I don't live in conroe but a friend of mine has had that problem with the meineke car care center here and i do know that meineke gets their parts through advance auto and they double or sometimes triple the prices, stay away from meineke, midas, and firestone when it comes to breaks, always call around for the lowest prices or buy a repair manual from auto zone and do it yourself, but if you do feel more comfortable taking it somewhere, usually local mechanics are better than chain stores.

My car was parked on the street in front of my house and the guy across the street backed out of his driveway VERY fast and hit it. The car was towed to Gullo Ford in Conroe and it has been there for 2 months. They called last week and said it was ready. I went to pick up the car and was driving home and the A/C didnt work...... all the dashboard light began flashing and it died. I called the dealership where it was fixed and they sent a tow truck after it. Now, a week later they call and said the alternator is bad and the a/c went out?? WTF?? They contacted the insurance company and they said they were not going to pay for it? I want the car back to it "pre-accident condition". What do I do? Is there a lawyer in my area that can help me? The dealer now is saying that I owe them for the tow fees and $588 to fix it!! Help!!!

Basically you have to have a good credit card and a current drivers license and be over 25. If you are under 25 and have a perfect driving record some companies will rent to you but you pay a premium. You don't need to have auto insurance if you don't own a car but you have to pay for all the stuff the rental sells if you don't. You will get whatever kind of car the rental agency has. Some use Fords, some Chevies etc.

My Daughter was convicted friday by 11 jurors in Montgomery county, Conroe Texas by Judge Mayes. I need to get help for her our resources are tapped out and I always thought you had to have 12 jurors, If anyone can help me in this matter or know of any groups in Houston TX that can help me . She is being sentenced on Monday of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assult. It was proven by the states witness that the things in her system were at such low levels it could have been up to 30 hours before the accident. Everyone in the truck who was wearing a seatbelt lived but a 8yr. old boy died. The driver of the truck had no license in texas he was considered blind and no insurance on the truck. My daughter was blamed for crossing the line, by troopers who didn't investigate or look in the other truck, once they found a joint in her car. There were empty pill bottles in the truck, labels of and a X on the lid. The troopers decided she was at fault.No blood test on the other driver.

I never owned an SUV, but my co-worker does have a Chevy Tahoe that she bought new in 2004. After just 55,000 miles it required a $3000 transmission replacement. I think Chevy has longer warranties now, but still the gas mileage is killing her and its trade in value. Hyundai has a wide range of SUV's starting at $16K-$34K and engines from 140HP (2.0L) to 268 (3.8L). The mid-size Santa Fe is very nice, but man that Veracruz is such a beautiful vehicle for the price, you'd pay $10K more for a similar Acura/Infiniti.

There are several currently being offered for sale on eBay Motors, but even the really tired examples can command at least $5K. Remember "The Dukes of Hazzard"? The Chargers they didn't prang on that show have already mostly been restored. it would be easier to find a budget car by looking for the 1966-67 models. or the 1971-74 examples. Another good choice might be the Dodge Coronet of the same vintage

Where should I take my Dodge Charger for Service?

I have a 2009 Dodge Charger R/T. I need to take it somewhere and get my brakes, brake pads, etc. replaced, New Tires, check for alignment, or need for repairs of any kind... A Maintenance check, Oil Change, etc. I believe my car is still under a limited power train warranty, but that is all. I don't have a Service Warranty or anything. I'm hoping to get nice tires that are All Purpose or All season because we're moving to a state that gets snow. Also hoping for really good brakes or performance brakes if possible. The basic ones that came on the car were horrible. I don't know if Mopar has a "Performance" Brake kit above OEM brakes. I also have a slight shake in the car, but I think it has to do with the brakes needing to be changed. Can anyone tell me where to go for "Honest and Dependable" Service and Repairs in the Conroe, Texas and surrounding areas? I live in Huntsville. The last time I took my car to the Team Dodge in Huntsville, the car ran like crap. I don't know if that's because when we bought the car it had some type of chip or setting that will let us drive super fast or what... But when we bought the car it drove like a High Performance Race car or something... and after we took it in for an oil change at the Team Dodge in Huntsville, Texas, it drove like crap, had no get up and go or anything. My first place I have found was DeMontrond in Conroe, Texas, but I don't know since they don't seem to be a all Dodge Dealer... =/ I guess what really matters is Quality Service but I don't want low-grade parts in my car and I heard some places do that.
