Troy, New York, and the 1981 movie "Ghost Story"?
Question:
Do you know what part of this movie was filmed in Troy, New York? If so, do you know the location? I have heard that it was the part at the end of the movie where they pulled the old car out of the pond. I have been obsessed with this movie since seeing it in theaters at age 14. I have visited the locations of Woodstock, Vermont, and Saratoga Springs, New York, which were other filming locations for this movie. Thanks! Yes, I also put the question on imdb.com.

Answer:
So far, these are the only film sites I've found: Albany, New York DeLand, Florida Saratoga Springs, New York White River Junction, Vermont (The bus station and the Talley House) Woodstock, Vermont http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082449/locations I haven't found Troy, New York, listed in connection with the movie, but I'm still checking various sites. Here is a list of movies filmed there: http://www.imdb.com/List?locations=Troy,%20New%20York&&su bstrings=on From Wikipedia: Troy is home to many samples of Victorian architecture and iron work. The city has a large number of intact Tiffany stained-glass windows in original architectural settings.[5] With much 19th century architecture, particularly in the Central Troy Historic District, several major movies have filmed in Troy, including Ironweed, Age of Innocence, Scent of a Woman, The Bostonians, The Emperor's Club, and The Time Machine. There are many buildings in a state of disrepair, but community groups and investors are restoring many of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy,_New_York Is that your thread on the IMDb forum? That's one place I check for information.

Which 2-Stage Snow Thrower – Troy-Bilt, Toro, Ariens or Simplicity?
Question:
I’m in my first single family home and I need to purchase a snow thrower. My driveway is paved asphalt, 180’ feet long and one-car wide up until the 3-car garage. I live in central New Jersey and we get 25-30” of snow a year. I’ve decided that I want at least 26” but I like 28”. I prefer to purchase from a local shop rather than a Lowe’s, HD or Sears. Is the $899 on a Troy-Bilt Storm 9528 a good choice? At $899 it is certainly the price I want to pay but I am skeptical that I will get what I pay for. Even though they are more than I had wanted to spend, I’m considering the $1099 Toro 826LE, the $1199 Ariens ST1027LE, the $1249 Simplicity L9528E. If convinced that it is really worth it, I may also consider the $1399 Toro 828LXE. Am I really just comparing great machines that will all do a wonderful job or are there really some noticeable differences between them in terms of quality and features? Am I really going to notice the difference between the 26”, 27” and 28” path width? Thank

Answer:
As a former small engine mechanic I would suggest Ariens Toro or Simplicity, with Ariens being my personal favorite. Troy-bilt is made by MTD and not the same quality as the rest. Also I would consider a used machine, they really do not get much use as compared to a lawn mower. (my last Ariens was 30 years old) I have found craigslist being a good source in my area for used machines. most prices are half of new for machines that are 3-5 years old. If you only want new then i would avoid the big box stores like the plague, you are much better off with a local dealer. As for the width you'll never really see a big difference unless you go with a 32" machine

So My Ex I and I Decided To Be Friends but ......???ANSWER THIS PLEASE?
Question:
We broke up but we decided to remain friends. He came over to my place today it's been 3 weeks (mind u I heard through a mutual friend he was dating and driving another girl's car) So we watched the movie Troy (a great movie) One thing lead to another and we were kissing and all over each other. I DID NOT ALLOW him to have sex with me. When I parked in front of my house where I was meeting him his male buddy was driving the car (that I heard was his new gf car) they tried to trick me into thinking it was his friend's car. I put them both on the spot!!!They couldno't deny it because both of them got a ticket IN front OF my HOUSE on my ex so called new girlfriend's car !!!! I can tell her anytime she has a myspace page I know who she is. I told my ex I didn't want a BF but when he a girl (which he is still denying) I couldn't help but be jealous ? He told me his daughter and his mom misses me and I miss them...What should I do...I'm really not bothered that he has a new girlfriend... He claims it was his mother's car !!!!

Answer:
Well if he's lying to you, it sounds like he's missing you a tad bit. he's trying to make you jelous...talks about his daughter and mom missing you. I suggest you guys go out to lunch with his daughter and mom...something casual. and if he's nice there maybe you guys could plan a date and he'll fess up to everything! cause obviously there's still physical attraction between you too. No one would kiss during Troy otherwise ;)

Answer:
there is a few things that are off but mostly its somewhat good.long at number 1 isnt the right pick but at this point who knows.chris long wont fall that far down to 6th.and denver needs offensive line not defensive.and it dt if they do go in that direction.tampa wont go with jackson they dont need wr until later mayb 2nd round.phi isnt goin with phillips its not a position they badly need rather than wr.dallas they want an arkansas bak and with mcfadden gone its goin to be felix jones.san diego has one of the best secondary already and mike jenkins wont go to them.mayb to tampa or washington.

Answer:
I like everything except Mcfadden. There's a ton of speculation that since Al Davis always takes the flashiest player available, Mcfadden's the pick. Lane Kiffin has to know what he's talking about when he says the raiders might be looking to trade down or when he says that they're not looking for a running back. They have Justin Fargas, Dominic Rhodes, Lamont Jordan, and Michael Bush. They just signed Fargas to an extension and Bush would have been picked higher last year if he hadn't gotten hurt in his senior season. They will probably take Chris Long who is the best defensive player available (and arguably in the whole draft). Not to mention his pedigree from his father Howie.

Does this sound right and is there anything i can do about it?
Question:
I'm a minor who lives in auglaize county, ohio. I was in our neighboring county at a movie theater with my girlfriend who lives kinda far away. We went to the late movie and this sums up my night after the movie. The movie in piqua ended around approx 1:00 which suprised me being as it started at 10:30. So i brought my girlfriend home to her home outside of troy. While getting gas i decided that i had started to feel a bit drowsy and that i should stay away from the back roads i usually take on my way home from sidney and stick to 47 being as deer were likely abroad on the backroads. Taking 47 i sped up leaving a small town where the speed limit had been reduced. Focusing more on the twists of the road and looking out for deer, i wrongfully hadn't been watching my speed as closely. Being in my fathers newer car I was less familiar with the way certain speeds felt. In the midst of driving i noticed a car turning around which looked like a red sports car from behind. I wondered why the turned around as soon as they saw me. Being tired and spooked easily i kept an eye on the sports car. then i noticed the sports car had rapidly built up speed and was coming up on my rear end, almost dangerously fast. In fear of being toyed with by the sports car which i imagined belonged to a highschooler, I sped up concentrating on keeping the car a distance from me. As i came to my senses i noticed my speed was much too fast, and decided to slow down, to the speed limit, at which point the car caught up to me and suddenly turned on its flashing lights. I then wondered why a police officer would not immediatly turn on its lights when it had decided to turn around, and come after me. I felt almost pressured to drive faster being as the car was in what seemed dangerous persuit of me, and no lights My driving record has been clean thus far. I'm 17 8 months. Any idea on penalties and or cost of ticket?

Answer:
It depends on your speed, certain speeds change the tickets and the fines, you could get unsafe driving, pay a safe neighborhood fee, and the ticket....but because you are younger they may point your license or take it away...again it all depends on how fast you were going? tickets range anywhere from 100-1000.... but being young those points on your record will sky rocket your insurance at the least... When/ if you go to court explain to the judge what happened, tell him that you are really sorry, you are a good kid, student, and you normally don't speed. If this is a first time ticket they may be lenient and drop it.

Do you like l ads shown during the superbowl?
Question:
I like them here's a sneak peak of some: Take a look at some of the commercials that might air during Sunday's game. Pepsi: PepsiCo. will be the second-biggest advertiser during the Super Bowl with seven ads for the company's soda and snacks. The cola will be spreading its new slogan, "Refresh Everything," which resembles the logo President Barack Obama used during his campaign. One of the ads will feature singer Will.i.am. The company will also go 3-dimensional in one of its commercials. In a 3-D ad for SoBe Lifewater, the drink's popular lizards will appear alongside NFL stars and characters from the movie "Monsters vs. Aliens." The ad will reportedly feature the characters performing an interpretation of the ballet Swan Lake. Coke: Coke might have wrapped up the luckiest Super Bowl ad. One of the cola company's ads coincidentally features Pittsburgh Steelers player Troy Polamalu in a commercial for Coke Zero. While Coke hasn't released details of the ad featuring Polamalu, it is expected to be related to the 1979 Coke ad featuring the Steelers' Mean Joe Greene. Coke will also air two other ads in the second half. One will show insects trying to steal a bottle of Coke from a man sleeping in a park, and the other shows people turning into computer avatars. Doritos: Doritos will once again be featuring amateurs in its Super Bowl ad. The Frito-Lay brand received 1,900 videos from film makers all hoping to have theirs aired during the Super Bowl. The company picked five finalists: "Power of the Crunch," "Too Delicious," "The Chase," "New Flavor Pitch" and "Free Doritos." The videos are posted on CrashTheSuperBowl.com, where viewers can vote for their favorite. The winning video will be played during the game. Hyundai: Hyundai bought two Super Bowl slots. The company reportedly has four ads and its is trying to decide which two to air during the game. Among the finalists are one commercial featuring race driver Rhys Millen and one with cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Bridgestone: Bridgestone, which is also sponsoring the Super Bowl half-time show featuring Bruce Springsteen, will try to connect with viewers who are choosing to fix up their current cars rather than buy new ones this year. One of Bridgestone's commercials is said to feature Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. P.S-Go STEELERS! POLL:Spaghetti or Meatloaf
