Question:
Possibly in Lockport Union Sun & Journal

Answer:
You could contact the newspaper The Lockport Union-Sun & Journal Site Map Contact Us Diane Crowe, Publisher (716) 439-9222, Ext. 6233 Tim Marren, Managing Editor (716) 439-9222, Ext. 6238 Chuck Sanderson, Advertising Director (716) 439-9222, Ext. 6235 http://cnhi.siteencore.com/lockportjournal/auto_launch/index.html

IS IT AN AMERICAN INVASION ? What's going on, what are there so many Americans relocating to Ontario Canada?
Question:
Here’s a bit more info on what I mean: Three years ago I wouldn’t even see one American car in an entire year over here in the Kitchener-Waterloo region area, but now I see 2 or 3 cars a day with bumper stickers like “Don’t mess with Texas”, or “I am a grad of California State U” (together with 3 other stickers about the state he lived in, plus, the license plate surround was from a Honda Dealership in California, even though his plate was a new ‘Ontario’ license plate. ) All of these cars are now sporting Ontario licenses, but the dead giveaway is all the bumper stickers advertising stuff from their state ( such as the thing about the ‘Lockport Caves’, an attraction of Lockport New York ). I see so many cars with plates attached to the front of their cars with wire or zip-ties since their cars don’t come with front plate holders. Every car in Canada comes with front plate holders, so the only American cars don’t have them. I thought that maybe there was a big influx of used American cars, so I personally talked to 4 of the drivers with these plates on them, and every single one of them were Americans over here looking for jobs. They told me of how they were at their wit’s end and had been unemployed for many months ( one guy = 1.5 years) before finally giving up and moving here to get a job, all 4 of them ! So is this the main reason why our population is exploding and rentals are hard to find? Is it because we are suffering from a Massive American invasion ? ( I didn't notice this in the spring, and only a little bit in the summer, but now its fall I've been noticing it a LOT ! So, its just a recent thing happening. ) Albertans don't have front license plates; Cool ! (thanks for that info). Don't get me wrong, I am not against the Americans coming here, as far as I am concerned they are very welcome and I hope they enjoy their stay here. Its just sort of weird to be seeing so many all of a sudden, that's all.

Answer:
First of all, the Americans cannot remain. Canada does an excellent job of protecting the Canadian jobs it does have. Americans are sometimes asked when they enter Canada, "You do not plan towork or do a job which could be done by a Canadian ?" It is extremely difficult to emigrate to Canada if you area US citizen, especially now in a world recession. Secondly, you are seeing a number of Americans who are visiting because the economy is so bad that Europe is simply not a realistic financial option to visit for so many, and Canada, by virtue of distance, is. When the economy improves, this may change. Best wishes.

Answer:
Listening to your story is like a breath of fresh air. I mean its like talking to someone who has similar feelings as mine. Well.......one thing you need to remember is you cant relive the past, and you shouldn't. I know first hand what its like to miss the past and want to go back. But moving on is a part of life, plus medina Lockport will always be there you can always go back to visit. If you don't like NY just leave when you get the chance. But I say go see how you like NY. New experiences are scary but they are necessary as we get older. Plus your whole way of thinking may change once you get into college. You experience lots of new things. GET YOUR BUM TO NY! ASAP! It must be hard no one knowing your gay and you have these issues you need to discuss. Well I don't know you and you don't me but I always have open ears:)

I'm looking for a good independent car audio installation (and sales) shop in the SW suburbs of Chicago?
Question:
I want a shop with guys who know what they are doing to pull out and old radio from my father in law's 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 truck (its an aftermarket radio but he bought the truck as a repo and doesn't have the face), and put in a new radio for it. It needs to be done right and I don't want to deal with Best Buy or Circuit City. If you know somewhere in southern cook county (Orland Park), or Will (near Lockport), or even DuPage (especially Naperville), let me know, thanks.
