At 14, you don't have a lot of (legal) options. In Oklahoma, you can get a minimum wage job at 16, but you have to have written consent from a parent or guardian. However, you can do things like babysit, mow lawns, do odd jobs for people in your neighborhood, etc. Be creative.

Canyon outside Tulsa Oklahoma?

When I was little my dad took me to like this big canyon thing when we lived in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. I remember the car ride wasn't very long, less than 45 minutes. Does anybody know the name of this or where exactly it is?

The winters in Oklahoma are not as bad as Ohio, but they can be pretty bad. Oklahoma is cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and windy all of the time. The cost of living is cheaper, especially housing. OKC is a major city, and Tulsa is not small. You should always visit before making a move.

There's this guy I've liked for 2 and a half years, and he's amazing. He's one of the best people at math in our grade, he's talented in every sport I know of, he's funny, and kind. After 6 months of liking him, I got one of my really good friends to ask him if he liked me. He said no- at the time, we never talked except for maybe a couple hi's. After a year and a half after that, we were having daily conversations that were really long- although they were on online chats. He was starting to ask me personal questions, and he started to tell me more about himself. Once or twice we Skype called. I was really starting to think that he liked me, but I didn't want to get my hopes too high up. I got one of my good friends to tell him that I really liked him, and we didn't talk for a week. When the new school year started, I found out he was in one of my classes. We started to laugh a little and form inside jokes. We didn't really talk online but more in real life- though we said more online. When the new school year started, I found out that there was a talent show. My family really supports me because they believe that i have "vocal talent", so I sang a song with the kind of lyrics I would say about him. (Broken Arrow- Pixie Lott) He didn't show up to the show, and I didn't win either. I still was glad that I could make it through without breaking down into tears. We started sitting in the same area when the cars were picking us up after school, although we were sitting in different groups of people. He caught me looking at him a couple times, and I caught him looking at me a couple times, and one day we even took some pictures together- but of course with other people in the picture as well. But everybody in our school found out that I liked him- so the whole semester, I told everybody that asked if I liked him that I don't like him anymore. One day on a music concert for the school, a really good friend of mine had a really intense conversations about crushes. She didn't know that I still liked him- nobody did. She told me about a conversation with her friend and him- him as in my crush. It kind of went like this. ****'s friend: Hey, do you like ****? (the stars resemble my friend's name) him: no. ****'s friend: Are you sure? him: Ok yes, i do like her. but don't tell her- and my friend walked in, and he ran away. I teased her about it, to distract myself from the tears that started to well up in my eyes. When I got home, I went straight to my room and cried my eyes out.
