Will a Honda CBR250R last 18 straight hours of highway speeds?
Question:
I got the 18 hours from driving a car from Upstate NY to North Jacksonville, Florida. So, most likely, a motorcycle will be faster, and it won't have five people on it. The car driven was a SUV and had to stop every 350 miles for gas. A CBR250R would stop almost as often, I think. So, how much quicker would it get to Jacksonville Florida and would it last the 18 hours with maybe 20-30 min breaks on every fuel stop?

Answer:
Riding a bike will fatigue you more than driving a car, the smaller the bike the more fatigued you will get.. generally. .. other than fatigue, I see no reason why it wouldn't, that would depend on your upkeep.

Answer:
I just moved to NC in like April. I live in Raleigh. it is okay but u need to find things to do fast. because it is pretty boring. a much slower pace then up north. It drives me crazy. lol. it helps a lot to have a car or know a friend with one cause with out it ur screwed. From my house to the walmart is like 20 minutes. and im suposed to live in the city part of Raleigh. I been to Goldsboro. it is pretty boring to. Im telling you find some good friends fast who have cars cause if you don't your going to be bored to death. Hope that helped you out a little and didn't frighten you away. Oh and if you are from up north take caution to the country accent. it just about drove me nuts and they speak so slow.

Travel expenses and ideas?
Question:
I am wanting to take a trip around the USA. Trying to gauge how much it'll cost gas-wise. So I'll go from start to finish: Vancouver, WA south to about Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles, CA east to Jacksonville, FL Jacksonville, FL north to Boston, MA Boston, MA west to Bismark, ND Bismark, ND back to Vancouver, WA the total distance is about 9000 miles, because I do want to see some stuff while I'm going around.. my car is a 1988 Honda Prelude gets about 270miles from a full tank highway.. I guess I'm just looking for some estimations on gas and some MUST see sights.. I'm not too sure how much gas costs in CA or any other state so yeah.. any advice or ideas MUCH appreciated!

Answer:
due to the length that you listed, add another 1000 miles to take in side trips. Using 25 miles per gallon, gas will cost you about $1200 dollars. Today gas is averaging about 3.00 for the route you are taking. so far as what to see along the way, I do not know what your interests are and what you want to see. One suggestion is go to: roadtripamerica.com that have a good section of traveling...... Also if you email me some of your desires, I might be able to help a bit

What kind of legal recourse do I have?
Question:
I bought a car from a neighbor for $1800. They told me that the car runs perfect. That they had a mechanic inspect it. That transmission and motor were in excellent condition because the car had only one owner. I told them that I am going to school in Jacksonville (about 4 hrs north of where we live). They assured me that the car would make it and that there was nothing wrong with it. I took it for a run around the block a few times and it ran ok. I took their word for it because they were my neighbors and I've known them for years. So I bought it from them. A couple days later I got on the road to Jacksonville. I made it about 60 miles in and the car stalled on me. It kept losing power and cutting off. I winged it back to where I lived (driving 40 mph on the highway with hazards on) and it cut off on me twice more. I was terrified (mind you im a 25 year old student--female) So I took it to a shop and they said that the transmission is bad. I told them that the previous owners said they had all of that inspected. So I took it to another shop for a second opinion and they said the same thing. Plus a few other things that the computer was bringing up.I also had to put on 4 brand new tires because the others were all dry rotted. So anyway, i went back to my neighbors to tell them about the car. They told me to bring back the car and they would refund me the money. So when I went to do that. They flipped up on me and said that they weren't going to refund me my money because I bought the car as is. The got really nasty about it as well. I was just trying to go and get my money back like they told me to do...twice! They kept changing their minds. I understand that clause. But the agreement was that the car had been serviced and that it was working good. And that it would make it to Jacksonville no problem. They knew that the car was bad. And I've had a few other people come to me and told me that they had been trying to sell that car to them and they were told that the car was in good working order too. Do I have any chance if I tried to sue in small claims court? I just want the what I paid for it and the repairs that I put into it. What are my options? (if any)

Answer:
You bought the car AS IS so you need to understand that is AS IS. Your neighbor does not have to refund any money or do anything. You have the right to sell the car, repair the car, park the car, whatever you wish. You can sue if you wish... as soon as the Judge hears AS IS you just lost, you will be out the filing charges and still have the car. It may have run great for them without any problems but once you buy the car it is yours making no difference if they knew of any problem or not.
