$300. I just used Microsoft Maps to find out. It's 2200 miles, so you'll have to buy 100 gallons of gas. At $3 per gallon that will be $300. Good luck!

Port Angeles Washington- Black Ball Ferry Line?

We need a hotel for the night close to the Black Ball ferry-we also need a place to park the rental car for 2 nights while we are in Victoria BC. Any suggestions from locals or seasoned travelers?

Answer:
I am guessing you are referring to spending the night on the Port Angeles side? If so, the Red Lion Inn is just around the corner from the ferry terminal. You might be able to leave your car in their lot after spending the night. If not, I always park in the "Ferry Parking" lot right across the street from the terminal. It costs $8 a day, but usually I can park right under a street light and in the 30+ years I've been doing that, I've never had a problem with my car when I return. There is less expensive parking farther down Railroad Street, but I've never felt comfortable. You could go to google maps & type in hotels, port angeles, wa and you'll see there 2 or 3 other hotels very close to the ferry terminal. Have fun & don't forget your Passport or WA enhanced driver's license.

How do I get out of Port Angeles (WA) WITHOUT a car? ?

I need to get down to Salem, OR, and I know that there are both trains and buses from Seattle to Salem. So the question would be how to get from Port Angeles to Seattle, when NOT driving. I heard there was a ferry, but couldn't find it on the Washington Ferries website. There are Olympic or Olympus buses, but they only run once a day too early in the morning, because I'll be coming in from Victoria, BC by ferry. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommed taking Kitsap Transit from Port Angeles to the WA State Ferry in Bremerton for about $1.50 and then the Ferry across to Seattle which is free in the westbound direction when walking on board! From Seattle Amtrak Cascades provides frequent rail service to Salem. Avoid Greyhound due to poor quality service.

He was returned to Sheboygan in the early morning hours Sunday, said Capt. Dave Adams of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department. According to the complaint: Witnesses from the crash scene have said Carbajal-Lile walked away after retrieving his cell phone, and he called a friend twice saying he had hit something and didn't feel good. It only takes about about 2.5 hours to get from Seattle to BC. I'm not sure about leaving the rental car there; the last time I had to travel between the two cities I took the bus.
