Question:
Oregon State Police troopers and Umatilla-area law enforcement arrested a 25-year-old man last night they said was the driver involved in a hit and run fatal accident near Hermiston Sunday. Police said Luis Lopez Morales, no known address, was the driver of one of two cars involved in a fatal crash on U.S. 395 north of Hermiston. Police said Lopez fled the scene of the crash on foot. The incident began at around 10:45 p.m. when a 1993 Chevrolet Blazer with three people inside was traveling northbound about 1.5 miles south of U.S. 730 at a high rate of speed. Police said Lopez lost control of the SUV, crossed over the center line and struck a southbound 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with four people inside. They said Lopez and an injured passenger, Nolberto Gonzalez Nernal, age unknown, left the scene. Gonzalez was later contacted by police at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries. The man who died in the crash was identified today as Moises Arroyo Hernandez, 33, from Umatilla. Lopez was lodged in the Umatilla County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault, recklessly endangering and felony hit and run with an injury. He is also being held in the jail on a federal hold from Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The four people in the Tahoe were identified as driver Lidia Tejada, 39; passengers Jose Tejeda, 41, Alejandra Tejeda 13 and Nayeh Tejeda, 3. Alejandra Tejeda was taken to the hospital with serious injuries; all the others received minor injuries, police said http://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-northwest-news/index.ss f/2010/12/police_arrest_suspect_in_fatal_hit_and_run_near_hermist on.html%20

Answer:
Unfortunately we the tax payers will probably have to pick up the tab on that one unless that family had insurance. This is a great example of how our government has let us down. The madness has to end. Why are illegals being given so many rights instead of being caught and shipped back to where they came from?
