Answer:
These prices are OK if you are a beginner. For all that work I would be at $250 - 400 easily. And I don't do engines. Stay out of people's trunks unless they ask you to clean it. A lot people store stuff in their trunk they do not want inside the car. Ask the client first if they want the trunk done, then inspect it with the client and ask about any items that might need to be removed or handled by you. Engine cleaning is very risky even with normal precautions. If you screw up something under the hood, the problems are serious and expensive to fix. Headlight restoration is something I get $40 for as an option. I NEVER throw it into a detail for $20. I'd raise my price of the Super Detail to $200-250. At $170 you are giving it away. Funny you mention the polish specifically but nothing else. Most people do not care you will be using overpriced Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover (and, yes, I've been using Pinnacle products for over 12 years). That swirl remover is a little mild to use as a one step polish. For my one steps, I use Meguiars M86 or Menzerna SIP P083. A lot more bite, better defect removal, and they finish down nicely. Your prices are OK for a teenager just starting out but consider how you are going to raise your prices as you build a clientele and expenses rise. Also, where is your simple hand wash price? What about wash and wax? Those services are the most common and will generate you steady revenue between Full and Super Detail jobs.

Answer:
we really cannot tell you, but if you are already financially ready, then try this out. get a contract with some place like k-mart so you can borrow a small portion of the parking lot so you can detail the cars. set up tents and start business till you make enough to budget your own building and so forth.

I want to do a carwash on my own property will the city let me do this????????'[?
Question:
Hi, I want to make some extra cash by doing a car wash. What i planned was to put signs up around the city and have the cars pull into my driveway wash their car and they leave. it is the driveway to my house. Will the city let me do this? If you could look it up the city is Mentor on The Lake, Ohio. THANKS

Answer:
Cannot do it. You have to have a solicitation license and meet zoning requirements. If your house is zoned residential, you cant have a commercial enterprise such as a car wash on it....

Why do people assume if you are not preppy that you are uneducated and a drug addict/convict/etc?
Question:
I was wondering why we do this in society and I have two great examples: My mentor through my bachelor's degree program in psychology was a very, very smart guy. He had his phd in psychology from the ohio state university. However, anyone who did not know him from school would have thought that he was a burnt out hippie. He didn't have the "look" of a big shot at a big university- he looked like the comedian Tom Green with glasses and wore jeans and hawaiian shirts with red old school Chuck Taylor Converses. He was very smart and was cool, chilled out, and related well with all of the college kids as far as a mentor. My second example is myself. I am 24, have a good job, a nice car and am in my 2nd year of grad school. I, however don't fit your normal stereotypical grad student image. I have many piercings in my ears, I have my hair cut military short, I have 6 tattoos, I wear dark colors only, I don't buy expensive/preppy clothes and I like to listen to/go to rock/metal concerts. However, many people assume that I am just some deadbeat and drug addict who was lucky to get a GED, while I have a ton of talent/ability in the education world. Why do we do this? It makes very little sense if any at all

Answer:
We still live in a screwed up society where people still judge you for how you look is too shallow. We all know that looks are not everything. People tend to believe that the clean cut look priest who is molesting the altar boys as a saint because of his so called position in the society. You only have one life to live & you don't need others approval , how to live your life. Be happy , be confident & be your true self! You don't need nonsense in your life. If you accept yourself , people will accept you for who you are.

under what basis would i b able 2 sue 4 being falsly accused & charged w unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.?
Question:
SORRY FOR THE SLOPPY HEADING! i was arrested in ohio for unlawful sexual conduct with a male minor.. the age of 14 soon to be 15. i am 20 years of age and engaged to my girlfriend of 4 years. i simply was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and yes it did seem suspicious. yet nothing at all went on sexually at all, the teen is apart of a younger group of kids in which i mentor and act as if i was a big brother. so we meet on a regular basis. but let me tell u. 11pm is no time to be in a tinted car parked with one of them.. even if it is directly across the street from the residence. the police flashed me down. (i didn't have my hazards on but sitting on the side of the street with the lights still on in a ghetto was enough cause to look into it.) i told him he had to go so he wouldn't get in trouble, he proceeded to lean over and give me a hug from the Passenger seat. and then went for his door..thinking the flashing lights was a warning just to pull off the street of move i was wrong. i was taken in under know evidence, spent the night in jail payed 7500 10% bond and had to pay to get my car out. now im waiting on an inditement that was suppose to come after grand jury today. but it didn't go for some reason its still pending grand jury...this is a serious case, practically the rest of my life, i hope and pray it gets thrown out. i was told that the parents weren't prosecuting just the state was.. can someone please give me a little insight i just don't know whats going to happen next. my name was in the news paper, and also our city has this magazine called Busted" which is sort of an embarrassment tool i guess to make offenders think twice. now if my case is thrown out is there a possibility i can get contributions for libel or defamation or maybe even false accusations? I did Retain a 35yr experienced lawyer for the case. he told me that the case didnt go to grand jury as it was schedualed, its still pending. is this something good or bad..and what else should i look out for.. im so lost about everything going on

Answer:
A lawsuit against the police for a false arrest would require proving that they knowingly detained you on false charges, or that they acted in a grossly negligent manner. They appear to have been acting in good faith. You have no case against them. If the grand jury indicts you, you have no case against them since they are acting in good faith as well. Once you get arrested for an offense, it becomes a matter of public record and the news media may report on it freely. You have no case against the media. Pray that the grand jury does not indict you. If they do, you will be called into court for an arraignment. If you can't afford a lawyer, one will be assigned to you. From there you go on to a settlement conference, preliminary hearing, trial conference, and trial. You may accept a plea bargain at any stage of the process. It can be thrown out for various reasons at any point in the process. You will remain out on bond for the duration of the process. Either way, you will not get your $7500 back.
