Why is my 97 Honda Accord LX coolant gushing out after car is shut off?
Question:
I was driving home from Cape Cod, MA down to near east providence. My car was normal but then i heard a clicking noise in the engine. when i stopped, the idle stayed at 20K RPM. The engine light went on and then i saw a small amount of smoke coming from the hood so i quickly shut the car off. i checked under the hood and i saw coolant coming from under the Distributor which is where the inlet hose from the radiator and below is the outlet hose to the radiator coming from the head block. i cant see under there but i saw a stream of coolant coming out. everything looks sealed. so i turned the car back on and drove back home which was like 2 minutes away from where i stopped. i let the engine cool and then i test drove it to see how long until it started overheating. when i test drove it, it was fine. the thermometer gauge was at normal. so i went back home and turned the car off, open the hood. and then i saw a stream of coolant come out again. same spot. the radiator fans doesn't come on either. i don't know if the coolant got into the connection and fried it. could it be the thermostat? i have no idea. also the reservoir for the coolant overflow was sucked back up into the radiator. Any body have ideas?

Answer:
u have a leak in radiator , if, everthing looks sealed. have a friend with a flash lite watch the engine while u give the gas should be able to spot the leak. but u must repair the fan or it will over heat & crack the block.

Are these car expensive to fix?

My hubby and I have taken trips to Nova Scotia, St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and various other providences of Canada. Where should we go on vacation? Quaint, charming towns are a plus. Historical factors are good. Wine country with tasting/tours is always good. Suggestions are welcome! One of the most beautiful towns to visit is Peacham, Vermont. It is in the eastern part of the state. Cabot would be another great town to visit. Any part of Vermont from Burlington north would be worth checking into.

Northeast or California?
Question:
I currently reside in Texas, which makes me want to vomit. When I go to college, I will likely want to study in the same place where I'll be living, or at least the same type of place. I've always thought that I would love New York/New England a lot, and that I would hate California. However, I visited NYC, Boston, and San Diego this summer, and now it's a toss up. I liked that the East Coast is classy, that they have cold winters and snow, and that everything is very historic and elegant. If I moved there, I'd probably go to NYU for Real Estate, and then move to Scranton, Bridgeport, Providence, or somewhere like that, although my mind is open. However, California was also awesome. I love the people there; they're very free thinking and healthy (generally). San Diego's cool summers were delightful, but it doesn't snow. I like to drive (as opposed to public transport), and California is really big on the car culture thing. I like San Diego State, and would probably go there for Real Estate and work as a broker in the SD area. It's getting close to time to apply for colleges, and I need any insight I can get. For reference, I'm pretty liberal, gay, sophisticated, but still fun. Also, consider that I'll probably work as a real estate broker, and the markets are very different in those locations. Anybody have any experience to share?

San Diego is a great choice. There are very gay-friendly neighborhoods near SDSU. The real estate market sucks right now, but who knows what it will be like when you graduate.
