Do you think people in the Southern States are the most friendly to strangers? Question: I was born and raised in Atlanta, and now im living in the New Orleans area. In New Orleans, people actually wave to you while driving while your in your car passing them by. I think the Northern Midwest is even more courteous. I lived in Wausau, Wisconsin and visited Minnesota and knew people from North Dakota. Those are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life so far in this country. Almost too nice. Answer: I have never been in the southern states but I have only heard good reports of people who have been there of the hospitality of the natives .. Equally I believe it's also our attitude as visitors.. when we visit a state or a province.. depending in what country we are.. If we are polite toward the native people of that state.. and if we are open minded to their own culture and curious but respectful then I believe most of them will automatically be polite in return.. it takes the visitors to be polite and respectful and open minded when going to another state.. then I am sure than for a great part.. then will be respected by the people who live there.. there are exceptions to the rule but overall I have made the experience.. that this is true... how we interact with each other and if we treat each other with respect and are curious about the history of that state.. but polite.. and open minded.. then the majority of people who are natives of that state will be nice to the vistors.. The strangers if they are nice usually get treated in a nice way.. at least this works everytime for my dad who travelled the world and he met fantastic people everywhere... because he is inquisitive without crossing the line.. and respectful, and open minded...After all no matter where we go, it is not only fun to go visit other states or even other countries.. but it broadens our minds and teaches us about other cultures.. or about history.. and travel makes us become interested in other cultures which prevents prejudice .. and we are all brothers and sisters.. no matter the color of the skin.. we have different cultural backgrounds and a different history.. but we live under the same sun, moon and stars.. and it's time we treat each other with mutual respect and give prejuice no chance but go wherever we go with an open mind.. because we are all equals, each of us with weaknesses but also strenght...We are all people of this world and we should strive to get on with one another.. I approve of that, wherever I go.... xxx |

what any and all hometown tracks do you have? Question: besides tracks in your hometown that nascar might go to, what other races (local) tracks do you have in town. any dirt, or short tracks? what any and all races cars race at your tracks? how often do you go to those? do any and all nascar drivers participate in any of those races at all? here is a list of tracks here in wisconsin. note: the list i have posted is a copy / paste from a website i found, unknown if all still exist, but here they are.
