weather shouldn't be your problem....the vehicle might...some vehicles don't like the 'no air' in mile high CO...so take a car/vehicle thats been maintained and have it looked at for problems before you go...CO weather is like bad one week, good the next (called freeze/thaw by the locals.) The roads are better maintained than most in snowy places, cause of the 'thaw' week.

I live in Aburey Texas (Savannah) Is there a public transportaion system to get me to Dallas?

you can go to the DMV and they will give you a new one. Most places, however, will only mail the title to the address listed on it. that might be a problem since you moved.

You have 30 days to get a Texas license and transfer the license on your car. I don't know about your job openings here, but you have to get your resume out and talk to people. You need to talk to N.Y. about your state tax return, we do not have a state income tax in Texas. There are several good banks that do not charge a fee you can find one convenient to your home or job.

Since I can't find a job because of disability discrimination & lack of opportunities & transportation in such a tiny town? & need something constructive to do? I suffer OCD, Tourette's, anxiety, & depression. Even though I have my BA in Spanish, I still can't find anything, & it's making me more stressed out & depressed. I don't have a car. What about what you know .Doing something to help others in need like yourself .Perhaps providing them with a service, tutoring spanish . Finding a car that has been donated could be a place to start to look. Use what you have and what you know . A small business providing service for elderly whom are spanish speaking. Or check out your local college,they may post jobs. You may need to start in your small town and network your way to Dallas,Irving,Frisco. Question about taxi cab pricing in DALLAS, TX (and surrounding areas)?

For those in Texas (preferably surrounding Dallas), around about how much would a taxi cab ride cost to from the Dallas airport to Frisco, TX? The mileage distance is 25-30 miles away. Also, is there any other way to travel that type of distance in Dallas without a cab or rental car?

Answer:
Consider using public transit. From DFW airport, the DART system can get you into downtown on an express bus route then their light rail line can take you to Plaino which is near Frisco. Also the TRE commuter rail line serves the DFW airport via a conecting free shuttle from the Centrepoint station. The TRE line operates between Dallas and Ft. Worth making connections to the light rail lines and other buses on both ends. Taxi's in Dallas are way expensive so public transit would be a good option. Best of luck!

Ok I live in Dallas, TX, and I'm a model and own multiple boutiques all over Texas and New Jersey. My yearly salary is about $445,000. I was thinking about moving to Dubai to pursue my modeling career, but I changed my mind because I would get homesick. I live in a 2,100 sqft 1 story home in Frisco, TX, but I want to buy a new construction 6,000 (5,989) sqft 2 story home that cost $789,900. It has 5 bedrooms, 6 full baths, 4 car garage, a pool, theater room, game room, and it's located in Prosper, TX . I'm the only person that will be living in the house if I buy it, but I don't know if I can really afford it. I also have 3 cars. A 2007 Ferrari, 2010 Bentley GT, and a 2011 Range Rover that I JUST bought today. So do you think I can afford it while paying 3 car notes? Plus I have 2 yorkie puppies that I spend a lot of money on.

With that much cash flow, I would recommend a financial adviser. However, If your current home is sufficient, why do you need a 5 bed, 6 bath home? You make 400+ a year, yet you did not pay cash for any of your vehicles? Is your current home paid for? Seriously, talk to a financial adviser.
