What are these mysterious cars I keep seeing on the interstate?
Question:
For awhile now I've been seeing some mysterious cars driving around. I live in Lordsburg, New Mexico and one day when I was traveling to Silver City. I saw 2 very strange black cars. They were very unique. They were sedans. At first I thought I saw a Mitsubishi logo on them. But I thought to myself it couldn't be. Then just this weekend I went to Las Cruces. On Interstate 10 I saw about 10 of those very same mysterious black cars again. They were all sedans and they were all black. I think I might have seen one with a two tone paint job of black on top and brown on the bottom but I'm not sure. What are these cars? I don't see the badge of any manufacturer on these cars. They look like they might be a 2010 or 2011 model. I thought they might be and Audi or Acura. Can somebody tell me what this car is so I can look up the name on Google Images to see if it's the one I see? Please help me.

Answer:
Black sedans.... That doesn't tell us much. Maybe they were test mules for future production cars. Did they look anything like the cars you see here?? http://www.bmwblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011-bmw-5-seri es-spy-shots_100231334_l.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog .com/media/2008/06/bmw.5gt1.kgp.ed_opt.jpg http://lexusenthusias t.com/images/weblog/07-06-12-lexus-lf-a-spy-shots.jpg http://www .vans-cars-leasing.info/images/porsche_panamera_spy_shots_2.jpg http://www.emercedesbenz.com/Images/Nov08/13_2010_Mercedes_Benz_E _Class_Convertible/13_2010_Mercedes_Benz_E_Class_Convertible_1.jp g They all have camouflage to hide what the car looks like

Why do American politicians say they want hispanics to assimilate and then run campaigns in Spanish?
Question:
I was born in the United States and my family has a very extensive history in the southwest, since it was New Spain. We speak both Spanish and English in my family, we vote, we pay taxes, we buy cars and houses, invest in the market, and we cling to our latino roots and culture as it's being ripped from our hands. People like Sen. Cornyn say things like, we must avoid the balkinization of America, and "THEY" must assimilate to our "ANGLO" culture... Being from Texas, he should realize that anglo culture is an illegal import. He tells us we all need to speak English, and yet on his website he has a Spanish translation for his page. What is so threatening about my culture to American men and women. You can't go to Arizona or New Mexico, or California, Texas, Colorado, Florida, or Nevada and expect it to be like New England. It's called New Mexico for a reason, and you won't find a New London here in NM, but rather Madrid, EspaƱola, Las Cruces, Cuba etc... What do you think?

Answer:
Politicians are sell-outs. I'm from Santa Fe, New Mexico, myself. From what I've seen, most illegal-immigrants are good people. However, the reason so many Americans are worried is because the immigration is going unchecked and unregulated. Although most illegal-immigrants are good people, it doesn't change the fact that they're spitting on our laws by coming here illegally. Also, not ALL illegal immigrants are good people. We need to be able to weed out the rapists, murderers, and drug dealers. We remember the demonstrations last year, when hundreds of thousands of illegal-immigrants, nation-wide were shutting down major metropolitan areas by marching with MEXICAN flags in hand. Many of these people are not loyal to our country and subscribe to the idea of Aztlan. Google it. Also, google "Plan of San Diego." This is why we're bothered.

Buying a car out of state!?
Question:
I would like to purchase a 2008 chevy malibu LS from a car dealership in El Paso, Texas but unfortunately I live about an hour away in Las Cruces, New Mexico so this is my first time buying a car and I have no idea how this works, how do I purchase an out of state car? Is there some special forms I have to fill out for it to be registered in New Mexico? And I understand I have to pay taxes on the car but which states taxes do I pay New Mexico's or Texas'? I am just really confused! I have never done this before let alone buy a car out of state! And anyone just maybe give me a simple outline of how buying a car out of state works? Thanks :]

Answer:
If your state and Texas have a reciprocal tax agreement, you pay the taxes at the dealership and they handle registration...if not, you will pay the taxes in New Mexico. At any rate, the dealer will help with these questions. It is not a scary situation at all and happens more often than you think. Good luck

Buying a new car from a dealership out of state?
Question:
I'm currently stationed (military) in NV, my car is registered in Texas (I am FROM Texas and plan on moving back within the next year) . We're ready to trade it in but we do NOT want to buy a car in NV, have NV tags OR pay to register in NV. I'm considering trading my car in New Mexico or El Paso,TX. What are some pros and cons to doing this? I do NOT care about Nevada's economy, I do not want to pay any more than what I already pay for my TX plates per year (64.75) and I will not live in NV by this time next year, but I do not want to wait any longer to trade in my vehicle. Since I'm sure someone will ask, I'm trading my 2005 Jeep Liberty (117k miles) for a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited. El Paso has MSRP at 19k, New Mexico (Las Cruces) 20k, NV is 24k. Its very easy to change your registration address for Texas! We've changed it with every move (lived in CA,NM AND NV with this car) it always come in the mail every year. And we where going to get pre-approved for a loan but ask the dealer to beat the APR (I was approved for 36k with 1.2% over 36 months. But I may call the bank and talk to them about this too. Thank you very much for the quick responses, I cannot wait to get rid of my old rickety jeep! 18 MPG and 4.00 a gallon is beating my wallet!

Answer:
Well... ive gotten over 5 car loans. The dealerships dont really care. Question is are you looking to take out a new loan? for the hundai? If you are taking a loan from a dealership, then they can arrange the payments no problem, if from a bank that could complicate the process since they have to find a way to get the dealership the check, dealer might choose to not even deal with an out of state bank. But im 90% you should be able to do the trade with no problem no matter where you are, as long as the dealership is big enough. As for the state in which you want to get your plates... i believe you simply need to register the car there... i'm not quiet sure but if you simply call any dealer they will be able to answer your question. Hope this helps.
