Where to go to see SNOW in Washington State?
Question:
My boyfriend is coming to town next weekend and he really wants to see the snow, the mountains, etc. Washington state is famous for (where he lives there's no snow ever). I moved here recently so I don't know all the good places very well, but I want to take him to see the mountais and some snow. Anybody know where to take him? We're not into serious, several-days hiking, we just want to spend some time in the snow then go back to the city. It'd be best if there was a tour or something to a mountain. I live in Marysville, so nothing in Eastern WA will do. Thanks in advance for the serious answers! Also, anybody know if you can take a ferry without a car and just for the experience of going on a boat? I want to take him on a ferry trip too, but I don't know anytrhing about the islands, like what to do or where to go once you're in the island. I should specify. Me and my boyfriend would like to go 'see' the snow, but also be in it. Like some kind of light snowshoeing, or whatever it is called. Not just turn and see the mountain. It's about the whole experience of being in the snow for a while, which is something there is not in South America, specifically Uruguay, where my boyfriend lives. I was checking that Stevens Pass is closed for the season, so I think Mt. Rainier, which I know nothing about, would be the next option. Although, I don't really know if the tours offered by Grey Lines, for example, go up as high as to be in the snow. Help?

Answer:
I'd go to Mt. Baker. It has snow year-round. Since you are already in Marysville, you should be able to easily see it from there, you know it is always white. Take SR 542 out of Bellingham. And you can always walk onto a ferry. It's cheaper than taking a car. You can also take bikes and things onto them. you can go to http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/ to find info and schedules for the ferries.

where can you buy a rc drift car?

Moving cross-country. Want to hook a car dolly to a rental truck. Where can I find a car dolly/?
Question:
Moving from Washington State to Michigan. Would it be better to use a car dolly verses a tow bar to haul 1976 Olds Cutlass Supreme behind a rental truck? Car is in good condition and still runs. Who rents car dollies? Marysville,WA

Answer:
actually I would rent a car trailer it is a few dollars more a day, but is much safer and way less hassle. with a car on a trailer if you need to back up it is much easier to do You cannot back up with a car on a tow bar, or on a dolly, without damaging them, and in order to back up even a foot or two you have to completely disconnect and remove the car first, then hook it back up. And you would be surprised at how easy it is to get in a tight spot in a uhaul. on a long trip through unfamiliar territory. figure out what is best for you, and make your reservations for your equipment well in advance, uhaul and budget are two big companies, you pay extra money for one way rentals but that's the way it goes, also renting a trailer saves some money from having to wire all the turn signals and brake lights for a vehicle on a dolly or tow bar. there is another big company but the name escapes me, All of them have online websites you can explore however, best of luck, drive safe.
