Make babysitting flyers using the computer and put them in the library, people's mailboxes, and grocery stores. Drum up more business and keep a notebook to schedule when you do get a customer. Culver's minimum hiring age is 14 with a workers permit. I called many stores because I am 14 looking for a job. This was the response they gave which makes me happy after looking for so long. Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring. What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at. Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.

How long can I leave my car on the side of the highway without it being towed (in Oklahoma)?

But the art world isnt allowing me a chance. I want to work while using my art skill but I dont know how about to do it? Ive tried to be postive, network, look on the internet, went to businesses, called businesses but no such luck. Living in Shawnee is tough for an artist. Most people say Oklahoma City, Norman, Edmond, or Tulsa is where the art community is at? But I dont have enough money to get there with my car? What shall I do?

Go down to the largest bookstore you've got and get a copy of Artist Market 2008, and start doing spot illustrations and art for publishers, magazines, etc. who list what they're looking for in that book. You can work from home with this kind of job and it'll still look good on a resume.

I currently live in Edmond, Oklahoma, just outside of OKC. Obviously the selection for cars here is not very good(unless your buyin a truck). I'm a young guy and am looking at buying a charger rt, used, with aroung 40000 miles on it for around 20 grand. I've looked online and in bigger cities there are plenty of chargers with those specifications yet there are none near me. I was seeing if it is a good idea to buy out of state? If so, how exactly does the process go?

It's not that big of a deal really. But if you find one at a dealer let's say, contact them via phone & talk with their finance manager or other manager. Don't talk with the salesman who just started selling cars there 6 mo ago. That ain't gonna work. I see this, you buy/finance the car in TX. When you drive the car home, you need to visit the OK dmv asap. Bring the bill of sale, finance company name address phone acct numbers etc... Proof of insurance is now becoming standard when registering a car so have that done in advance. Also, finance companies want a car insured before they finalize the approval process too. Then you pay all the applicable title fees, tag fees, & sales tax for you state. That can add up really fast so know what it is before you even venture out for the car. Anyway, the whole thing can go easily if you are prepared. Take it slow, no need to rush, the car ain't going anywhere. You can cut a deal for the car over the phone. Have the dealer in TX overnight the agreement to you so that you can get most of the insurance done before you leave home. Then overnight it back. This weekend go get it w/ a friend. Enjoy!

I was upset last friday and i was stupid to go over to his house. We were together off and on for 2 yrs he treated me bad called me names and hurt me with his hands. At your age, their are tons of places trying to rope you in with credit cards and just about everything else. They usually will give you a loan for a car because they have the title for collateral, if you don't pay, they come and get the car. I would look at what you can afford as a monthly payment and try to stick with that. You do not want to short yourself with what you need for cash flow during the month. You also want to check with your insurance company on what that will cost. Some cars are going to make your insurance rates go up. You have to figure that into your monthly payments too. Use a reputable dealer to buy your car, there are so many small corner car dealers that could care less about the car once you drive off. Granted there are some of these small dealers that do stand behind what they sell and give a warranty with them. Not all dealerships or finance companies are out to take you across just because of your age and no credit history. You have to start somewhere. When my son financed his first car, the bank gave him a car loan at 5% interest. Do your math, figure out what you will need every month and stay within your means.
