is datc in kaysville utah worth going to for ase?
Question:
i am 19 and have been working on cars since i was 13. i started going to datc my junior and senior year and im just wondering if anyone who has actually graduated the course actually got anything out of it? becuase i rarely do any work on cars in there and really hate the book work and should i just get a loan and go to uti or something a little better? cause after doing this course i just don't feel it to be worth my time and feel like i learn more in the shop i currently work for than i ever did going to school.

Answer:
Only place I know for hands on training with book work backup is your local community or an auto. tech.college if some formal training and diploma wanted. If I remember right 2 years in shop before ASE tests can be taken. I did auto tech college worked great for me but a long time ago 1960s. You'll find that every year you'll need to bone up on new models to keep up, so don't hate those tech. manuals.
