I drove my friends and my car broke down should they help me pay for it?
Question:
I picked up my old friend from his army base in Washington, PA about 7 months ago. I live in North Versailles, PA (about a 40 mi drive from Washington, PA), and while doing this my car engine broke down. Now my car was working fine beforehand and I only picked him up because I believed that if any thing would happen to the car he would help with the repairs. Now after my car broke down he told me that he would help fix the car so my question is this : Is he responsible to help with my car or not? Thank you

Answer:
Nope its your car not his so you are responsible for the repairs. Even if you let him borrow the car and it broke down while he was driving it the responsibility is still yours. Forty miles isnt enough to break down an engine. That means the engine broke down from all the driving you did before hand. Its just normal wear and tear.

True or False WORLD history questions?
Question:
Study guide thing... please help me with these questions? thanks (: Many Americans were able to purchase large ticket items such as cars, vacuums, and sewing machines because companies extended credit to them, allowing them to pay off the balance in increments. t or f? The Great Depression affected only the United States and was a direct result of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's involvement in the American economy. t or f? The United States did not join the League of Nations that was developed under the Treaty of Versailles, because Congress did not want America drawn into another war across the Atlantic Ocean. t or f? The United States Civil War began because of disagreements about slavery between the North and the South. The economy in the South was still based on agriculture in the mid-1800s and the slaves enabled plantation owners to increase their output and make more money. t or f? thx for helping

My family is going to France, and I need some help choosing where to stay?
Question:
My family and I are going to be visiting France next year, and are trying to find somewhere nice to stay. We would like to stay in Versailles if it is at all possible, however, we dont want to stay in a hotel (we would prefer a bed & breakfast, or something of the sort). There will be five of us going (all adults) and we dont want to rent a car or have to travel too far to Paris. We havent yet decided if we will stay directly in Paris at all, or just commute in, depending on where we stay. Wherever we stay however, must be in the north somewhere, as we will also be visiting Belgium and The Netherlands. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Actually Gary O, I dont think you quite understand what it is Im asking (I guess I didnt make it quite clear enough). We are planning on staying in separate places when we go to each country, and wee have been to both Belgium and the Netherlands before, without staying in hotels. Also, it would not be necessary for us to rent a car just because we stay in a B&B, and although Paris is expensive, it is doable.

Answer:
If you stay in a B & B you sure will need a car. You can research B & B's on the net. Paris will cost you lots and lots of money to stay there. I think you have a lot of research to do if you want to travel to all those places.
