I remember you asking this question before. Since you'll be staying with someone for a couple months of the year and your don't have a lot of monthly bills I think you can make it, but you'll have to be very careful with your money. If you'll look south of Hwy 183 you'll find that the apartments are cheaper. It's amazing what people can do when they have to, and you sound like you are determined to make it. Good luck.

A while back they were arresting people in bars for being drunk. The charge was public intoxication. The police were considering a bar to be public. The justification they gave was that they wanted to stop people BEFORE they got in their cars. Which is ridiculous as you might take a cab. OK but so Im thinking there are strip clubs in Irving and the cops werent going in there arresting strippers for public indecency.

DON'T DO IT without following all the legal requirements. You will need to get a bill of sale, and register the car in your name so that you are the owner. The credit company will also have to approve the sale. If you don't do this, you will just be giving this guy your money and he can take the car back whenever he wants and you can't do a thing about it. Go to the Dallas County Tax Office (back in the corner at the intersection of Pioneer Dr. and O'Connor, in Irving) and talk to them about what paperwork you need. Take the guy with you. Be sure you do this paperwork or you will not own the car and he will be able to take it back any time he wants. You will just be giving him your money and have nothing to show for it.

I don't know much about Irving but I checked and there's a Sears Auto Center there. I've had good luck with Sears (especially in Des Moines). They're not my first choice, but they're the one choice that I have some nationwide confidence in. Making things tricky is you getting all the parts. Hope you kept the receipts, since a mechanic may want to supply his own parts. Not trying to be nasty, but this is like bringing your own eggs to a restaurant and asking them to make you an egg sandwich. If you've not spun a few wrenches, this is a task better left to someone who has. Get it wrong and you'll lose oil, leading to major problems. Irving, Texas traffic citation for lane change without indicator?

I got a citation today for changing lanes without signalling. But most importantly I clearly remember signalling to the left as I changed lanes. The police car was on that lane but a good 200-300 yards behind with no vehicle in between. The cop only acknowledged OK, two-three times I told him I was signalling. Took my license and after a good 15-20mins came back with a citation. That was disappointing and it became even more puzzling that I got cited when I tested that my tail lights were working properly. I need help with the options: a. plead not guilty and go through pre trial. What happens in pretrial and do I loose any more flexibility (like going for defensive driving) if I choose this option. Also further after pretrial if a judge hearing is scheduled, do the fines/costs and options change ? b. Choose No Contest.What is typically difference in fines and points in choosing this option along with defensive driving vs pleading guilty? Also if you have any approx cost on fines for this type of citation, please share.
