Is there a mandatory inspection for cars in Nashua, New Hampshire?
Question:
I have been thinking about moving to New Hampshire, Nashua to be exact. I was told by someone who used to live there that they have an annual mandatory full car inspection. During this inspection they remove tires and go through your entire car, practically taking it apart. All for an inspection. I am very curious if this is true or not. I can understand a typical auto inspection, but one this thorough sounds exaggerated. Hopefully someone has an answer for me.

What's the best way to get from NYC to Nashua, NH?
Question:
Trying to get to Nashua for a wedding over labor day weekend. We live in New York and don't have a car so car rental/public transit will have to work. Not having much luck finding direct routes though. Anyone know of something?

Answer:
Well, the BEST way would be a chauffeur-driven limousine, but I think you'll have to either go with a Greyhound bus, or, since that's not so cheap either, like $300+ bucks (see link, below), just rent a car. That way you can go at your own pace, in comfort, and even do a little sightseeing on the way back, too! Good luck!... ☺

Nashua Belongs To Jesus?
Question:
I live in New Hampshire and work in Nashua. I've been seeing bumper stickers on cars that say "Nashua Belongs To Jesus". I don’t live in Nashua, but if I did this sticker would really chap my hide as a tax-paying atheist. I basically read it as: “If you’re not a Christian, you’re a second-class citizen in Nashua”. Do the Christians displaying this sticker have any idea how offensive it can be to non-Christian citizens? Do they care? Or is that their intent? If they're simply proclaiming their faith, why not an "I Love Jesus" sticker or a Jesus Fish? Why does it have to be "Nashua Belongs to Jesus"? And believe me, I DON'T offend easily--I just see this sticker as the epitome of arrogance.

Cross country moving on a budget?
Question:
Hello! I am planning a cross country move from New Hampshire(Nashua, southern NH) to Oregon(Waldport/Newport, to be exact) I am currently working at Taco Bell (Just recently hired) and I hope to move in the fall. I am getting payed minimum wage, however I plan to transfer to a different Taco Bell closer to my destination. I am also planning to have my boyfriend (One of the two reasons I am moving) visit for about two weeks. And I hope to have saved enough money (About $1000) before he gets here so I can afford his hotel room for he time being. I'm still unsure about what ways I can go about this move without being financially crippled. I had hoped to get a small U-Haul truck so I can transport my things. (I travel light, I'll only need to bring my bed, car, blankets, and maybe like 5 or 6 boxes filled with my belongings) So I will have a job lined up when I arrive. I am looking for more insight on some ways I can do this and be smart about it. Anyone have any good advice for my upcoming plan? Thank you. <3 Note: My boyfriend will be coming in early July. So this visit will take a little more than $1,000 away from my savings to move. Also, keep in mind that we are meeting for the first time, sort of to test the waters to see if we can even stand living with each other.

Answer:
Very first thing I would do before you move is see how your boyfriend and yourself get along. There is a good change he might not act anything like he does online/phone. As far as the actual move I would try to contact Budget Truck Rental, Penske Truck Rental, & U-Haul to see who is the cheapest. But, with what your moving I would suggest selling/giving away the bed and putting the boxes in your car while you travel assuming your car will make the trip.

Hillary planting whole crowds now-What do u think?
Question:
Hillary has to rely on union activists from outside New Hampshire to fill out the crowds at her events. That’s what NBC correspondent Andrea Mitchell reported on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Monday. Mitchell said she was surprised to find at a recent Hillary Clinton rally in New Hampshire many attendees who were from Long Island and Upstate New York. NBC Washington bureau chief, Tim Russert offered more confirming details. Russert said he was attending a Clinton rally at Nashua High School this weekend and was stunned to find the school’s lot filled with cars bearing Massachusetts plates. (edited for space) http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/hillary_busing/2008/01 /07/62291.html Bush has spent WAY more on AIDS fight in Africa than Clinton did. I'm sure Obama will spend more than Bush.

Answer:
Doesnt surprise me really.... but her recent "coffee shop" public announcement turned a few voters her way after she got emotional. People were saying that she showed her "human" side. Im sorry but i still wont base my vote on someone who starts to cry. Her views are still not right for this country. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080107/ap_on_el_pr/campaign_rdp

I'm taking a ticket to court for a charge I did not commit, what should I do?
Question:
I was with my friend at around 9:45pm in downtown Nashua NH and he told me to change lanes. So I changed lanes but I revved my engine as I changed lanes because I like to hear my intake. Apparently the police officer who heard the intake didn't like it. He pulled me over and asked for my license and registration. I did everything you're supposed to do when you get pulled over. I'm also in the U.S. Army so I flashed my military I.D. when I pulled out my drivers license (I keep my military I.D. in front of my drivers license). The police officer told me he was going to write me up for reckless driving, which shocked me I was expecting a warning, then the officer said it was my lucky night so he was going to charge me with tailgating so I could get a small fine of $100. The only problem was I never tailgated anyone and I know the officer gave me the charge of tailgating to lessen the fine, there were no cars in front of me or around me at the time, I know this for a fact because I was at the front of the intersection at a red light when the cop pulled up to me so it would have been impossible for me to have "tailgated" someone. I'm taking this ticket to court but I'm not sure if I should go with the cop's fake story or to go with the real story of me revving my engine. I know the cop hooked me up with a tailgating charge, he knows I didn't tailgate anyone. I'm not sure what my story should be in court. I live in Massachusetts and this incident happened in New Hampshire. I can't afford a higher insurance rate I have to get this ticket dismissed. Please help!

Answer:
He cut you a break since he saw the military ID. It is a huge pain in the butt and takes more paperwork to process a service members ticket if he had given you a reckless. A reckless would have killed you insurance wise. I am military by the way. The officer did you a HUGE favor. Step into court and explain that you like to rev your engine and you will be toast as that will just back up the officer's story.... making you look like a putz. Just being honest soldier. As far as the tail gating thing the judge will believe the officer's testimony. So you have the ticket and own it. Maybe not right but you drew attention to yourself. Just be guilty and pay it. It will not impact your insurance much at all. Traffic school can alleviate much point wise. $100 is nothing compared to what could have happened. An aside is think next time. If you choose to move up in the ranks, have security clearances and all of that you need to think twice about this next time.

Answer:
if you go with the tailgating your insurance wont even go up. wreckless driving it prob will....no matter what there is no denying that you weren't wreckless driving, because obviously the cop pulled you over for it. so you have 2 choices. 1 go with the fake story, tell the judge your in the army and hope he drops it since it is not that serious, or 2 go with wreckless driving which is a bigger fine which the court will prob want to get some money out of that and will prob reduce it to another 100$ fine...having it get dismissed because you weren't tailgating is unlikely because the cop could easily say to the judge i was trying to help him out, he was actually wreckless driving then you will have to pay the full fine for the tailgating.
