Is this long enough? DON'T have to read it!!!!?
Question:
don't have to read it, just tell me if it's long enough for an author's biography! it has to be double-spaced for my project. Mildred D. Taylor Mildred Taylor is an African American author. She was born in on September 13, 1943 in Jackson, Mississippi. Mildred focuses her work on the struggles of the African American families in the Deep South. She then moved to the North do to the violence that had occurred in the Jackson area around September, 1943. Her father chose to move to Toledo because he had a large network of friends and relatives there. Even after their move, the Taylor family took car trips to the South, and Mildred’s experience of the environment provided the settings of her stories/books. In the South that the Taylors visited, segregation was a tangible reality. However, for Mildred, the racism of the South is also a place for family and community. The family theme is very important in Taylor’s books. Stories about her family (uncles, aunts, and great-grandparents), as told by her father. Taylor calls these stories "a different history from the one I learned in school" and credits her father's storytelling with her decision to become a writer. When the family moved into a newly integrated Toledo neighborhood, ten-year-old Mildred was the only black child in her class at school and realized that her actions might be judged as representative of her race. She was shocked by the "lackluster" histories of African-Americans which she found in her history textbooks. When she shared her stories with her class, the students and the teacher thought she was inventing stories. Despite the fact that she lived in the North, when a black student was chosen as the homecoming queen at Taylor's school during her freshman year (1957) many white students reacted with anger and even violence, reminding Taylor that racism was far from dead. Taylor attended college at the University of Toledo and spent most of her free time writing, something she found difficult, but at which she was determined to succeed. After college, Taylor applied for and was selected to join the Peace Corps in Ethiopia. Her father was both proud of his daughter and worried about her being so far away for so long. After graduating with a degree in education from the University of Toledo, Taylor accepted the Peace Corps assignment and taught history in Ethiopia. Upon returning to the United States in 1967, Taylor worked as a Peace Corps recruiter from 1967-1968 and as a Peace Corps instructor in Maine in 1968. In the fall of 1968, Taylor matriculated at the University of Colorado's Graduate School of Journalism. There, during the era of Black Power, she joined the Black Student Alliance and was instrumental in the creation of a black studies program at the university. After receiving her Master of Journalism, Taylor worked for the Black Education Program as a study skills director. During her involvement with the BSA, Taylor studied black culture, black history, and black politics. She was approached by Life magazine to write an article about the BSA, but the magazine disagreed with Taylor's portrayal of the organization and never published the article. Disappointed, Taylor returned briefly to Ethiopia. Taylor moved to Los Angeles after returning to the United States and worked at a number of temporary jobs. She refused a job at CBS as she grew more and more interested in writing. In August 1972, she married Errol Zea-Daly. The two divorced in 1975 and have one daughter. Taylor's first big break came when she won a contest sponsored by the Council on Interracial Books for Children. Her winning piece, Song of the Trees (1975), was a revision of an old manuscript based on a family story about trees cut down by money-hungry white men. Taylor had originally planned to tell the story from the point of view of her grandmother, but found it to be more successful when told from the perspective of eight-year-old Cassie Logan. Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, was Taylor's second book about the Logan family. Published in 1976, it won the Newbery Award, which recognizes excellence in books written for children. The book was dedicated to Taylor's father, who the characters of Stacey and David were based on. A television miniseries adaptation starring Morgan Freeman aired on ABC TV in 1978. Another Logan family book, Let the Circle Be Unbroken (1981), continues the story of the family's struggle during the Great Depression. The fourth Logan family book, The Road to Memphis (1990), revisits Cassie as a high school senior attending school in Jackson, Mississippi. Both books met with critical acclaim. A related book, Mississippi Bridge (1990), is narrated by Jeremy Simms, a white character from Taylor's earlier books about the Logans. Taylor's latest Logan book, The Well: David's Story (1995) depicts ten-year-old David Logan (Cassie's father). Taylor wrote two other books, The Friendship and The Gold Cadillac, both publi

What are you expecting from this film?
Question:
“A powerful story of family, friendship, love, honor and courage, End Of Watch stars Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña as young Los Angeles police officers Taylor and Zavala as they patrol the city’s meanest streets of south central Los Angeles. Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds entirely through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city’s darkest, most violent corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.” It sounds awesome. The film’s been written and directed by David Ayer, who wrote the Academy Award-winning Training Day, as well as co-writing The Fast and the Furious, and directing Street Kings, so you know his credits pretty much speak for themselves, which is why I’m so excited about this film. Any film led by Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña is going to be something to look forward to, and when you add David Ayer behind the camera and penning the script and Anna Kendrick as Gyllenhaal’s wife, you know you’re on to a damn good winning combination. Steve Weintraub, the Collider reporter who visited the set, said, “End of Watch is going to look and feel completely different than any cop movie you’ve ever seen.” And that’s such good news. It’s always great to hear of writer/directors stretching themselves to do things differently: “The film was shot with unconventional camera coverage. In addition to the normal camera set up, Gyllenhaal and Peña also have cameras strapped to their chest in order to get a POV shot. The actors operate the cameras themselves and have to think about the camera in terms of a character. The cameras are referred to in the actual film, as Gyllenhaal’s character straps a small webcam-like camera onto his chest.  The way they’ll get away with this is Gyllenhaal plays a cop going to night school and he’s taking a filmmaking class. So he gets Pena’s character to also wear a camera as he’s planning on making a short film (or something like that). Writer-director David Ayer is going for an “in your face” POV style.  At times it will feel like a first person shooter video game. In addition, the movie will use camera footage from unorthodox sources like gang members’ cellphone cameras, dashcams from inside cop cars, TV news footage, citizens’ cameras, and surveillance cameras.  However, at some points, the movie will look like your typical film with Ayer shooting select scenes with normal coverage.  He’s going to mix it up.  The thing to know is that it’s not all found footage.” BQ: Expectations for The Wedding? And all of the rest of the films De Niro has lined up.

Answer:
it seems pretty original of a concept and it will be cool to watch BQ- The Wedding actually has a good cast. and they filmed some of it about a half hour away from me, which is cool. ranking all of his future films: 1. The Irishman 2. Sinatra 3. The Silver Linings Playbook 4. The Comedian 5. The Wizard of Lies (Bernie Madoff HBO) 6. Being Flynn (aka Another BS Night in Suck City) 7. The Wedding 8. Red Lights 9. Freelancers 10. New Year's Eve

Have you ever met someone with violet eyes?
Question:
I know most people have not, and they say that violet eyes are extremely rare, but i just wanted to see if other people have seen them. Because I know I have, let me tell you the story. Okay, one day a couple years ago I was with my grandma at Bartell drugs, and we were waiting in line to buy our groceries, and I turned around to look at the people behind us, and obviously they were from middle eastern descent. They were a family of three, a wife and husband and a son. I looked at them longer and I noticed that the father and son had the exact same shade of violet eyes. In their dark completion, it was very striking and beautiful. I was noticeably staring and the wife just smiled at me, and I guess she knew why I was. My grandma noticed and looked to see what I was looking at. She also stared and grabbed my ear to her face and whispered "that boy has purple eyes". (let me say that my grandma is full cherokee and her tribe is from the south, so she talks southern). These eyes were amazing. So beautiful you would never have guessed. I only dream of having eyes like that. And I knew they were real. The color wasn't deep dark purple though, but a light lavender, but it was FAR from being mistaked from blue. When my grandmother and I went in the car. She told me all about Elizabeth Taylor and that she wanted to see real violet eyes, and that this experience was amazing. That was the story that I saw violet eyes, and i sincerely doubt they were fake, the father and son had the same eyes, the same violet eyes. Do you ever want to see violet eyes?

Answer:
i've never met someone with violet eyes but i would want to see someone with violet eyes :)

Answer:
1. Once I got so drunk I blacked out. My memory just cuts off after a certain point, so hopefully nothing bad happened before I woke up in my room the next morning. Hopefully. 2. No, I've never done something that I regret. Even drunk I think I still have enough sense to avoid things I normally would avoid doing when sober.

Becca was overjoyed she didnt even say yes she just nodded and smiled really big and kisses him. They dated for about a week until Josh broke up with her. He said he wasent ready for a relationship that wasent the real reason. Then Becca had a birthday party she decided to invite Josh and another guy. Becca flirted with the other guy because she liked him and wanted to see if anything would happen there. Well she came to find that Josh didnt like that very much. So they stopped talking for awhile. Then Becca finds out that Josh got back with his ex. Becca and Josh were bestfriends and they would always have each others back. Well they both came to find that they liked each other very much, but he loved his gf. His gf lives down south she used to live where Josh lives she is moveing back though. During these 5 or 6 mothes that she was gone Becca and Josh gradually fell harder for each other. They hung out everyday and everynight he would drive her home from school. They flirted a lot he would hold her all the time Becca started falling for him, but there was only one way to find out Joshs love for Becca. Becca told him how she felt and he had nothing to say about it. He was going to stay with his gf. Becca knew she only had 3 more monthes with Josh before his gf came and in the end Becca knew she was going to get hurt. So she decided to write Josh a letter and the letter explained how much she loved him and how she wanted to explore the world with him, but she knew she couldnt. She said she wanted what was best for him and she didnt want to get hurt in the end so it was best if they said goodbye right there and then. She put it in an envelope with a picture of him and her on it she kissed it put it in her mailbox and he picked it up. That night Josh called Becca and asked why are you doing this? Becca tryed to explain to him that she didnt want to get hurt in the end when his gf came. She could barely speak with tears running down her face trying not to let him hear her cry. She listened and started to here him cry. He told her he never wanted her to leave. They stopped talking after that for awhile, but they just couldnt stay away from each other then slowly they started to stop talking less for some reason. Sadly Becca fell hard for Josh and fell in love with Josh. When Josh and his gf hang out Becca is always out of the picture. He said he would always be her bestfriend, but hes not anymore. Obviously Joshs gf was more special then the special connection that Josh and Becca had. They werent just bestfriends they were head over heals for each other. No matter what Josh said. He taught her how to drive took her to her first bonfire danced with her in his car. Cuddled with her. Held her when she cried. Went to parties with her. They did everything together until the end. Becca knows everything about him what he wants to do in life what he wants out of life. He loves dogs his favorite colors blue. Becca would do anything for him, but he dosent see that she loves him. He also dosent see that maybe he loves her too, but just dosent want to admit it. When he calls you belong with me by Taylor Swift plays on her phone she hesitates to answer it now because, she never knows what hes gunna say whether its do you wanna hang out? or dont call or text me for awhile. Miley Cyrus Goodbye"Suddenly my cellphones blowing up with ur ringtone i hesitate, but answer it anyway u sound so alone and im surprised to hear u say remember when we kissed u still feel it on ur lips the time that u danced with me with no music playing u remember the simple things we talked till we cried u said that ur biggest regret that one thing u wish id forget is saying goodbye".

Answer:
Pretty damn good and some very interesting picks, but not quite perfect. Still probably the best mock I've seen on Yahoo! Answers (besides my own obviously). The 9ers do need a right tackle, so Trent Williams isn't a bad pick (at least since Bulaga is off the board), but I doubt that they'd go with two offensive linemen in the first. My biggest problem is probably Dez Bryant falling that far. Maybe you're a Vikings fan doing some wishful thinking, but I would be shocked if Dez even came close to falling out of the top 20. Besides that my biggest problem is your complete omission of Eric Norwood and Sergio Kindle, who are two of my favorite 3-4 OLB in this class that aren't DE/OLB tweeners like Brandon Graham and Jerry Hughes (Kindle played DE at Texas this year but even in a 4-3 he'd play LB). Donovan Warren's okay, but he's mostly potential and I don't think he's worth a top 20 pick. Kyle Wilson might also be a tiny but too high but its not that bad. I love Sean Weatherspoon, but he really projects much better to a 4-3. He could be a 3-4 mike, but the Jets are more than set at ILB with Bart Scott and David Harris. Give them Norwood, or the best 3-4 LB on the board. Wootton (which for the record is how its spelled) is a nice prospect, but he's mostly all potential, and at that point they should go with Carlos Dunlap who's also all potential but at least he doesn't have the health concerns. Besides that there's nothing that bad. Gresham and LaFell are a little too high for me, but besides that there's not much else to complain about. Very solid job.
