What are some good six seater cars? Question: I am looking for an older car because I can not afford much. But the car has to be able to seat my three kids, my brother and my dog. It must also be able to get me to Lawton Oklahoma and back with no problems and must get good mpg. Plus I don't want it to scream old lady car! XOXO Answer: To get on an Army Post, you will need. 1. Drivers license 2. Car registration 3. Proof of insurance You have to stop at ther Post vistor center ( the main gate ) to pick up a vistor pass. All they are gonna ask, is where on Post you are going and why. |

can a car dealership stop employee's from smoking while at work? Question: i live in lawton oklahoma and the managers are trying to say that no employee is allowed to smoke on the property but customers can . i need to know if that's legal. if it's not legal then i need to know where to find the information that proves it.( this is a privately owned dealership) Answer: There are no laws prohibiting that. did you know that the new car (the one that plus in to the wall) doesn't really save you gas? Question: the car that has the little plug with it doesn't really save you energy you plug it into the wall and it charges it... BUT in order for you to get some electricity you must use gas PLUS it doesn't really go that far... example: it takes about an hour for you to go to Oklahoma City from lawton with a regular car But with the electric car, it world take you three days... did you know about that? it's true... Answer: Useless in winter it has no heat. Electric car-FAIL |

Need some help with moving to New York.? Question: I'm planning to move to New York in July 2012 and I have some questions and will gladly take any advice anyone has to offer. =] I'm a 21 year old female moving to the big city by myself! I work with TSA and will be transferring to LaGuardia airport. Probably going to get a second job on top of that in New York too. So far I've looked into Astoria Queens as a place to live. I can probably spend up to $1200 on rent a month max! What are some good studio/1 bedroom apartments in Astoria to live in? (I don't need luxury, just a safe and decent place to live with easy access to public transportation as I will not be taking my car with me) Other than Astoria, where's a good place to live in that is close to LaGuardia? Apartments in those areas? What's the best and easiest transportation to use to get to LaGuardia 5 days a week. Also, I'm not sure how my work schedule will be so I may have to commute during very late, or very early hours of the day. I've read that carrying pepper spray, stun guns, ect. is illegal in New York. Can I get some sort of permit to do so? Once again, I'm a 21 year old female on my own, I would feel a lot better roaming around if I had something to possibly help protect me if need be. What's the cheapest way to move my things. I don't have much except a room to move really, but I obviously can't bring my bed, shelves, and household items on the plane with me. lol So anyone know a cheap moving company, or should I just drive a u-haul, or what? BTW I live in an awful place called Lawton, Oklahoma =P So it would be a very very long drive to New York from here. I'm well aware of how expensive New York is but I refuse to live in this dump! Answer: New York is not what you expect it to be =[ jobs are very hard to come by and the only way to get to laguardia airport is by taking the 4 train to 125st and then taking a bus,also the fare is going up to 2.50 and the monthly metro card (30 day unlimited rides) is already $104 and is going up in January! The food is also expensive in some parts and stay away from ghetto neighborhoods in Brooklyn and queens,from when I visited over there,everything is far =[ but the fast food is great! And rent is really exslendive in NYC =[ u might have to have a roommate =[ |

Question: Then straight to Boston, through connecticut in a bit of a zig zag, then New York City, to Philadelphia, then Baltimore, through Richmond, Virginia, to Chesapeake, straight to Charlotte, North Carolina, to Nashville TN, then Memphis, through Baton Rouge, LA, to New Orleans, straight on to Houston, then San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas, Up to Lawton, OK, Oklahoma City, Enid Oklahoma, To Albuquerque, NM, Mesa, AZ, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Stockton, Sacramento, Reno, NV, Portland OR, Tacoma, WA, Seattle, Vancouver Is. You see, I am looking where to go to college at. Plus, how much do you think it will cost? Driving all the way. My plan is to fly to Toronto from Germany, then get a drivers license and car there, and start on my way. I don't know where I'll stop, or where I'll end up. And, any suggestions of cool places to go while I'm in any of these cities. If you're just going to tell me its a stupid idea, then please refrain from leaving an answer. I'll probably stop for a few days in places that interest me, but don't count that in, just count in sleep time. I might pick up a friend in Lawton, so then we could take turns driving, too. I'm not sure if she's completely in though yet. i'm not gonna rent a car, i'm gonna buy one. thanks for the map quest idea though. this is actually less about college and more about where i wanna live, and work, where is the best place for me. and an adventure thing as well. three months seems a reasonable amount of time, i could hopefully figure out where i wanna be in that time and be there before school starts for the fall if I start early June. Answer: Problem number one -- unless you are 25, you can't rent a car. This type itinerary will take you a month just to drive it, three months to enjoy yourself at least a little bit. You need to go to www.mapquest.com and actually map out the distances and times. I won't venture a guess as to the cost. Gasoline will run $2.50-$3.50 per gallon depending on location. I think you need to narrow down your list of colleges and fly between the top three choices. |

Question: My brother is graduating from bootcamp on the April 28th and I want to go out there but i cant find any airlines that go to lawton and i also can't rent a car because I'm only 20. Is there public transportation from there? If I fly to Oklahoma City how can I get close to fort sill? Help Please I live in Chicago, IL. Answer: American Eagle flies out of Dallas-Fort Worth several times a day straight to the Lawton Municipal Airport, and back. There are many taxi services that can get you to the graduation ceremony as well. I NEED TO RENT A CAR AND IM 20, PLEASE HELP ME? Question: I need...yes need to make a trip down to Altus oklahoma in december, I've got everything squared away, plane tickets, hotel. But I need a ride, I have a few friends down there but I can't count on them to drive me everywhere. Cabs take forever. And yes, I am quite aware that big name rentals won't rent to you unless your 21 or 25. But I am so desperate, I don't care how shifty the rental place is, I just need to rent a car. I just got off the phone Budget rental and they will only rent to me if I have a credit card. They won't take debit. I don't know if it helps but my folks are military, I have USAA coverage. Please, please help me. I'm desperate for anything that moves. If not a rental in altus, I'll take lawton and OKC. Answer: sorry about your situation, it has got to be very frustrating, but that is how rental companies are. I don't know if there is any place like this where you are located, but in Chicago, there are companies called rent-a-wreck, and other, similar names that rent basically old, or beater types of cars at low rates. I have never known one to require a credit card, just positive id, and the money to rent the vehicle, you might check your local phone book for similar types of companies, good luck, and thanks to your family for their service... |
