How to go from Raleigh-Durham airport in North Carolina to Greenville East Caroline rather than renting a car?
Question:
I will take part a conference in East Carolina University from Turkey Istanbul. They say I must rent a car to East Carolina, which is 100 milles away to the air port. Yet I want to know my other options rather than renting a car, like taking a bus or train. What would you advice me on this issue?

Answer:
Renting car would be easiest. There is no train to Greenville, North Carolina. So, from the Raleigh/Durham Airport, you'd have to take a Triangle Transit bus to downtown Raleigh. then from there, you could pick up a Greyhound Bus to Greenville.

Data analysis - year 10 mathematics question?
Question:
As part of a "Click it or TIcket" campaign, the authorities or Greenville (North Carolina) sample a certain number of cars to see if all passengers are wearing a seatbelt. The current statistics are: Last month - 88% Record - 93% 1. Assuming that numbers have been rounded off to the nearest per cent, what is the smallest number of cars that could have been sampled to get the record seat belt use of 93%?? Please explain. 2. Similarly, what is the smallest number of cars that could have been sampled to get the previous month's seat belt use of 88%? 3. We know that the record is 93% and that last month the figure was 88%. If the same number of cars is sampled each month, what is the smallest this number could be? (This answer will not necessarily be the same as either of the answers from parts 1 and 2) . Please show your reasoning. Its confused the hell out of me and my son, any help would be appreciated.

Answer:
1) The smallest number of cars they could have found WITHOUT all passengers in sealtbelts is 0, but that would give you 100%. SO what if they found 1 car where all passengers weren't in seat belts If 1 is 7% of the total, then the total number sampled would be 100/7 = 14.285. If we round that don to 14 cars, then we'd have 13 cars where they're all in seat belts (13/14 = 92.85 = 93%) 2) Same logic - if 1 car is 12%, then they sampled a total of 100/12 = 8.333 If 7 cars were all belted (7/8 = 87.5 = 88%) 3) Little trickier here. If they always sample the same number of cars every month, we know N its at least 14, cos you need that many to get 93%. So we need a whole number N, such that there is a whole number of cars x, that gives 0.065=

Are there any East Carolina Univeristy students here?
Question:
ECU, a college in Eastern North Carolina, located in Greenville. I'm going there next year and am just curious to see if there are any students from there on here. I would like to know what you think about the campus, living on it your first year, and anything else you want to add. Also, did you drive yourself your first year or did you leave your car at home? I know they have freshman parking, but it is about a mile from campus and I wonder if it is just easier to leave your car home.

Answer:
that college is garbage. it s a tier 4 college.

Answer:
I am a Freshman at East Carolina now. I love it here so far. The campus is definitely one of the nicest around and rivals most schools in NC. I did not take a car down this year but I am next year. The freshman lot is about a half-mile to a mile away but if you decide to drive, your car will definitely be safe there. I have had a good experience living in the dorms at West End. Most freshman I know live over on College Hill but I think it's just as fun over here because I am about a 1 or 2 minute walk from Downtown and the Rec Center. East Carolina was a good decision.

College English Paper Revision Help Only 1 Page?
Question:
Could anyone help me revise my paper, make some changes, find grammatical errors. The assignment was to write a one page paper on myself, why i chose this university, where i'm from, my hobbies, etc... Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot. As a freshmen to college I find myself waking up every night in a pool of sweat from the nightmare of climbing the biggest, tallest mountain in the world “Homework Mountain.” It’s constructed of piles of chemistry, biology, English, labs, and math homework. Eighteen years ago, on the unlucky day of Friday the thirteenth, I was given the name Taylor Young after my great grandfather. Even though I’ve completed eighteen years year of my life and a large part of my education I’m always learning new things about who I am as a person. I’ve been through a lot of good and bad experiences that have shaped my identity creating my individuality as one person. I was born and raised for the first year of my life in Gastonia, North Carolina which I have no recollection of. At age one I moved to another North Carolina city by the name of Hickory, an hour away from my hometown. At age 4 my parents divorced changing my life drastically. I was in for an emotional roller coaster as my parents both went through two additional divorces. New people entered my life and would unexpectedly vanish after I had already developed an emotional attachment to this stepmother or stepfather. Divorces alone have really altered my personal views and have had a tremendous impact on my emotional feelings towards other people. My hobbies today include hanging out with friends, driving fast cars, hunting, and anything that involves an insane adrenaline rush. In many aspects I’m just your average teenager but I do have my unique characteristics and habits. I received two letters of acceptance to college from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. The day I proclaimed I would commit to East Carolina University was the day my father announced he was retiring and moving to Boone. For me, part of going off to college was to get away from home and my parents, not move closer. Ultimately my decision resulted as an effect of my father’s decision. Now that I am in my new home at East Carolina I wouldn’t trade my decision for anything. Now all I can do is wait and see what the upcoming years have in stock for me as I travel down the narrow road to medical school.

Answer:
I will help you fix the grammar in these first two sentences as well in case you REALLY want to leave them in, but I do think they would be better left out. The dream seems out of place, messing up the flow of the paper, and is kind of irrelevant to the point you are trying to make. I will make grammar corrections as they are in the paper though. Any other suggestions I will mention afterward. During my college search, I received two letters of acceptance to universities in North Carolina, one from Appalachian State in Boone, and one from East Carolina in Greenville. The day I proclaimed I would commit to East Carolina University was the day my father announced he was retiring and moving to Boone. For me, part of going to college was to get away from home and my parents, not move closer. Ultimately, my decision was an effect of my father's decision. Okay, I went through and made grammatical corrections as well as altered a few sentences to make the paragraphs flow easier. Any words that were removed weren't necessary to get the point across and created a bump in the flow. Once you read it, you will agree. One tip I have for you is to try to avoid apostrophies except when refering to possession. For instance, "that's" should always written as "that is" in a formal writing. Also, do whatever you can to try to keep from repeating words too much. You see how I reworded the sentence about the acceptance letters. It keep you from saying University and North Carolina so much. Also, I switched the two sentences at the end of the second paragraph about your hobbies because just jumping straight into your hobbies after the divorce just seemed like you ran into a brick wall. Moving it after the characteristics sentence allowed it to fall in easier. I also added the "during my college search" to the beginning of the last paragraph, because it did not transition easily without it. Each paragraph is supposed to transition smoothly, and this little phrase allowed it to do so. Keep these tips and changes in mind for when you do your next paper. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I am a high school senior and am going to be participating in dual enrollment, what do I choose?
Question:
I have the choice of going to one of two schools: North Greenville or Wofford. My two friends who are also doing dual enrollment are going to North Greenville, and so are a lot of the kids from last years graduating class which I knew. I was thinking about going to North Greenville because their dual enrollment is 1/10 the cost of Woffords and I could save on gas by car pooling with my other two friends. The problem comes in that my Mom wants me to go to Wofford, she considers it a better school and says it will open up more opportunities. But I only know three people going to Wofford and ther is no guarantee I would be in classes with them or even see them. What should I do or how do I convince my Mom that North Greenville is where I would rather be?

Answer:
You need to do what you feel is right. If you choose a school based on your mothers opinion, you will regret. If you choose a school, because of your friends, you will regret. Choose the school where you will have the most fun, learn the most, feel the most at home, will be the happiest, ect. Do what YOU think is right.

Answer:
***I, personally, cannot help you locate your family, but would suggest that you go to Ancestry.com and click on the tab that says "Community" at the top of the page. Go down to the area that says "Message Boards" and post your search under the surname "Hodge" or "Hodges." There is a small chance that somebody related to you may see it. If not immediately, maybe even in a month or two. Keep trying different things like you are doing! The more sites you post your information on, the better chance you have of finding a link. Good luck in your search!!

If this is the last thing you do then please help?
Question:
I know this may seem like a lot to read, But can you just keep reading this. Me and my sister are both around the same age, (she'll be 14 next month and i'll be 15 in march). When we were younger we had the most terrible child hood. Our birth mom would beat us, and she would call us names and she was jealous of my birth dad. Me and my sister finally got adopted by our 'grandparents' when we were younger. When I was 7 and my sister was 6, around Christmas time my birth dad died. Everyone thought it was my birth mom, and we began to blame her. Were not exactly sure who did it, but I think the Corner said they found Poison in his tea, and that got us wondering. She moved to Greenville with my older sister who is around the age of 42 now, and my birth mom signed my two brothers over to her. She disapered for almost 7 years, and we just heard again from her last year. But then my mom that we live with now told us were not allowed to talk to her, nor see her. Anyways, almost a year ago my sister was on this online dating website and she met this guy, and they talked for a while, and she and he were long distance. He lives in South Dakota, and she lives in South Carolina. It took her over 3 guys to find out this guy she met off the internet, Nathan, was the one. That means that she dated over three guys while she knew him before she realized he was the right one. They stayed strong over the months. One day Nathan introduced me and my sister to his friend, named Dusty. They were both on there way to North Dakota, where Nathans dad lives. From then I started talking to Dusty. After not even a week Dusty liked me, and it took me almost the whole week to like him, because I thought he was the most annoying person I have ever met, but his personality was the best I have ever seen. We'll I dated some other guy and I knew Dusty was heartbroken, but then it took me these three guys to realize Dusty was the right one; Don, Chase, and Carl. Then I finally got the courage enough to break up with Carl, and I dated Dusty. We have known each other for a while, and so has my sister and Nathan. Even though we never met them before we feel like they have been in our life for ever. Me and my sister, Ashley plan to move to South Dakota in 3 years and 5 months and 9 days. (we have a thing on my sisters MyYearbook Profile that is counting down the days), and we plan on moving up there just for them. I know we may sound young, and most people will probably say, "that's so dumb!" and have weird comments. But we believe that it really can happen. We are saving up money until then for a car, some gas money, and money to get us up there. We know it will take a lot of effort, and time, but were willing to try. If you read this far, then thank you. I was wondering if you could tell me any website or something that I could maybe put this story on to maybe see what people would tell us to do? I have heard that some news cast things have helped people do this. Maybe they won't help me and my sister because they will think were young, but if they believe in true love, and hope then they will actually know this is something that we want. Can anyone please just tell me something to maybe get our story published on the Television or something so people around the world can maybe help out and see if we can actually have our dream. Were willing to give up everything we have for them, and we will appriciate if someone can help us out. Thanks a ton. Also, I know that was a lot to read. But just thank you for taking the time to read this. Everything I said was true. Love, Amber♥ Ashley♥ Dusty♥ Nathan♥

Answer:
Sounds like a wonderful dream, but I hope you know what you're doing, because I know people who have moved across the country because of their "feelings" and they ended up wasting a ton of money and moving back empty handed. You're only 14 for God sake, you barely hit puberty, yet alone falling in love and taking such a huge risk. It took me 2 years to fall in love with someone and I'm 23. Love isn't anything based on feelings, let me tell you. You might want to think logically about this. Sorry, as a concerned adult, I want you to be careful and don't be so brash. I guess you do have 3 years though, maybe you'll figure things out by then. Good luck.
