Who knows of bike paths in Westerville, Ohio?

I am a local Westerville resident and I am looking for a decent bike path to ride on. I know of a few around here but they cross streets. I want a path I can just get on and ride and not worry about cars, intersections, or stopping. I was told there is one at Alum Creek that goes to Easton with no stops, just a trail. Does anyone know if local parks have an outlining bike path?

Answer:
the one you are talking about. alum creek park to east is a very good path. it has some other paths jutting out from it, and some lead to road, but you can travel the whole way without crossing a road. about 7.5 miles each way. it is an MUP (multi-use path) so walkers and rollerbladers etc will be on there. all and all its a good path. if you want to drive 25 - 30 minutes to johnstown ohio there is a path that goes from there to newark. its about 15 miles each way and has almost no stops or road crosses. it is also very flat and almost solely used by bikers - my personal favorite. good luck and have fun riding.

I was having trouble with my car for a while.. It was having trouble accelerating and it was shaking out of control. I had made and appointment for it and on the way home after school after turning onto a 35 mph street I had to put my foot heavy on thr accelerator to get it to go. With the heavy shaking and focusing on the road i honestly didnt realize how fast I was going. I was going 50 for about 3 seconds before I looked down and immediately slowed down. That'd when I noticed the cop pull behind me. The mechanic did write on the bill that what's wrong with my car could cause low engine performance. I've had my license for almost a month and im 17. I'm getting an attorney but what can I expect in court and as a punishment? The worst i can get as a minor isnt a ticket, its my license getting taken away for 6months that im worried about. and my parents told me to drive it because they didnt think it was that bad even though i knew it was.

A lawyer would be too expensive and wouldn't really help much. The problem is...according to the law, you ARE guilty of the crime of going 50 in a 35. When you go, you can plead guilty, not guilty, or no contest. A no contest plea would give you a little more leeway. Plead no contest, bring the documentation from the mechanic, and (if possible) explain it not as a problem that has been going on that you would get fixed later, but a problem that just popped up that day that you just noticed and were trying to figure out. The judge might accept that and reduce the fine...though not fully relieve you of it. I had a similar situation once and got off with a smaller fine when I tried that. Hope it works for you, too.
