is my illinois auto insurance valid in the state of utah?

I Currently Live in Illinois But I'll Be Moving Temporary to Orem Utah,from 6 mos up to 1 year,but since i know i will be coming back i was planning on keeping my current insurance and the car registered to my illinois address... but im really unaware if my insurance which covers liability in illinois will be valid in utah or not... thanks

It's going to depend upon why you are moving to Utah. You may even have to get a UT driver's license along with UT insurance. Check with your insurance company. They can tell you the truth. You may even want to change it to UT for cheaper rates, if it is cheaper. If you maintain a residence in IL and pay rent (or own the home), you'll be like many snow birds here in AZ (and FL). They live here for 6 mos, then move back north for 6 mos. No changes in their driver's license or insurance because they maintain two residences.

How long does it take to drive from Orem, UT to San-Diego, CA?

I am getting married soon. We want to go to San-Diego, but don't want to spend money for air tickets. We gonna rent a car and just drive there. If you guys have an experience at driving from Utah to San-Diego, please tell me how long does it aprx. takes. Thank you.

Answer:
I have driven from Salt Lake City to San Diego a couple of times and it took me about 12 hours each way. Since Orem is a little closer (although not much), I would say about 11 hours. And that doesn't include any stops other than gas and quick meals. Good luck on your honeymoon and I hope you have a very happy marriage!!

Utah. Roads to the canyons ski resort?

I am curious how the roads are on the way up the mountain. I know that the weather always changes in the winter and stuff but im not sure if it is a good idea to take my car up there on just a normal ski day. I grew up with tons of snow and stuff so i know the risks and how to drive in it. your thoughts? ps. is there a shuttle that leaves from provo/orem area for cheap (like 20 bucks)?

Well if it isn't snowing its pretty normal but windy road.. Its not that bad though.. if it is snowing it may be a little more difficult because to drive up the canyon you need 4 wheel drive or chains.. So prepare accordingly. Its an interstate though so they keep it pretty clean after it snows. I am not aware of a shuttle from Provo.. but I would maybe look at RideUTA.com.. its the Utah public transportation site that has schedules and routes and everything.

Answer:
The Prelude, definitely. The type-SH has the ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System), which, during a turn, distributes up to 15% more power to the outside wheel to assist the turn. Apparently, it makes driving a lot more fun. Plus, the prelude is going to be newer. It also just looks a whole lot cleaner.
