How can get from Longview, wa to Portland OR, help please? Question: I live in Longview, Washington (next to Kelso and Castle rock, and cascade and all that) about an hour away from Portland, OR by car. I want to be able to get there by train or max or whatever because gas is just insanely expensive now. I saw this page: http://www.cwrr.com/Amtrak/wc_cascad.html But its not that clear and i couldnt find how much it cost to get there and come back and the times and all that. I want to go to Portland every Saturday or Sunday. What are the fees? Times? All of that? Is it cheap? Thanks!! (AP) — Hundreds of Longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview early Thursday, overpowered and held security guards, damaged railroad cars, and dumped grain that is the center of a labor dispute, said Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha. Six guards were held hostage for a couple of hours after 500 or more Longshoremen broke down gates about 4:30 a.m. and smashed windows in the guard shack, he said. No one was hurt, and nobody has been arrested. Most of the protesters returned to their union hall after cutting brake lines and spilling grain from car at the EGT terminal, Duscha said. And these people claim the Tea Party is violent or declared war on them. I this what Jimmy Hoffa was talking about the other day?
