I whant to make a website with trucks, cars pictures so if I go and take pictures of passing vehicles on my town and then publish them on my website is it ilegal ? I intend to delete from the pictures the license plates.

Answer:
Depends on what country you live in. In the United States, you can usually take pictures of people on the streets and in public, as there is no expectation of privacy. The same is true of cars on the road, so unless you were going into peoples garages or onto their property, you should be okay.

Metals are at a boom right now but, gas prices are turning Americans inside out literally to search for must needed extra money to pay for gas. Bur, what if instead of leaving cars to rot in abandoned car lots. We recycle the car and trucks to make new more durable and reliable vehicles. If it cost the same to make new metal for cars as t does to recycle then why not recycle. You may not save money recycling but, you will help leave a cleaner world for future generations and thats priceless.

Cars have made from recycled steel, alum, plastics and rubber for 20 years. You just dont see it because the recycled pieces come from the same manufacturing plants.

How many cars/trucks can a non dealer buy and sell in NC ?

I'm thinking of buying cars and trucks to fix up and sell to make some extra cash until we get back on our feet. I've herd people say that without auto dealer licance you can get in trouble with the law. My question is how many can you legely buy and sell in NC with out any trouble with the law? And what happends if you go over the limit? Thanks

Answer:
Most states have limits. I think mine is 4-6 per year per person. BUT, and this is key, as a general rule, the state has no way of knowing how many you have sold. Unless you are selling a BUNCH chances are you wont be caught and even if you are, most states are just going to want you to become a dealer. I was a dealer for years. Then let my license expire. I continued buying and selling for years, withOUT a license pretending that I was still a current dealer. That said, I could no longer get in some of the bigger auctions and such. And my title clerk never gave me a hard time about providing a real dealers number. Your biggest issue would be the time it takes for a title come back to you. If it takes 4-6 weeks, you usually cant sell the car if you arent a dealer. If you are, that isnt a problem. In my state, dealers, and especially dealers got in BIG trouble for ever selling a car with an open title. So be careful about that. Thats where you could get caught.
