Approximatly, how long of a drive is it from Saint John NB, to Oak Ridges Ontario?
Question:
My parents need to get to Oak Ridges this weekend, from about Saint John NB, to see my grandfather, who is unfortunately passing away. They don't know if the car can handle it. Does any one know approximately how long it would take to drive there? We were guessing about 16 hours, non-stop driving.

Answer:
Google Maps makes it about 15 hours and a bit. The caveat is that the website finds Oak Ridges in Richmond Hill, just outside of Toronto. If this isn't the Oak Ridges you want, we'll have to do a different search, maybe with a different spelling.

Is Oak Pass Road off Highridge Drive in Los Angeles next to Beverly Park open to public cars?
Question:
My Grandparents live at San Ysidro Drive close to Summitridge Drive. I went on Googlemaps and it says to take Summit Ridge Drive to High Ridge Drive then to Oak Pass Rd to Hutton Dr. Deep Canyon Drive to Mulholland, My Grandfather told me that on Oak Pass Rd there was a gate that was locked and could only be opened by residents. Is this the case now or can one use this route to the Valley? My Grandfather never tried it since he was afraid that there was a gate. His brother used to live on Oak Pass Rd and gave him a key ever since his brother moved he did not take it. Since we love exploring new roads I would like to try this out so he does not have to go all the way down his road to Benidict Canyon to the Valley. Any help would be most appreciative since Googlemaps gives this route but I do understand that it can't be accurate. Has the gate been removed or is it open to public traffic and when was this done?

Answer:
The gate seems to be at Summitridge and Mulholland. I don't recall a gate on Oak Pass Road. You should try it for your grandfather (who must be LOADED with money if he lives up there). However, there are a lot of twists, turns, and name changes. Normally when a street goes straight, it stays the same. But Oak Park and other streets turn 90 degrees at some intersetions, where the physical street itself goes straight under a different name. It might be a bit much for him.

Where were you on September 11th... 6 years ago?
Question:
I was working at my job at a check printing company in Nashville. An employee ran through our work area yelling, " The twin towers and the Pentagon are under attack!" We thought she was crazy at the time. When we got our breaks everyone ran to their cars to turn on the radio. On the way we noticed about 16 airplanes staging in the sky... waiting to come in. The job is by the airport. After getting few facts and looking dazed and confused... we couldn't wait to get off. On the way home it was eerily silent and every radio on every car broadcasted the news. Once home I turned on CNN and... you know the rest of the story. We were worried because we have a nuclear plant in Oak Ridge, Tn. We all wtched in horror as the events unfolded. I have this tragedy etched permanently in my mind and cannot forget. Will you? Much love to all the victims, families and children affected by this event. Peace and Blessings.

Answer:
It was the beginning of my Senior Year in H.S., and I had just gotten up for school; it was about 6-6:30am (cali time). It was still dark outside, and my mom was sitting in the living room drinking her coffee watching the news, and told me that a plane had just crashed into the WTC. There was live coverage, and we could see the smoke coming from the building. We were talking about it, trying to figure out what happened because we thought it was an accident. And just then, we saw the 2nd plane hit the other WTC on live T.V.!! That's when we knew it wasn't just an accident, and something really bad was happening. By the time I got to school, the Paragon had been hit, and we had the news on in every classroom watching 9/11 unfold. We didn't do class work in one class that day, because we were all so focused on what was happening. That day I never saw the world the same way again. It wasn't this safe place anymore, with wars only in our history books and in 3rd world countries. It hit so close to home, and it was a harsh wake up call. We were on the complete other side of the country, but that day, we were just one country and we felt for every single one of the people in New York. I still remember.

I HAVE NO ONE TO CO-SIGN FOR ME WHAT DO I DO?
Question:
hi my name is jessica, am 19 and i have a ford tempo 1992. and one night i was driving to work and it tore up on me. my boyfriend and his family had to drive it home going 15mph for two hours back home off of i-75 going back from oak ridge to lafollette. i am told that my gears wont shift. i dont know any thing about cars!!!!! so the next day my boyfriend and his mother and i went looking for a new car (really used tho) and it $3 thousand and i dont have no one able to co sign for me and am wonting to trade my other car in for it for a down payment. and am needing a car asap. please can someone one help me? and if any one else knows how to help me as well please e-mail me.

Answer:
Save up to buy something outright. Until then, take public transportation. Adding a car payment every month is a lot harder than you think, and if you buy it outright you will not have to make payments with interest, you end up paying twice as much.

Should there be a punishment for an unbalanced budget?
Question:
Like a foreclosure on the white house? We have a 13 trillion dollar debt...with no balanced budget in sight. •$100,000 for socially conscious puppet shows in Minnesota •$2 million to build a replica railroad tourist attraction in Carson City, Nevada •$462,000 to purchase 22 concrete toilets for use in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri •$3.1 million to transform a canal barge into a floating museum that will travel the Erie Canal in New York •$1.5 billion for a Carbon Capturing Contest •$3.4 million to create an underground turtle tunnel, or eco-passage, in Lake Jackson, Florida. •$1 million to study the health effects of environmentally friendly public housing on 300 people in Chicago. •$983,952 for street beautification in Ann Arbor, Mich., including decorative lighting, trees, benches and bike paths •$1 million for Portland, Ore., to replace 100 aging bike lockers and build a garage that would house 250 bicycles. •$700,000 to Oregon crab fishermen to help recover lost crab post. You would think for that much money they could just go buy new ones. •$300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state. •$5 million to create a geothermal energy system for the Oak Ridge City Center shopping mall in Oak Ridge, Tenn. From TheHill.com, The main problem, is the fact the mall has been losing tenants for years and is mostly empty.” •$9.38 million to renovate a century-old train depot in Lancaster County, Pa., that has not been used for three decades.•In rural Wisconsin, 37 little-used bridges are receiving $15.8 million in stimulus funds. According to the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel, “The 37 bridges average 568 vehicles a day.” Some of these bridges see less than ten cars a day. •Montana received $2.2 million to install skylights in their state-run liquor warehouse. •The $800,000 given to John Murtha Airport to repave a back runway. This airport services a whopping 20 passengers a day and has, over the past decade, already received millions in federal funds. Representative John Murtha treats this as his private airport and has spared no expense. •$1 million was given to a Chicago dinner cruise company to “combat terrorism” •The Coast Guard gets $572 million to create 1,235 new jobs. This comes to $460,000 per job. •$30 million for a spring training baseball complex for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies and $11 million for Microsoft to build a bridge connecting its two headquarter campuses in Redmond, Wash., which are separated by a highway. Instead of taking our money, why isn’t Bill Gates helping with a solution? •$1.15 million to install a guardrail for a persistently dry lake bed in Guymon, Okla. •$2.5 million in stimulus checks sent to the deceased •$6 million for a snow-making facility in Duluth, Minn. •Every project gets its own $300 road sign claiming: “This project was paid for by stimulus money.” Come on Frank...let the war go...right or wrong the world is a safer place now than it was before Saddam.

Answer:
we've had a national debt since 1820's. the only time we had a balanced budget, that i remember, is under clinton late in his presidency. furthermore, of all those states you mentioned - break it down to red/blue, or punish those who took money for pet projects.

What person in their right mind would Approve ANY of these things?

Answer:
Hopefully this will change now that we have a new House Speaker.

Why would they allow evidence in the casey anthony case if the forensic ssciencehas not been confirmed to work?
Question:
Read Below: The Anthony case introduced new forensic science that has yet to be peer-reviewed. The University of Tennessee's "Body farm" discovered "hair banding", a phenomenon in which hair roots can form a dark band after death. A hair found in the trunk of the Anthony car exhibited this pattern.[47] Air samples were sent to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.[47] Shouldn't the hair have been thrown out if they don't know if that really works yet? Also isn't hair already dead once it comes out the scalp which is why we cant feel it when it's being cut? In a series case like those are new dna forensics should not be allowed what if they don't know how to read it correctly yet?

Answer:
The Forensics worked. The Brains of the ones who should understand it did not thave the capacity to. I am proud of having been part of Research. I can report, that there is nothing as difficult as acceptance of new information by jealous Collegues. If we could do away with such behavior, we would have had a cure for Cancer long ago. Sharing is missing in the World of Research. The information the Prosecution presented was more than adequate. The brain power of the Receivers was insufficient or they just were too lazy to study the material given to them. Our educational system is failing all of us.
