What is a cool place to have a class reunion? Toledo/Sandusky, Ohio area?
Question:
It's time to start planning and I would like to help, but I'm 13 hours away (by car) and haven't been to a decent party in that town . . . well, ever. We're trying to be reasonably cheap. It's our 15 year reunion.

Answer:
Maumee Brewing Co. A 4 story building with a brewery restaurant and club. They can probably handle the crowd. Actually it was the only place happening downtown Toledo after 10 last Friday.

help with a water ride at kalahari waterpark in sandusky ohio?
Question:
ok so im going there in aug and i want to know what is the tallest ride there. and what should i bring there also and i have another question too, so me and my friend are going so were like both 13 and i dont know wat to do on the ride there cuz its like four hours to get there and i dont know what to do on the way there and do they make laptop chargers for a car?

Answer:
Kalahari is a great park. Their coolest slide is the zip coaster where you sit in a boat on a conveyor belt. Then the conveyor belt starts very quickly and you blast off uphill. You continue in this Fashion of dropping then blasting up till the end. A couple other cool ones are the toilet bowl slide where you lay down and zip down a slide into a bowl, then plop down the middle, and a toilet bowl slide where four people go down at the same time! There is also a surfing machine and a giant inter tube slide. The others are normal body slides. I don't know the height, but I know they are all fun! Yes, is a way to do that. Look in my sources. I hope you have a fun trip, and be sure to visit Cedar Point!

Distance (on road) from chicago, IL to Sandsusky, OH...Has anyone travelled from chicago to sandusky to cedar?
Question:
point by car? How many miles was it? My family and I (3kids, 2 adults) are from Perth, AUSTRALIA..we are coming for a holiday/vacation in July this year we are not sure if we should hire a car in chicago and drive to sandusky, ohio (where cedar point amusement park is ) or fly to cleveland from chicago and hire a car in cleveland and drive to sandusky, Has anyone driven from Chicago to Sandusky? Cleveland to Sandusky? How many miles/how long did it take in the car? What airline (if we fly) is a safe airline in the US which is bigger than a 60 seater/embraer? I have looked up different airlines and most use only embraer aircrafts from Chicago to Cleveland. We have limited time (only 4 weeks in USA) Travelling to Los Angeles, Houston, New Braunfels (Schlitterbahn), Chicago, Sandusky, Boston, New York and Washington DC oh and possibly Las Vegas. What should we do? Please help! How many miles is it from Cleveland to sandusky, ohio by car? How far is it from Chicago to Sandusky, OH in miles on road? If you hire a car in chicago and drive do you go past cleveland or is it a different/more direct route to sandusky? Please help

Answer:
I recently took this vacation, I live right by chicago and I got there by car in about 8 hours. It will save you quite a bit of money to drive and belive me that you will be spending a lot of money once you get there :) mileage is 288.7 Miles and trip takes about 4 hours driving nonstop but I had a pregnant wife at the time that had to stop every 20 minutes It would be faster by car considering you don't have to wait to check baggage, board your flight, go to baggage claim then rent a car. Sure the flight my be only a couple hours but you'll spend longer in the airport dealing with security and getting and checking baggage then driving

railroad freight cars?
Question:
A friend of mine spottted a hopper with solar panels or what looked like solar panels mounted on ends of hopper car. Any answers for why the panels and use? He said hoppers looked like the same as coal cars and painted orange. The train was traveling north through Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Answer:
That is what is known as Herzog ballast hoppers, they are used for the GPS tracking system that maps out the route that the ballast is going to be dumped and it dumps automatically. It also knows when to stop dumping when it gets to bridges and crossings. Pretty neat technology if you ask me.

What would happen if a police officer stopped you and your car is insured but its not under your name?
Question:
Basically me and my friend want to take a road trip down to sandusky, ohio to cedar point. I use my sisters car all the time and its insured but techinically my names not on the insurance. Lets say i were to get stopped in the state of ohio (im from michigan by the way) what would happen to me? THank you!

Answer:
In Most USA states and with most insurance companies, if you drive an insured car with a valid drivers license and the owners permission, you will be covered under that vehicles policy. Call her agent and ask.

What are the best must-go to museums in the USA? In New York, Washington DC, BOston and CHicago?
Question:
Also, we are going to cedar point (family of 5). We will be taking the train from chicago to sandusky, ohio probably. We will then be getting back to Cleveland to fly to Boston (We are from Australia...going to the US for 4 weeks in US summer in July). We were hoping to instead of hiring a car to get to cleveland, we were hoping to take the amtrak train back to cleveland the only problem is it only goes at 12:00midnight and arrives at 1:00am in Cleveland. I looked at crime statistics for cleveland and it seems pretty dangerous. Is it safe enough for us (3 kids and 2 parents) to take that train and then catch a taxi to our hotel or motel for the night before flying to BOston that day? Should we hire a car and drive from Chicago to Sandusky so we can use the car to drive from Sandusky to Cleveland? With driving, travelling from Chicago, is Sandusky before Cleveland? On a map, would we pass through cleveland on our way to Sandusky, Ohio or not? How many miles with driving is it from Ch Chicago to Sandusky, ohio and also Sandusky to Cleveland? Is it faster to drive to Sandusky from Chicago than take the amtrak train? Would we be better off (time wise) to fly to Cleveland with continental airlines and hire a car in Cleveland, drive to Sandusky, stay a few nights (3) and then drive back to Cleveland, hand back the hire car and fly from Cleveland? Please help! Also, how much does it usually cost to hire a car each day which fits 5 people?

Answer:
Use mapquest.

Moving Question, Ohio to California?
Question:
I am moving to Los Angeles in August from Sandusky, Ohio. What would be the cheapest route on getting all of my stuff moved to LA? I don't have a WHOLE LOT of stuff, but I do believe I couldn't fit it all in my small car. If the cheapest route is to rent a truck, I do have friends who are going to make the journey with me who could drive. I would have them drive and put some of my stuff in there, but it seems to be easier just to rent a truck and have them drive and have me drive my car.

Answer:
I use to work at atlas van line, I dont anymore, but I figured out the cost of moving interstate is cheaper when you have a moving company do it. Uhaul and all the other will cost the same in the end and you will have to do all the work. You can rent a trailer and pull your stuff. Of get a plastic case and put your stuff on your roof. Or run an ad on the internet or OC Recycler for free and find someone who is going that way at the same time. I moved from Indiana to California and it is a long drive but if you have someone else to drive also you can make better time. And then just rest at stop areas, some state parks have showers. Have fun.

Math brainteaser, someone help?
Question:
An automobile dealer in Upper Sandusky, Ohio sold 60 cars during a six-day sale. Each day the dealer sold 4 more cars than he did on the previous day. How many cars were sold on the first day? I'm very confused can someone please explain how they get their answer? thanks for anyone that tries.

Answer:
ZERO were sold on the first day Let X be the amount he sold on the First Day day 1 = X day 2 = X + 4 day 3 = X + 8 day 4 = X + 12 day 5 + X + 16 day 6 + X + 20 Total 6X + 60 Therefore 6X + 60 = 60 X = 0 Day 1 sold zero, day 2 = 4, day 3 = 8, day 4 = 12, day 5 = 16 and day 6 = 20 Total 60 cars
