He takes the Peter Pan bus and the round trip is $50 and then needing $80 for taxi and then around $75 around there and stuff for food maybe more then that comes to $205 maybe more. Hi there, I had a similar problem when I was living in Kansas City. Sometimes you expect connections between major towns but it's not always the case :) You will likely have to either drive or take a greyhound changing at KC or STL. It's a LONG journey, so it's really inconvenient... You may also try oine of those private shuttle services that may be faster though more expensive. Good luck!!

Outside of London, Glasgow enjoys the most comprehensive, integrated public transport network in the UK. You would be far better off driving to a suburban railway station and taking the train to the city.

Refused to give me back my Beetle, told me they sold it before the deal was even final. bank turned me down because they felt I was getting a bad deal from them. This was going to be a cash sale also. I had bought 3 passat's from the same dealership and this Beetle. I was never treated like this before. Made me walk to the train station, approx. 1 mile away, which wouldn't have been all that bad, but I also have a heart condition. If there is nothing done about this, I promise you I will never buy another Volkswagen from anybody. The sales lady was very nice and professional, the sales manager was the problem. I, have a question. I was visting Springfield,il from Los angeles ca. new years of 2006. I'm sure someone out there has had this problem before. when someone that is in front of you and they are driving 3-5 mph with no turn signal on. i gently tap on my horn to let him/her know that others are on the road. It was just my luck that a under cover police officer was in another car when i did this. he never cited the other car for no use of signal. he told me it was against the law in springfield il to use your horn. and that i could have cause a road rage by tapping on my horn. I then nicely told him that i was not from springfield il and that i did not know the laws of il.rules of the road. he then said that was too bad and then hit me with a $75.00 ticket for unlawful use of a horn. i took it up with the citys attnys but was told pay or lose my license. so i paid What i would like to know is why do we have car horns if it is unlawful to use them. was i right or wrong. please help me.

That sucks. The cop was definitely being a jerk. Was it a city ordinance? I'm not aware of any law like that in Illinois State rules of the road, but some towns in Illinois have their own traffic policy. I just received two city ordinance tickets in a Chicago suburb for break lights and registration lights, even when I fixed the problem on the spot. Regardless... I use my horn all the time in Illinois, no doubt in the presence of police. The argument of being from out of town, unfortunately, wouldn't be a defense. "When in Rome, do as the Romans."
