Need a tip to find decent Military airfare from San Angelo TX to San Jose CA.? Question: My Airforce son is coming home for Christmas. I am trying to get a ticket for him. All flights out of San Angelo are super expensive. Tickets from Austin and San Antonio are less but wondering if there is a way to get to those airports that doesn't involve renting a car (too young). Answer: You will have to take what you can get......and do it now. Christmas travel will book early this year.....and .......no deals over the holidays...... |

Anyone with a knowledge of cars willing to help? Question: Okay. My car is a 1995 Ford Taurus, with about 77,600 miles on it. I just got a full service oil change and brand new tires put on about 170 miles ago. The only problem with my car is that the brake rotor-somethings "need to be turned, but won't hurt if they're not." I live in San Angelo, Texas and in August, I'm planning on going to Dallas to see Blue October perform. Based on the given information, do you think my car can make it to and from Dallas safely? If it can't be determined through Yahoo! Answers, is there someone I can take it to, free of charge, to look at and see if my car's up to the trip? they only said i needed to have the rotors turned because when I brake, it starts to lightly shake the car. Answer: if everything else is in working order and all they told you was that your brake rotors needed to be turned but are ok then your car is ok....but if your gonna go on a big trip just make sure that all your fluids are topped off and your tires are at the right pressure...if it was all done less than a tank of gas ago then you will be just fine...but keep in mind that no one really turns rotors anymore....they are only around $40-$50 each for new ones so its easier to just replace them....next time you do your breaks have them checked/replaced. |

Which route on car is the fastest from Houston to Odessa, Texas? Question: I am attending college in Odessa, and I live in Houston. I was just curious which way is the fastest, from people who have made the trip. I have taken two different ways, Houston > Austin> Brady> San Angelo > Odessa> around 8.5 hours and Houston > San Antonio > Iraan > Crane which is basically 10 all the way. 8 hours. assuming speed limit is there a faster way to go? Answer: I've been to Midland several times & the quickest route to me was the Houston, Austin, San Angelo, Midland/Odessa route. Good luck. |

Meeting someone for the first time...need help fast!? Question: Im going to meet a guy 2morow that I have been talking to for about 4 months now! He is in the military and he is stationed in school at San Angelo, Tx. He finally got a car n we want to meet each other really bad. We are meeting up half way which is somewhere around Dallas because I live in Caddo, Ok. My friends are freaking me out though, they keep thinking of the worst things that could happen to me if I meet him n its kinda making me not want to go but I like him alot n if we meet n everything goes good in person then we want to start dating! I trust him alot n I have no reason to think otherwise? I know the possibilities about us living so far apart n him cheating on me but, relationships are all about trust n honesty right? So how come I'm wrong to have trust in him n I'm willing to try? I guess I just need advice on what to do when I meet him to make sure I don't get hurt without things being totally awkward? (Extra info.) We talk on the phone all the time, he has the same pics of him on myspace n myyearbook(where I met him/dating site) and sends me pics to my phone...so will you plz help me? I'm more afraid to listen to my friends n let him go n possibly ruin the best thing that could happen to me then I am to meet him!? :( Answer: if you're afraid that something could happen have a friend come with you, an just meet and then if he is who he says he is tell her to go do something in dallas (cuz theres a sh*t ton) and then later when you're ready to leave call her and have her come pick you up. an if he asks why you brought a friend say well she knows dallas better then i do plus i get tired on road trips so she's just here to keep me awake an what not |
