What to do on a friday night in grand forks? Question: Okay so I am going to school at UND in Grand Forks, ND and it is balls to the wall cold out... and I am going on a date tonight with guy and we both are responsible for half of the date and his half is going sledding (yes that is a pretty good idea for a date in my mind), and my half was going to be outside as well but currently it is -15 with a -38 wind chill and tonight it is supposed to be -12 with a -36 wind chill so I don't think that would be the best idea. What do you think in this country for about eight weeks arrested yesterday possible vehicle break-in ? Question: Four men in Minot suspected of being illegal aliens are being deported. Kevin Bauman with the Border Patrol in Grand Forks said the men will be sent to Minneapolis, where they will appear before an immigration judge. The four men were arrested yesterday after reports of a possible vehicle break-in. Police found they actually had locked their keys inside a car. Officers said the four told them they were from Nicaragua and were living and working at the Sandhills Dairy near Towner. They said they had been in this country for about eight weeks. Maybe next time they choose to enter this country they can try to do it legally- what an idea? is there a way to disconnect the secondary air pump on a 2001 1.8t jetta? Question: ie; pulling fuse, relay etc. and will the car still run?? from what i have read it is only for emissions (which we do not do emissions testing here) and I really dont have the knowledge or the cash to perform yet another common VW repair. And as politically incorrect as it may be, Id rather live with the check engine light that fork out another grand on this car. Answer: You can take out the whole secondary air system and it will be fine. Your check engine light will stay on and throw the code. The only issue you may run into is the pre-cat O2 sensor, but if you don't have emissions it isn't that big of a deal either. That one will just throw another code. The air pump is electric, it doesn't run off of any belts. 42 Draft designs carries a SAI delete plug for the VR6, I am not sure about the 1.8T. If you cannot make it to your Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) office within this five-day window, you'll have to obtain a self-issuing temporary registration permit (SFN51429) from any law enforcement agency, dealer, or branch office location. Temporary permits are valid for 30 days. Registering for the first time also requires car insurance coverage. If you just purchased a used a vehicle from a private party or are transferring ownership for another reason, you'll need the following: The vehicle's title. It must have the sale date, seller's signature, your name and address, and odometer information if the vehicle is less than 10 years old. (You can obtain a duplicate title if yours is lost or damaged.) A completed Application for Certificate of Title and Registration of Vehicle. A completed Damage Disclosure Statement if the vehicle is less than nine years old. Payment for 5% of sales tax. Payment for $5 title transfer fee. Payment for registration fees. You won't need proof of a passed emission check, because the state doesn't require them; however, if you're registering at the same time you complete the title transfer, you may want to bring along a bill of sale, too.
