Questions Related to oak, grove cars

Provided By Y! Answers

I live in Oak Grove, Ky on the KY/TN border. I don't have a car but NEED to find a job. Can anyone help me
Question:
Can anyone help me with transportation not only to look and apply for jobs, but when I get one, help me with daily transportation until I can get a car?? I will pay gas money and exchange services- babysitting, light housekeeping, that sort of thing. If you can help me, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!!! they have buses that run nowhere near where i live and cabs that are outrageously expensive.

Answer:
there is transit there.... www.clarksvilletransit.org the route 1 bus line serves oak grove and fort campbell. I'm sure you're not that far from a bus stop...

I laugh at Undercover Cop Cars in Texas?
Question:
An Undercover Cop Car is suppose to be indistinguishable right? You don't know they're a Cop right? But every UC vehicle in the state of Texas is blacked out from top to bottom, has powder black rims, and silver ball hubcaps. No that's not a UC vehicle. When I was in the Army stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Police in Oak Grove, Ketucky and Clarksville, Tennessee knew how to make a UC vehicle. You'd see a normal SUV or Car, had sports decals, those stick figure family decals, etc. Normal rims or big rims, etc. but as soon as you did something wrong, say speeding or changing lanes without a signal. BAM!!! All of a sudden that vehicle has flashing red and blue lights in the grill and front windshield. Texas Undercover Cops are a joke. I only point this out because I just saw a Undercover Texas Highway Patrol Vehicle pull someone over. They had no visible markers showing them as a officer of the law except for the flashing lights and silver ball hubcaps. What UC's like in your state?

Answer:
So you laugh at cop cars. What, do you think that makes them feel bad? I'm sorry, but I am laughing at you. Are you some kind of gangster on the run, who thinks that all the unmarked cop cars are after you? Or do you think that being able to spot unmarked police cars will make you attractive to women? Since, as you so skillfully point out, these cars are not really undercover at all, what makes you think they are "Undercover Cop Cars"? I am sorry, but I have to conclude you are a miscellaneous idiot with his mind set to "blither."

Where should a recently pregnant wife rent if she will be working in Downer's Grove, IL ?
Question:
My wife is a recent Univ of Chicogo grad from ATL who accepted a job after her summer internship in Downer's Grove (DG). The commute from Hyde Park to DG was pretty long and not pleasant. To get her closer we considered setting her up in an apartment in Oak Park. The only problem at the time was figuring out where she could park her car. Now we just got the great, but maybe not so timely, announcement that she is 5 weeks pregnant. Now I am panicking because she starts work the end of this month and we will be separated during most of her pregnancy with me here in ATL. I am not sure anymore about her living in Oak Park and her lonely commute to DG in her car -- especially on winter days. I want her to rent in a safe place very close to good OB/GYN hospitals and doctors, and of course, good restaurants and shops. Parking availability for her car would also be great. Any recommendations? Help help help! Thanks."

Answer:
Oak Park is a fine suburb but parking is premium. There are a couple edgy neighborhoods to the east and south. It has 2 hospitals...Rush Oak Park Hospital which shares some physicians with Rush St Lukes...a top hospital. West Suburban is the other. Not far away is Loyola...another top medical facility. Close to Oak Park are Forest Park, River Forest, Riverside and Brookfield. The commute to Downers Grove from any of these villages would be between 25 and 40 min...mostly on Interstate highways...1 is a tollway (I-88). Downers Grove is not a bad location either. The hospital is Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital: http://www.advocatehealth.com/gsam/ Downers Grove is located on the BNSF METRA line which means that if her place of business is close to the METRA station she could possibly walk: http://metrarail.com/content/metra/en/home/maps_schedule s/metra_system_map/bnsf/map.html travel is easy from suburbs either west or east or Downers Grove. Very nice suburbs are Naperville and Hinsdale. Lisle and Westmont are okay too. These are all within 15 min of Downers Grove if she will be driving. Naperville, Lisle and Westmont hospitals: http://www.edward.org/body.cfm?id=160 http://www .cdh.org/ Hinsdale and Westmont: http://www.keepingyouwell.com/ahh/ * warning...Chicago and all of its suburbs is very unlike ATL. They all get very cold and a lot of snow. Roads get plowed but there will probably be delays. METRA has few delays.

What am I going to pay for sales tax on an auto in MO?
Question:
I just bought a brand new car for $13,000 (that's with the $1000 trade-in). I've been online and used their website to get an estimate on how much it will cost but what confuses me is whether the Counties District I live in is the most accurate or whether the City i live in is. It's almost a $300 dollar difference. I live in Oak Grove, MO and Sni Valley is the District (Jackson county). I really just need to know because I am trying to plan my finances so right now any advice or suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

What does your driver do?
Question:
When your driver is not in a race car racing or practicing what does he or she do to give back? Jr gives huge support to the Oak Grove Military Academy, replacing all the windows with better ones at the cost of like 900 bucks each, getting all the equiptment for them to have a football team, etc. supports our troops, and does several appearances. Not to mention promotes and helps younger drivers move up the ladder to success. I know most drivers pay it back/forward in one way or another. Just wonder if you know some of the things your driver does to do so. Maybe some wouldn't be haters if they knew what went on behind the scenes. Answer:
i don't know all the specifics of what the busch brothers do, but i do know kyle (and his father tom) run kyle's late model team for his company, kyle busch motorsports, and requires that his young driver learn how to work on his own car and other things like that to really understand how the pieces really work together, just as he had to do. i know he does many personal appearances at schools and children's homes, as discussed in an article in usa today: "[Kyle's spotter Jeff] Dickerson says what critics don't see is the driver he must track down because he's off buying a couch for a children's home, or that Busch committed roughly $500,000 to charitable efforts through his foundation in the last two years." kurt on the other hand, has progressed even farther with his charitable work. kurt donated over $1 million initially to the victory junction gang camp to build what became the kurt busch superdome - a 15,000 foot indoor sports facility that opened earlier this year. he also does the "ride with kurt for the kids" - an auction of rides with him at various tracks with all the proceeds going to his foundation. for his work, "Kurt received Official Certificates of Commendation from the offices of State of Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons and Second District of Nevada U.S. Congressman Dean Heller for his outstanding humanitarian contributions, both personally and on behalf of the Kurt Busch Foundation."

Answer:
There's a few that could go either way, but the main ones are, McFadden will go to Oakland, Clady to KC, Gholston to the Jets, McKelvin to New England, Ellis to Cincy, and Rodgers-Cromartie to New Orleans. Also, Aqib Talib and Jerod Mayo are too high, and Chris Williams isn't high enough.

Pretty good. My Bears picking C. Williams isn't a pretty or glamorous choice, but he should be a ten yr starter; be starting before halfway through the season probably. Email this to Mel Kiper Jr. see what he thinks hehehe :)

Answer:
Qbs always get drafted high, whether they deserve to or not, Matt Ryan to ATL New England has bigger problems than o-line, not mention that its a little bit of a reach for that lineman in particular New England might trade down and select a corner, to whom I don't know, however that is thier largest need, or they may just select the best availiable player Baltimore would take Ryan if he were there, if not, theyd probably take a lineman Buffalo needs a big wr to complement lee evans, an help thier young qb in the redzone, although they need a corner too so that pick is a toss up, especially since it isnt clear who the best wr and cb is The Texans might take a DE, maybe Phillip Merling seeing as they are trying to make the best D-line ever by drafting a d lineman 4 years straight. They already have Dunta Robinson and DeMarcus Faggins(Cbs). Tamps needs a Wr, Joey Galloway is 36 years old and even though derrick Brooks is too, I believe the WRs at this point are better than the Lbs Seattle>Jonathan Stewart SF for the 2nd QB in the 1st round! Flacco or Brohm

My Updated 2008 NFL Mock Draft: What picks do you like and what changes would you make?
Question:
MIA- OT Jake Long (Mich.) STL- DE Chris Long (Virginia) ATL- DT Glenn Dorsey (LSU) OAK- DE Vernon Gholston: (OSU) KC- OL Jeff Otah (PIT) (Will try and trade down if possible.) NYJ- RB Darren McFadden (Arkansas) NE- CB Leodis McKelvin (Troy St.) BAL- QB Matt Ryan (Boston College) CIN- DT Sedrick Ellis (USC) NO- LB Keith Rivers (USC) BUF- CB DRC (Tennesee St.) DEN- OT Ryan Clady: (Boise State) CAR- DE Derrick Harvey (Florida) CHI- OL Chris Williams (Vanderbilt) DET- RB Rashard Mendenhall (Illinois) ARZ- RB Felix Jones (Arkansas) MIN- WR Limas Sweed (Texas) HOU- CB Aqib Talib (Kansas) PHI- WR Devin Thomas (MSU) TAM- S Kenny Phillips (Mia) WAS- DE/DT Phillip Merling (Clem) DAL- RB Jonathon Stewart (Oregon) PIT- OL Gosder Cherilus (BC) TEN- WR DeSean Jackson (Cal) SEA- DT Kentwan Balmer (UNC) JAC- OG Brandon Albert (Virginia) SD- DE Calais Cambell (MIA) DAL- CB Brandon Flowers (VT) SF- DE/LB Quentin Groves (Aub) GB- Mike Jenkins (USF) NYG- Justin King (PSU)

Answer:
If Atlanta doesn't draft Matt Ryan then they will be the same as last year, maybe worse... I think Oakland will take Dorsey. Ryan Clady is a better player than Jeff Otah. Detroit has more pressing needs at O-Line and especially D-Line... Vikings will take a DE and it will either be Harvey or Campbell. Houston needs to protect Schuab and their offense will be great. Gosder Cherilus is their man. Tampa won't take Phillips, corner and wideout are much more important so I think Malcolm Kelly maybe who they target bc his tall lanky frmae and long arms complement Galloway's speed... Washington has to fix their WR problem and help take Jason Campbell to the next level. They will take Desean Jackson.... Jonathon Stewart is a power back. Marion Barber is a power back. This pick wouldn't make sense. If Felix Jones isn't there they will grab a WR and a CB. In this case they take Mike Jenkins. Pittsburgh will take Brandon Albert. He is versatile and would be a potential steal this low... Limas Sweed is destined to reunite with Vince in Tennessee.... San Diego will solidfy their defense with Dan Connor to shore up their inside LB position. San Fransico will probably go a different route but I like this pick. The only other guy I can think of to go here is Jerrod Mayo... I think Green Bay will take Sam Baker and make Rodgers' transition that much easier... Kenny Phillips will go to the Giants.
