Depending on the parts you need, you should be able to find them at your local junkyard. If not, e mail me and I will see what I can locate for you.

Is this too much to ask for in a house?
Question:
My girlfriend and I want to move to North Carolina in 5 years. We want to live in the Charlotte suburbs of Huntersville or Mooresville. Our budget is up to $275,000, but we'd prefer to stay under $250,000. We plan to live in this house for the rest of our lives, we have both moved a lot in our childhoods and do not want to move again. Let me say first that the houses down south (we live in Michigan) are VERY well priced and you can get a LOT for your money. This is what we want: 1.) 4 bedrooms 2.) 2.5 bathrooms (prefer 3) 3.) 2,000-3,500 square feet 4.) 1/3 acre lot (that's common in those areas) for enough room for an above ground pool and a trampoline for the future kids) 5.) An open floor plan is a MUST. 6.) Big, open kitchen with granite countertops. Stainless steel appliances or black appliances. Cherry wood cabinets are prefered but we could "stain" them. 7.) A garden tub is a must have for my girlfriend. 8.) 2 car garage, 3 car is prefered for me. 9.) Fireplace And... I think that covers it! I've told people this before and they're like "Wow you expect a lot for your first home, that house your describing is your mid-career house". Is that really a lot to expect?

Answer:
I agree with the previous poster - you won't find near anything like that in your price range (unless its a foreclosure.)
