Should we travel with a 3 week old baby cross country?
Question:
Ok so here are the details. My husband is getting relocated for the military from Hawaii to Fort Drum (upstate new york watertown area.) I am currently 5 months pregnant with 1 1/2 year old twins. Our Leave date is Dec 10th. We are trying to save money by shipping our car (the other one the military pays for) to Colorado where we have some family and driving the rest of the way. My due date is Nov 22nd. Now I have a bad feeling of driving cross country with twins in Dec anyway, let alone with the addition of a 3 week old baby. I have many feelings on this issue but my husband is very sure that it will be alright. I was looking for some new perspective on the issue or feed back from those who have had done the drive in Dec or traveled with multiple children and a new baby. Ideally I would like to have everyone move earlier but the unfortunately the military won' offer any help with this issue(so says my husband). If there is any military reading this, do you know of a way to PCS earlier than the DEROS date, maybe due to a medical issue ? ( I know you can put a 4187, but at the same time we want to save as much leave as possible-Report date is Jan 10th) Let me know if you all need more details.

Answer:
Could you go earlier? You could put in a request, but I don't know what that would do (it's based on manpower and their isn't a spot for him yet they may say no).

Will supporters of illegals protest this-- Man arrested in Times Sq. probe fights deportation?
Question:
BOSTON — A judge on Tuesday scheduled an August deportation hearing for a Pakistani man arrested in Massachusetts on an immigration violation during an investigation of the failed Times Square bombing, finding that he has been living illegally in the country since 1991. Pir Khan, 43, of Watertown, was one of three men arrested last month as authorities followed the money trail in their inquiry about Faisal Shahzad, who's accused of trying to set off a car bomb in New York City on May 1. Authorities have said the men may have given money to Shahzad through a network used by immigrants without knowing how the money would be used. On Tuesday, U.S. Immigration Judge Matthew D'Angelo found Khan is eligible for deportation because he entered the United States illegally through Mexico in 1991. D'Angelo scheduled a hearing for Aug. 10. Khan's lawyer, Saher Macarius, said he'll argue that Khan should be allowed to stay in the United States because he has lived here for more than 10 years without any arrests and that his deportation would pose an "extreme and unusual" hardship for an American woman he married in 2008. Khan, a cab driver, was arrested on May 13, along with his cousin, Aftab Khan, and Mohammad Shafiq Rahman, of South Portland, Maine. All three have been charged with immigration violations. None of the men have been charged criminally in the Times Square plot. Khan applied for political asylum in 1994, but lost that bid to stay in the United States in 2007. He was appealing that ruling. His lawyer said he married a Lewiston, Maine, woman in December 2008. Macarius, who represents both Pir Khan and Aftab Khan, said both men vehemently deny having any connection to Shahzad. But during a hearing last month, an official from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said that Shahzad's cell phone number was stored in Aftab Khan's phone and written on an envelope seized from his possessions. An immigration judge ordered Aftab Khan deported last week. Macarius said he will appeal the ruling. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5ib_fj8 uy3L29st8d61Wk32WKV_JAD9G2N6S82

Answer:
Gee, an illegal immigrant tied to wanting to blow America up. What a shocker! Reminds me of that date, what was that date, oh yeah, 9-11. Maybe we should listen to all of the illegal immigrant advocates and offer him a path to citizenship....no thanks. Pir Khan and Faisal Shahzad are no different than many of the illegal immigrants that come from south of the border. They should all be considered terrorists. How is killing thousands of Americans annually not considered terrorism! Wake up America! Did you hear me? Wake up! Thousands of Americans killed annually by illegal immigrants. Figure it out already. If you support illegal immigrants, go explain yourself to the families and friends of the deceased. Go explain the Cost to Benefit Ratio to them.....how paying taxes used to support illegal immigrants and how rewarding illegal immigrants with citizenship is worth more than the life of their husband, wife, child, sister, brother, etc. Illegal immigrants kill....it's a fact. Illegal immigrant anchor babies kill....it's a fact. Neither, should be here in the first place!

Why are we letting terrorists immigrate to the US?
Question:
Isn't it time we just stopped letting these people immigrate to our country?? Why do we do this? We let them live and work here so they can try to blow us up. WHY? Answer:
Because of PC liberals we no longer have control of our own country.. Arizona can not make a law that is exactly the same as the federal law & enforce it. Why is that. They are only imitating federal laws and enforcing them and the feds are wanting to declare it unconstitutional. The country is in a mess & we are destroying ourselves. What a mess Britain must be with that human rights act, I hope they don't accept that in the US. P

Do U agree with the these Immigration arrests deserve renew call for crackdown in Mass & NY?
Question:
Federal agents conducted morning raids in Massachusetts and New York in connection with the failed Times Square car bomb, and two people were arrested, federal authorities and witnesses said Thursday. The searches were the product of evidence gathered in the investigation into Faisal Shahzad's alleged bombing attempt, but there was "no known immediate threat to the public or any active plot against the United States," FBI spokeswoman Gail Marcinkiewicz said. Marcinkiewicz would not confirm any addresses, but police cordoned off a small house in Watertown, a suburb about 10 miles west of Boston where a neighbor reported seeing an FBI raid. A Mobil gas station in Brookline, another Boston suburb, also was raided. The entrances and exits to the station were cordoned off by yellow tape, and FBI agents were going in and out of the building. Agents also searched a silver Honda in the parking lot, removing items from the vehicle and loading material into an SUV.FBI spokesman Richard Kolko said locations in Long Island also had been searched. Justice Department spokesman Dean Boyd said the two people taken into custody were being held on alleged immigration violations, but he would not provide more details. http://abcnews.go.com/WN/Blotter/wireStory?id=1063488 9
