Things to do in Auburn, Washington?
Question:
I'm going to visit Auburn, Washington, soon and looking for things to do. I don't like to spend a lot of money on activites and do not have a car (so train/bus/cab would be my options). My sister has a car but she also has two babies so we are limited in the distance we are able to go. I love farmers' markets and fun outdoor activities, such as fairs, festivals, and nature walks. Any suggestions? Thank you, all, for the suggestion. I didn't realize Auburn was sooo boring! haha

Answer:
Auburn is a suburb of Seattle. There is not a lot of things to do, however here are some ideas: Go to the Supermall. Most stores are outlets, so you can get some good deals. Go to Game Farm Park. It's a big park and a trail to walk. Or, go to Rogner park and walk the trail along the White River. Go to Emerald Downs (horse racing). Check what concerts are at the White River Amphitheater and take the shuttle up from the Supermall. Go to the Muckleshoot Casino or Bingo hall. See what's showing at the Auburn Ave Theater or at the PAC at Auburn High. Go to Federal Way to Dash Point State Park and walk on the beach, or go to West Hyblos park and walk through the wetlands. Go to Tacoma. There are several museums. Or go to Ruston Way and walk along the waterfront. Or go to Point Defiance Park. Hope these ideas help! There is not much bus service in Auburn, but the train to Seattle is great (except that it only runs at commute times).

Answer:
Doubt the lions are gonna get a 1st round running back with kevin smith working out for them. Because they have a horrid defense. Other than that most of these are pretty good. But one other thing. The raiders getting a OT. This could happen bout i doubt Al Davis will grow a brain. that would be the smart thing to do. But overall your mock draft is alot better than most.

Can somebody help me with my 2003 passat tiptronic tranny problem?
Question:
I have a 2003 1.8T Passat with 58KM. As I write, the car is at the dealership again, due to the transmission failing to shift. Every time I start my car seems to go in the second and stay there. I cannot use my manual shifting and when I check my gauge is red. I cannot see in which gear I am. I already spent 3000$ at my Auburn VW Dealer In Washington for them to guess what could be the problem. They're keep changing parts and still nothing. HELP!!!!

Answer:
DO NOT change repair facilities! is the problem exactly the same problem as b4? are the symptoms exactly the same? how long has it been since the last time it was in the shop for the exact same prob? call the B.A.R. Bureau of Automotive Repair of your state im from Cali and dealerships hate them coming over bcuz they ask a lot of questions and they have to explain why u r having the same problem and why it is not fixed, and best of all why they took your $3,000 if it is not fixed! oh and ask for a loaner car since they did not fix it right! and DO NOT pay for a rental car yourself they didn't fix it right. so they will give you a loaner car from there fleet and it wont cost them anything. DO NOT change repair facilities or u loose your leverage, it bcomes a blame game. the B.A.R. is there to protect YOU from repair facilities that take peoples money over and over without fixing the original problem. protect your money and yourself dont be taken advantage of! if you service ur car regularly see if u are covered under the powertrain warranty from vw. which is different from the factory 4yr 50k mile warranty. it may also have a powertrain warranty extension as some do

Answer:
It means it will be towed and taken to the impound lot where he will have to pay A LOT of $$ to get it out. You can't just leave your car on the side of the road!?! Tell him to go get it now!

hi i really want to be a writer what do you think of my sample?
Question:
Last day, last day, last day I hope. I think I’m getting car sick and not the movement sickness I’m just sick and tired of being in this car! Today makes it a week a full week. With eight hours a day you should know I was so tiered of this car. I had my knees up on the seat with my hands raped around them and my head laying on the car door, while I was looking out the window. It was a bright sunny day and that seemed almost not right. “I thought we were in Washington” I mumbled so no one could hear me. “I’m sca-“I stopped. “You’re what?” My mom said looking puzzled. “I’m… tiered of being in this car when do we get to get out!?” “Sweaty we” she stopped. “We all know you want to get out I’m sere so does your sister.” I looked over at my sister with both ear phones in her ears and texting one (or more) of her friends. I looked back out the window I saw the constructer workers by the road. Then a few seconds later the road went from bumpy to smooth. I didn’t feel like we were driving anymore. “Where’s dad” I said to quietly so no one could hear me. “what did you say sweaty.” I guess she heard me. “Where is dad?” “He had to stop and tighten the rope for the coach” she said looking mad. “Oh” I looked out the window hoping we where almost there. “Are we” I asked as if she read everything I was thinking. “Are we what?” “Almost there.” “I don’t know” she knows but doesn’t want to tell me. I saw a sigh that said Auburn I think that’s close to Federal Way. I looked away from the window then looked back. Then I saw a sigh that said Federal Way. “What?” “Did you like your nap?”she said looking puzzled. “Nap?” “You’ve been asleep for about thirty minutes.” Wow. We went down a road with nothing but houses. It was marked 7th street. I was thinking about something that my mom told me in New York. “So mom…. What street are we moving to” me and my mom where in the living room, just the two of us, and I wanted to talk to her but I didn’t know what to say. I don’t know why thought. “Are addresses will be 362 7th street Southeast Federal Way Washington. Why?” “I don’t know just wondering.” We pulled up to a house marked 362 on 7th and I knew this is not the end just the beginning.

Answer:
The spelling and grammar are so bad that if you tried to write like this, and submit it anywhere, it would be immediately rejected. I appreciate what you've tried to do though, maybe take some more English classes because I'm assuming you're still in school, and work on the story. Also, something to think about, posting your original work on the internet even in an informal manner such as this is considered publishing. You would not be able to get anything you previously posted on the internet published anywhere (if you are trying to sell your work) because it is already considered published.

im 13 and i want to be a righter tell me what u think of my sampel?

Answer:
To be a writer you need to learn how to spell. Grammar is important too. Learn those first, though at your age you should know the basics by now. I guess you don't go to school?

Question:
CHAPTER ONE: THE BEGINNING Have you ever wonder if there was a secret world behind these sturdy walls our brain has programed for us to call normal. Can the word normal actually be defined though? These were some of the thoughts that use to run through my mind daily. I can give you some answers if your questions were like mine! Like my teachers always say though "But wait there's more!" Apparently every year at the end of the school year at Cornela's school for the gifted and talented you have to document each year here. So this is my freshman year at Cornelia's school for the gifted and talented, as Aria Marie Langford! CHAPTER TWO: WERE IT STARTS OFF What was in my hands was the one thing that could and would soon enough change my life forever, and that was a letter from Cornelia's school for the gifted and talented. As i opened it i didn't notice till after i read the letter that i was holding my breath. Not trusting my voice i passed the letter to my mother Holly langford who once again hands the letter back to me. "I guess this means you better start packing honey because you going to Cornelia!" My mother didn't sound at all surprised but did sound proud. I knew at that moment i would be spending the next four years in clarkston, washington. What i didn't know was that me moving into a dorm at Cornelia was going to be the easiest thing that i would do. At the time i was clueless so after packing my 5 Suite cases of all the latest fashions. Along with my sweats and favorite t-shirts then the other stuff my mom said was a necessities i was set to go. I had to push and shove a few things since my moms BMW was packed with enough of my clothes and "necessities" things were a tight fit. As i carried my last Suite case to the car i stopped at the body length mirror in the Fourier of our 3 story house and just stared at the the familiar stranger. The girl with my long but straight brown hair with a few strands of what seemed like auburn in her hair. I was staring at my body that everyone supposedly envy's but in my eyes my butt is way too small. The one thing i did notice and im so thankful for is my silky healthy tannish skin with my straight pearly white teeth and my large pretty crystal blue eyes. I also could of picked a better outfit then my black poncho top, with jeggings and my black stellito heels, with my favorite aviator sunglasses. Since i am going to be sitting in the car all day because L.A california is a bit away from clarkston, washington where my new home is located! ********************************** CHAPTER THREE: WELCOME! Once i was in clarkston i was extremely nervous but as my mom pulled up to the mansion of a school nervous wasn't the right word for what i was feeling what i was feeling deserved its own word.

Answer:
Well it's not a bad start, but you do have some pretty big rookie mistakes here. One big critique is that you don't need Chapter one here at all. You don't want to address the audience because it pulls your reader out of momentum. It makes me think 'Uh, no I've never thought those things actually' which makes me want to stop reading immediately. Plus you never want to have a character introduce themselves by name. Another big critique is that you need to learn to edit yourself. Your first sentence in Chapter 2 runs on and needs to be reworded. Just write in as few words as possible. Then, if it's told in this character's point of view, what's the point in mentioning the mother's name? Just call her what the character would call her. It's called a suit case - a Suite is like a fancy hotel room. Spell out numbers. I'm not sure how the character stares at her own body, but if it's in a mirror that's cliche. You're also teetering on Mary Sue territory - she sounds too perfect. To create a realistic character, she needs to have some flaws. Chapter three also has a run on sentence. Try reading things out loud to get a feel of how they should flow. Good luck to you.

i would like to be a writer so tell me what you think and plz dont say anything about my spelling?

Answer:
I think it's good but you need to add more detail. Slow down with it. Great use of imagery and keep it up. I like how you're letting the reader relate to the the main character. So far so good. =) send me a copy when you're done with it
