what would be the cheapest way to move from minot, north dakota to yuba city, california?

I only have a small room full of stuff. such as a 42 inch plasma. 6 large speakers. some games. and a full size matress. i also have a 95 chevrolette beretta. would it be cheapper to rent a budget truck and tow my car, rent a small budget truck and drive my car, get a ubox or similar thing and have all my stuff sent there? also how much do you think it would cost total for the move?

Fit what you can if you car. Buy the mattress in California. If everything doesnt fit in you car either mail it, to your new address. Or if you can wait, wait til friends and family come and visit and ask them to bring you items, don't worry some will come soon.... to escape our harsh North Dakota Winters.

So im moving to north dakota and im coming from florida so its going to be a big ajustment. So im just wondering what the average temps are and stuff about north dakota that can help me prepare. Its just my 7month old my husband and I. Also is it true you get fined if you dont carry a blanket or something in your car?

You won't get fined. You could die, though, if you don't carry a winter emergency kit in your car and don't heed winter storm information. So it's a fine, in a way. I lived in Florida for 35 years, and I love it here. But I like cold weather and abhor heat. Winter will hit in September/October, coldest temps are in Jan/Feb (several weeks of below zero), snow is gone for the most part sometime in May. Summers are great, but sometimes very hot and sometimes cool like now. People take weather as it comes. Be aware, take precautions, learn to slow down. You'll be fine.

Living in North Dakota?

I joined the military a year ago and got stationed in North Dakota I really like it here alot! I don't mind the cold here because it gets VERY cold here. The summers here are so nice it never gets as hot as where I am from (small town in Oklahoma). I live in Minot. I love being able to not lock my doors on my car or house, not having to worry about crime and stuff. What is everyones opinion on North Dakota I just want to hear what other people who have lived here say also what do all you who have never set foot in the state think of it? what do you think when you think of this state?

I was traveling to North Dakota from California, when I got to nevade I notiiced the same vehicels from california with neceda plates. I didn't think anything of it at first, but I got into Montana and my brother was arested for a warent and I saw the same vehicels at the sheriff station with Montana plates. Then after I entered North Dakota and I noticed that there where a total of 10 cars circaling me. They would pass me get off the free way later and go the opposite direction, this went on until I got into minot witch ws at least 500 miles. they got gas at every place I did. On my way back they stoped in wyoming and I didn't notice it again until Corning California. There licensse plates changed a couple of times, one of them said circle 01. they followed me into Visalia and all went into the grocery store as me. I told them I ws going to call the cops and they still followed me home. they still pass my house every once in a while, how can I find out who ther are?

wow how scary, they must really think ou're a naughty boy. Hopefully if you havent done anything wrong or even if youhave, just lay low and ignore them, they might end up leaving you alone. Or you could also go to your local Sherrif department and ask to speak with someone.

what happens with a bench warrant?

Okay so my friend jess had accidentally wrote a nsf check, so she got papers to go to court and that was on the 16th and she couldnt make it cuz she has no car at the moment and she had no ride so she called and the changed it to the 22nd at 9:00 a.m and I guess she still had no ride and she didnt call this time so now i guess on the papers it said it was just a "misdemenor." given the check wasnt written for that much and I know her she did not purposely write and nsf check shes not like that at all never been in trouble for anything other then a noise complaint on account of her roomates. But anyways on the papers it said she could send a money order for the amount or show up in court and she didnt do neither because she doesnt get payed until the 1st of april. so shes freeking because she is going to have a bench warrant out for her and she is wondering what happens with a bench warrant...? I had no idea really. Because I had a bench warrant before for not showing up in court o paying a fine for a ticket...but they never came and looked for me but I always lived in minot,ND wich is a bigger city in North Dakota and they have bigger fish to fry then going and looking for people with bench warrants the only reason I ever got arrested was because someoone told on me wher I was at and the cops arrested me based on that but other then that i went a good 10 months with out. but she lives in a smaller town. I guess I dont know what to tell her?? I would appreciate serious answers only please and thank you.

Can't say about the state you live in or the town/city, but where I live, bench warrants are not pursued. But if stopped for a traffic violation of something ike that, they run wants and warrants on you and you will go to jail!
