Answer:
Not very long. We could bring them all back home AND $12 trillion in offshore accounts with the FairTax Act. H.R. 25 For those who don’t know about the FairTax, a little background: The FairTax Plan is a comprehensive proposal that replaces all federal income and payroll taxes with an integrated approach including a progressive national retail sales tax on new items only, a rebate to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue replacement, and, through companion legislation, repeal of the 16th Amendment. This nonpartisan legislation (HR 25/S 1025) abolishes all federal personal, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment, and corporate taxes and replaces them with one simple, visible, federal retail sales tax – collected by existing state sales tax authorities. The FairTax taxes us only on what we choose to spend, not on what we earn. It does not raise any more or less revenue; it is designed to be revenue neutral. The FairTax is a fair, efficient, transparent, and intelligent solution to the frustration and inequity of our current tax system. More details can be found at www.fairtax.org The income tax equation is income- taxes-compliance dollars = spending The Fair Tax equation is income = spending + taxes+ compliance dollars, so here we are taxed as we spend and keep the compliance costs http://wethepeople.org/wpblog/?tag=the-fairtax-act

How to shorten my speech?
Question:
I am going to present my speech this week, but when I say it, it runs for about three minutes and fifty-eight seconds. It's only allowed to go for four minutes. Here is a copy of my speech, any ideas on how to shorten it without cutting out any main ideas? I've already gotten rid of a lot, but anything to help would be fantastic. Thanks in advance. What do you think of when you think “good for the environment?” I used to think of something along the lines of using solar panels, driving anything but a car that runs on fossil fuel, and getting your energy from wind mills. Many of these ideas work on a small scale, but if we used them to power the nation, monumental repercussions would emerge. Since reading The Conundrum by David Owen, I have learned about the many bogus ideas created to help the environment and the importance of being informed. All energy comes from the sun; fossil fuel just highly concentrates that energy. When someone uses a solar panel, they have to live in a place with few trees blocking the sun, ideally a desert. Some people claim that they make money from their solar panels by selling excess energy to the electrical companies. But the average family has to use a third less energy in order for solar panels to supply enough energy for just their house, let alone provide enough to sell to electric companies. If the United States government installed large scale solar panels around America, they would reside in deserts, covering miles of nature with electric appliances. Using Solar Panels means that families would lose money, and precious metals would go to waste in creating solar panels that cannot even make an impact on rainy cities like Seattle. In order to stop using fossil fuels that cause terrible carbon emissions, the world has turned to electric, hybrid, and diesel cars. But recently, America has done a large amount of research in biofuels, fuels derived from plants, and how they could lower our dependence on foreign oil. The research also includes studies on how biofuels can lower carbon emissions because they only emit what the plants previously took in. Looking at statistics, researchers have noticed terrible repercussions of using biofuels in America. Matthew Brown, a former energy program director, states that “Replacing only five percent of the nation’s diesel consumption with biodiesel would require diverting approximately sixty percent of today’s soy crops to biodiesel production.” Now get this, university researcher David Pimental, claims that the ethanol produced from corn, yields thirty percent less energy than put into growing the corn. Essentially, the starving would get less food, and almost everyone in America would have to farm in order for us to rely mostly on biofuels. Currently many eyes have turned to wind power. It works well in small quantities, but it will never work well for a large country. Denmark gets about three percent of its energy from wind turbines, exporting the rest, and that method works well, most of the time. Three percent may not appear like a lot, but when the wind blew incorrectly in 2000, the Danish people had to import more electricity than they exported, drastically increasing their energy bill. Imagine if just thirty percent of America’s fuel came from wind. Even though America would use less fossil fuel to get electricity, America could go even farther into debt. In a world consumed by an energy crisis, people constantly search for solutions. When environmentalists tell them one thing, they start changing their entire lifestyle without realizing the environmental consequences of their actions. Sometimes environmentalists explain their ideas inaccurately. Every time someone tells you how to “cure” the environment, make sure you understand the penalties of those actions before you do them. I know that without reading The Conundrum I most likely would have never found out about the terrible ramifications of solar energy, biofuels, and wind power. Now make sure you remember this: saving energy in some ways does not necessarily mean that it benefits the earth or the economy.

Question:
this poem? how does it make you feel? in my small wire cage, I stare into the yonder, I pray I could have one wish, for I would wish for animal mills to be shut down.    In this small wire cage I receive no love, no bed, or no touch. Instead, I receive litter after litter, wires, noise, and malnutrition.    My children are my small sliver of joy, yet they are taken far to young, and they are sickly too. Their future is to be sold in a pet shop window. to die young. I cannot see, as my eyes are covered with blood and cherry eye, yet I still know my fellow prisoners share the same pain, because I hear there final whimpers, and their last hopeless cries.    My paws are bloody now. my cell mate gnawed them off, but please don't worry, I feel no pain. I am way beyond that now. I am forever numb. I overheard the men talking, they say I haven't had enough litters this year, and that another dog could have more. They are tired of my mess, of my whines. The next morning, I feel a rough hand throw me into a tiny brown shipping box. I see many others in the small box, at least 10. They all are in pain, they all wish this pain would end. The men take us to a busy road. I hear many things here. I hear cars racing, humans yelling, and trees shaking. I even feel a small breeze. Suddenly the men picked us up, one by one, and flung us hard into the cold street. I hear the drop of each dog before me, as I am last. It is a heavy thud, and I am terrified. One of the men picked me up by my scuff, and I was suddenly airborn. I hit the yellow lines, and I cried in pain. As I lie here, taking my final breath, I stare into the yonder, and pray I could have one wish, that animal mills be shut down. -emily thank you courtney. it is heartbreaking to know these dogs are stuck in mills. i dont know, too many trolls here, i suppose:/ hmpf:( ya prolly.:/

Is the grammar of my essay okay? HELP ME!?
Question:
The Industrial Revolution: A Better Future for America Prior to the industrial Revolution agriculture dominated the American economy. 98% of all people lived and worked on farms and only 2% of people lived in urban cities. In the 19th century the lifestyle of people began to change because new machines were being developed, more factories were being built and more people started to work in factories instead of working on farms. Before the Industrial Revolution life was very different. Hargreaves invented the Spinning Jenny, which could spin many threads at one time. Arkwright invented the water frames, which was a water-powered device that held more spindle and produced more thread than a spinning Jenny did. Cartwright developed a steam-powered loom for weaving cotton. All these inventions helped improve the textile industry to be faster and more efficient than before because they could produce clothes faster and easier than before when everybody had to make everything by hand. Samuel Slater's contribution to the textile industry was that he memorized the design of Arkwright’s cotton mill in Britain. Once he escaped out of Britain and into New York he went to a wealthy Quaker named Moses Brown who owned an inefficient cotton mill. Within a year Slater had built him Arkwright’s cotton mill from memory. Eli Whitney’s invention of the cotton gin transformed the cotton business by making it so workers could prepare cotton for shipment more quickly. Whitney’s cotton gin led to the spread of slavery because more slaves were needed to keep up with the increased demand for cotton. Slavery eventually led to more people working the fields and in factories producing the cotton products. Interchangeable parts was a revolutionary idea developed by Eli Whitney that meant that for a product, say a gun, was made from parts that were developed in factories and were exactly the same. The division of labor is splitting a production process across multiple workers, each performing a different task repeatedly rather than having a single worker perform all of the tasks. Mass production is the creation of many products in a short period of time using time-saving techniques such as assembly lines and specialization. 100 years from now I think we will wake up on Earth floating in houses, in the air. Our beds and tables will all float and we will get dressed by holding a ring over our head that is the width of us and dropping it to the ground and our clothes will just be on us. Sort of like magic. I think we will talk telepathically and when we need to use the computer all we will have to do is wave our hand in front of us and out will pop a holographic screen. We will drive our hover cars to work and we will walk around with our robot dogs, which can talk. Most of our jobs will be taken over by robots and all we will ever have to do in our lives is relax with our family and play on our awesome high tech toys. ---It's a horrible essay, I know that but whatever. I just need to know if my grammar is okay. Does it sound right? Is it in the right place? How can I change it? I really need some help here because I need to turn this essay in by 10:30am!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!! :D---

How do i publish a book? here it is....it isnt finished though. and do you like it?
Question:
Do you know where puppies from pet stores come from? Well, those places are called puppy mills. A puppy mill is based in a bad environment. The dogs live in small wore mesh cages, with a little bit of water and only a small handful of food each day. When it is time for breeding, 2 related or poorly bred dogs are put in the cages together to breed. They breed until the dogs are about to die. And when the people don’t want the dogs anymore, they kill them. I live in a puppy mill, and it is horrible. I am a mix of a Chihuahua and a pug, known as the Chug. I am a chocolate brown color. All of my brothers and sisters have already died. I’m the only one left, and the guy thinks it is time for me to start breeding, even at 2 months old! He shoves me into a cage with a male beagle. We are bleeding from being beaten and in these horrid cages. “We need to get out,” I say between yelps of pain. The beagle, Vince is my friend. My best friend, actually. “Yeah.” “I know, but how?” I ask. We just stay there. “Tonight. I have a plan.” “But it is night!” I say, and he nods. “Exactly.” When the horrid man has gone, we fight to get out. The cages are old and broken, so we get out easily, but with bloody mouths and paws. Other dogs and puppies bark as they see us leave. We run away so the man won’t come out. The next morning we find ourselves in a bush. We hear men right by us. We stay in the bush to hear them. “Can you believe it?” one man asks. “I know. The pounds are going to start killing the pooches right when they get them. Just like puppy mills,” the other man babbles. They leave after that, and so do we. There is an open field with tall grass, so I head for that, with Vince right behind me. The field is gated for most parts. In the gated place, there is a playground. Kids are there, and they are yelling, running, and playing. Everyone is doing that, but one. That one person is a girl, a girl with chocolate hair and glasses. She is all alone, reading a book. I accidentally bark, and she looks at me. “Hey there, little guy. Who do you belong to? And you too?” Vince is right by me. The school bell rings. She looks at us. “Sorry, puppies. I have to go. Stay here!” she runs off. We obey and stay there. “Do you think she will take us home?” Vince asks. We are rolling in the fields. I look at him, wondering the same thing. “I don’t know.” It has been a half hour, and the same bell rings. Kids rush out of the building with their backpacks and friends. Some are holding water bottles and lunch boxes. Yum! “Hey, puppies. Come here,” the girl says to us, holding out her hand. “Here, you guys look thirsty. She has 2 Dixie cups in her hand and a water bottle in the other. She pours the water. It is like Heaven. We lap it up quickly, and look at her for more. We wouldn’t dare talk to her. She pours more. We lap it up again, and she scoops us up. “My name is Erika,” she says. She walks to a red car. “Look, Mom. Puppies. They are strays. I saw them at break. Mom look they are bleeding! We need to help them.” “Okay, Erika. We will take them to the vet tomorrow, then to the pound,” the mom says, and she drives away with us. I squirm. So does Vince. The pound is going to kill us right when we get there! Vince feels the same. We arrive at the house, and it is magnificent. It is yellow with white trim and a white door. Erika picks us up again, and says, “This will be your makeshift home for now. Tomorrow we will take you to the pound. Somebody will adopt you.” I have a shrill look on my face. When we are in the kitchen, she gets two plastic bowls down from a cabinet and pours some cereal into them. We eat reluctantly. It is delicious! She pours more water. When she takes us up to her room, all we could do was stare. Her room was a dream comes true. All the walls are pink, except for one. One is a nook-slanted wall, and it is striped. One was pink, one was white, and one was green. Her bed is by that wall. She has her nightstand by her bed, her dresser against the wall right across, her closet to the left of her stripe wall, and her desk in the left side of the stripe wall. She pulls out a few blankets and four pillows from her closet. She puts a blanket on the ground, and puts the 4 pillows surrounding the blanket. Next she puts us in there, and covers us with another 2 blankets. We couldn’t let her take us to the pound. It would be the end of our lives! I yelp, and she looks at me. “What, puppy?” Erika asks. She is in her bed, reading her book. Her hair is in a ponytail. I needed to speak, and Vince understood what I was going to do. I jumped out of the bed. “Don’t get freaked out.” She dropped her book. I spoke more. “Before we saw you at your school, we heard some people talking. The pounds will kill dogs right when they arrive. You can’t take us!”

Ghost hunting question. NEED HELP?
Question:
Ok, so here's the story. About a 2weeks ago my fiance was coming up to my house to visit. It was about 1:30 in the morning or so. She went through the town of Edinburg, Virginia. She sees a woman in her 30s, beautiful long brown hair in robe with heels run across the road in front of her. She doesn't think too much of it but once she get's to my house she tells me what she saw. On the way back that night, she went back through town and saw the same woman again, same place doing the same thing. We give it alot of thought and eventually we let it go. About a week ago she was leaving from my place around 2 in the morning and she goes back through town and sees the same woman again, sitting on a bench. She does a double take and looks back in the mirror and she's gone. Same thing happend the night after, but she was at a different bench. Tonight we decided to do a experiment. I told her to take her cellphone and try to get a picture or video of the lady. She goes back into town and sees the woman. She goes to record on her cellphone and the video becomes corupt. She pulls into the gas station right next to where she sees the woman, looks again and she's gone. She comes back to my house and tells me what happens and so we come up with another plan. She goes back into town, tries ANOTHER time to get a video of her. She is shocked when she points the cellphone at her, the woman doesn't show up on the screen. She gets a few pictures, but the woman doesn't show up on them. She tries to get another video of her and her cellphone tells her the camera malfunctions and freezes the phone. She reboots her phone and tries another time and the woman runs off and disapears in the distance. She goes back to my house and on the way there is a mill " The Edinburg Mill" She sees shadows moving around in the windows. When she passes the cemetary located next to it, she has her window down and she here's a "swooshing" sound through the trees. I've tried to be with her when it happens, but we have no luck. It's like this woman only shows herself when its only my fiance. No cars are passing by at the time it happens. The woman acts like she is in her own little world. The bench she sees her at was covered with slush, being that we had some snow and it was very cold outside. I checked out the bench and there was no imprint or anything of anyone sitting there anytime before. My questions are: what can we do to get her on camera? I've heard infrared cameras or thermal imaging can help ALOT. Where can i find those for a good price. And the other probably MOST IMPORTANT question is why can she see her and no one else can? Since we've done ghost hunting in the past, we've come to the conclusion that this woman is a wondering spirit. We live in the shenandoah valley which is full of historical events. But this woman seems to dress in modern times. My fiance describes her robe sort of like a bathrobe, NOT TIED. When she sees her it is freezing outside and the woman depicts no emotions. She's either running or sitting on the bench without a care in the world. I've done some research and i'm beginning to wonder if this woman is a sign for her.. I dunno though, it's just a weird situation and i'm worried. Please help. if it helps, my fiance is 18, and I'm 22.

Answer:
Take a regular camera when you go out, see if you can get her through that. I suppose it's possible that she wouldn't show up on film. I don't think she's a sign for your fiancee, but perhaps a residual spirit. Enjoyed the story. Have ya'll taken other friends to see if they've seen her as well? My husband had a horrid 4 wheeler crash late at night as we were camping with a bunch of friends, we frantically searched for him for nearly an hour, and thought he may have gone off the cliff. Someone was leaving to where they could get phone service to call for search and rescue when he was finally found. He was found in an odd place and position, helmet off and placed deliberately. He said that an Indian girl, with a blanket wrapped around her, was standing in the middle of the road, he'd swerved to miss her, and he lost it. He said he remembered this Indian girl kneeling in front of him, telling him that he'd be alright, and she took his helmet off and held his face for a moment and then she was gone. He thought he was hallucinating the girl, and I did too, however, it didn't answer how the scene looked, we talked about it no more. About a year later, there was a quad victim brought to the ER, he kept asking how the girl was, they said there was nobody else. He started telling someone to go find the Indian girl. He was riding in the same area, described her just as my husband did. I tried researching, but can't find a thing about the area or any other sightings of this girl.

i need some question answered that's not on my court papers?
Question:
from July 09, 2007 I, Matthew Coles, have been the vicitim of abuse, conspiracy, and harrassment by the Caswell co. sheriff dept. and state judicial system. Their unending vendetta against me has cost enormous amounts of time, money, and stress. As a result of this injustice, my personal property was vandalised, and destroyed. District attorney told me that i would have to "take one or both charges" because he had the power to make sure that it happened. That's the reason i hired an court appointed lawyer they will take advantage of you.I tried to express to him that i felt like my civil rights had been violated to no avail. I feel that i am being unjustly harrassed by the people who have been sworn into uphold the law. I have written letters to the caswell co. sheriff dept.and the state bar, and judicial standards commission,DOJ expressing my concerns about this matter in hope of resolution. The District attorney has used his position and these charges against me to influence and manipulate my rights that i had against officer Mike New, Micheal Welch, John Pointer, Mike Adkinds and Gerald Brown and caswell co. sheriff dept. I aslo feel that my attorney C.Orville Light was incompetent in handling my case, and the state bar, judicial standards commission district attorney and the caswell co. sheriff dept. It is in my opininon that the Judge, Magistrate,District attorney have all acted and malicously and unethically in handling this sitiation. corruption and dishonesty should not be a part of our justice system. I have been threatned, and harrassed by these individuals. Also my rights as a citizen of this free coutry has been violated. It is another opportunity for caswell co. to justify their official officers to harrass me and abuse me. The mental anguish that i suffer from due to this case is unbearable. Every person is guaranteed the right to a fair trial, so what happen to mine? The casewll co. judicial system and the officers i have named have unlawfully used their authority to harrass and defame me. I've had my name in the newspaper, and my property searched with out cause ive been threatened, harrassed and slandered no citizen of this country should have to live with the stress, harrassment that i have endure.
