This is not how laws read. Any volume which does not disturb the peace is legal. Any volume which does is illegal. Whether a volume disturbs the peace will depend upon a number of factors, including who is around you, how close they are, how obnoxious your music is, and whether your windows are open or closed.

Do you need a car in Richmond Virginia?

I'm talking about the city part near VCU. How is public transportation? I hate driving

Answer:
VCU offers a bus service in between the Academic (AKA: Monroe Park) Campus and the Medical (AKA: MCV) Campus during "normal" hours. If you are staying at either one of the campus locations, you can scoot between the two and enjoy the benefits of the other. There are restauraunts, bars, and groceries within walking distance of the Academic Campus. Shockoe Bottom and Shockoe Slip (restauraunt and club area) is within walking distance of the Medical Campus. There is public transportation, but Richmond is rather incompetent and managing it. If you are at the Academic Campus, I know that a city bus can take you straight down Main Street to the Carytown area. (Shops, clubs, bars, restauraunts, Plan 9 Music, and the Byrd Theater second run $1.99 movies. The area is awesome and a major college hangout!) The bus service generally does not go to any place of interest in Henrico or Chesterfield, so you are stuck in the City of Richmond without transportation. The bus does service Stony Point Mall which is a new "upscale" mall south of the James River and also it goes to the Target and Wal-Mart on Forest Hill Avenue. Good luck deciphering the bus schedules and maps though. In a nut shell, you can survive at VCU with out a car. When I attended, I had friends who lived in the Fan and got everywhere (that was a distance) on a bike. Good luck!

Here is my list of must do's and in the order of coolest. This is just my opinion but I'll bet it would be pretty close to most people: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts St. John's Church Edgar Allan Poe Museum Science Museum of Virginia Metro Richmond Zoo Three Lakes Nature Center and Aquarium Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Museum and White House of the Confederacy And for restaurants Double T's BBQ - best BBQ in VA Acacia Have fun - Richmond is a very nice city!!

I tried to find an answer online, and it's almost like no one has ever tried this before! I then checked Hotwire, and their lowest rate was $21/day ($868 total). There are a few $50 off coupons out there, too. I went through Neotravel and looked at the rates at Budget, and their lowest rate was $649 (I'm not sure if that included the $50 off or not). Maybe try and bid... $400 or so? Or maybe even less.

so my sound system was perfect, except i wanted a little more bass in my car. i turned my car off, put in some new subs. when i turn the car on now, there is no power going to the subs, yet the amp still powers up. i tried my old subs again (which worked fine) and those also didn't have any bass coming out. if you think you can fix this, the $20.00 is all yours.

check the amp there should be 2 or 3 settings High Pass (HP) Low Pass (LP) Flat for subs it should be on LP, if it is on flat or HP it won't have much if any bass
