What is the most EFFICIENT way to travel to South Orange NJ, From Newark NJ by Public Transportaton?

Newark and South Orange are separated by roughly 5 miles of desolate hell called the ghetto... My Girlfriend goes to Seton Hall University and I go to a school in University Heights, Newark. I need to figure out how to get there using public transportation seeing as how neither of us have a car on campus. Does anyone know what would be the quickest and cheapest way to do this using public transportation??? FYI a taxi runs roughly $30 one way so that's out. The method MUST also be reliable in that it has a set schedule and shows up on or close to that schedule. Thank you!!

Anyone make an Irish Car Bomb with orange juice?

A coworker of mine said that at the Chicago south side bars he frequented, a "Car Bomb" was Bailey's, Jameson's, and Guinness, but an "Irish Car Bomb" was all that, plus orange juice. Anyone else ever hear of, or have, this?

How would the addition of orange juice turn a regular car bomb into an "Irish" car bomb? Oranges and orange juice have nothing to do with Ireland. Oranges aren't native to Ireland and it's not an ingredient in any traditional Irish food or drinks. I could understand this being a "Florida Car Bomb" or maybe a "California Car Bomb." Maybe a "Citrus Car Bomb." But Irish? That doesn't make ANY sense. The reason it's called an Irish Car Bomb is because of the use of three Irish beverages: Guinness beer, Bailey's Irish Creme liqueur and Jameson Irish Whiskey. THAT is an Irish car bomb, and in my opinion the addition of orange juice would make it considerably LESS Irish. So I don't think your friend knows what he's talking about... unless he was messing with you or the bars he was going to were messing with him.

The Orange Line doesn't go south or west of Boston. The southern end is Forest Hills, in Jamaica Plain which is part of Boston (it does have limited parking but not a lot). It goes north to Malden, and some of the stations (Wellington, Malden Center) have parking garages, but this is north of downtown.
