What is an ideal mortgage payment for a starter home in Sugar Land, TX?
Question:
Presuming the couple has no kids, earn a combined 80,000, and only has bills like school loans, car insurance, and daily living expenses of about $600/monthly. You don't have to factor in this information. You can state what you want based on what you believe is an ideal mortgage payment. Just need a clue. We would like a brand new home ideally between $170-250k. Please share any info. you may have. Thanks

Answer:
Your mortgage payment is based on a number of factors. Will you escrow? What is the interest rate? What is the property tax rate? With taxes, insurance and mortgage, I'd estimate your mortgage would be about 10 percent of the cost of your home. This is just an estimate. So if you get a home that cost $170,000, your mortgage payment with everything escrowed would be $1,700. But don't forget about the yearly HOA fees, Maintenance, etc. Don't be house poor, try and get a brand new home that has been in inventory. Inventory homes are the best deals, when you want brand new. In this Market, you have the upper hand to negotiate. Good Luck!

Hugs! Can Hawaii grow sugar cane like brazil to run ethanol flex cars? Do they have the same climate?
Question:
What's holding Hawaii back, is it big oil lobbyists, politicians? Why would Hawaii want to import oil when they can grow it locally? Did you know the federal government controls half the land in Hawaii? If it's technologically possible, are we just inept? Can it make enough fuel for its own consumption?

Answer:
Hawaii does grow sugar cane. What is holding this alternate fuel idea back is that the Brazilians have totally different engines and systems in their cars which allow them to burn more ethanol than our current car models do. Theirs are designed to burn 80% ethanol, ours 10%. It would take a major overhaul of our automobile industry and all our current cars would beecome obselete. From an expert in Brazil: "I’m an organic sugar cane farmer and ethanol expert in Brazil. And I think it is my duty to tell my American readers and friends that this comparison is not so simple or straightforward. This would be, indeed, comparing mangoes and apples." and... "Having a population that is 61% of the USA’s population, Brazil has a fleet of vehicles that is only 12% of the total American fleet. And a gasoline consumption that is only 2.9% (yes, this is really less than 3%!) of USA’s gasoline consumption." http://www.energybulletin.net/21064.html

How much land needed to keep a regular family car running for a year with ethanol?
Question:
As far as I know is needed two hectares (20.000.oo sq,mt) produce 1 lter of fuel, the sugar cane could be harvested twice per year with high investiments in technology, land and water. this means about 24 km (14.65 mi) running in the road and about half in the city, close to 12 minutes with the engine on, Do you a know better figures? This question is to realize how much of the croppable land would be sacrificed just to keep us driving our cars.

Answer:
it would be a lot.. the real problem is the power needed to distill the fuel.. this it the factor most often omitted by the alliterative fuel crowd

I got a job at pizza hut in the Sugar Land area as a delivery driver. What hours should I expect?
Question:
I have to go to school from 8:15 to 3:40 Monday to Friday, so I could work from 4:30 PM - 10:45 PM. The manager told me that there were 21 drivers, what chances do I have of getting an after school shift? How long would shifts last? This is my first job and I want to get alot of hours so I can save up for a car. (I'm going to be using my parents car to deliver pizzas)

Answer:
Most people order pizzas, in the evening, when they get home from work, or are having a night in at the weekend. So that is when the majority of the delivery shifts are. The evening shifts will not start until about 5.30pm, or 6.00pm. They would normally finish around 10.00pm, or 10.30 pm, so you could get quite a few hours work. Friday night, and Saturday night are the busiest nights. You should also get tips, which will help towards buying your own car. Just remember to be very cheerful and nice, that helps with the tips. Have fun.

Why would an American girl stupidly try to smuggle illegals?
Question:
Hope she enjoyed her karma, I lmao at her. HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A local high school student has been found murdered in Mexico, after her mother told police she went down there to learn how to transport illegal immigrants across the border. Related Content More: Got a story idea? Let us know! On Tuesday night, friends and family gathered at the teen's Sugar Land home. Cars lined the driveway, people spilled outside. And at Kempner High School, the loss of one the school's brightest students has been tough enough. "You know, you want to see everybody happy," said student Shaina Ituah. "We don't want violence. We don't want sad faces." In the school's parking lot, Mandala's parking spot is filled with short eulogies and sweet goodbyes, but now students wonder whether the high school senior who loved Justin Beiber and riding horses at her family's stables led a double life. "I've heard a whole bunch of rumors," said student Tamara Awofeso. "At first, I didn't believe it because it sounded like something out of a movie theater." According to a Mexican newspaper, Elisabeth Mandala, 18, was found dead this past Saturday in the small Mexican town of Mina. Her body, along with those of two Mexican men, was found in a Dodge truck which appeared to have wrecked. But, according to the newspaper, authorities suspected the wreck was merely a cover-up for murder, believing the victims had been beaten to death hours before. "It's horrible. It really is," said close family friend Sheila Mayo. "It's such a loss, such a loss. She just didn't have a chance to live her life." Mandala, we have learned, was reported missing to Houston police on May 1. Her mother told authorities she had rented a car a few days earlier to go to Mexico to meet up with someone. According to missing persons, her mother told police that she wanted to be a coyote -- a human smuggler. Her mother also told police Elisabeth was an exotic dancer. We attempted to reach her mother at her home and by cell phonem, but we have yet to get a response. "It just shows that you're not guaranteed tomorrow," Awofeso said. At Kempner High School, where Mandala was just weeks from graduating, counselors are on hand to help classmates cope with the devastating news. Student Megen Cates said, "Everyone just feels like there was something they could have done to help her."

Answer:
He mother knew she going there to learn human smuggling.....and she allowed that??

But I just bought a car..and iv had a few diff. Ppl tell me that if I'm 17 I can just go pay to take the permit test. Is this true? If so then where do I go? What do I call?

Answer:
Yeah, you can get a learner's permit without classes. I took the classes last year, and most people who had it were just beginning to take the classes. When go to the MVA/DMV (whatever they call it in your town) you'll still need your parents or someone that's in charge of you over 18 to sign your forms for you. goood luck!
