heres the problem: a car you are riding in starts in Seattle and drives east on Interstate 90. the first stop on the trip is Ellensburg that is 100 miles away. after a bathroom break, it is off to watch a concert at the George which is another 30 miles away. after the concert you continue east to Moses Lake, 50 miles away, to spend the night. you get up in the morning and travel the next 100 miles east to spokane, where you play in Hoopfest over the next 3 days. then you turn to Moses Lake to ride the dunes on four wheelers. this was one of my problems on the quiz and i got it wrong and i just want to know how to do them correctly. please answer the questions questions are: 1) what is the total distance traveled for this trip? ( i said it was 330miles but i got it wrong? and i dont think i did anything wrong..) 2) what is the displacement for this trip? ( i really dont understand how to find the displacement) 3) if after riding the 4-wheelers in Moses Lake you turn to Seattle...... what is the distance you traveled for the entire trip that started in Seattle? ( the answer to this was 510miles which i got it correctly!) what is your displacement for the entire trip that started in Seattle? ( and heres my problem...I HAVE NO IDEA HOW DO FIND DISPLACEMENTS!) please help me! its really important and i really need good grades! explain it as simple as possible! :)
