What is the easiest way to get to Sun Valley, ID from Salt Lake City, UT?
Question:
I am flying into SLC for the new year and I am trying to find a shuttle or a bus that goes to Sun Valley, ID...I would prefer not to rent a car, but if that is the best option, I may have to consider.

Answer:
The easiest way to do it is to fly into Hailey ID and get a cab/shuttle from there http://www.airnav.com/airport/KSUN

What is a GREAT golf course in the Phoenix/'valley of the sun'?
Question:
I am down here in Phoenix for a little while and would like to know (on opinion AND experience/stuck in your mind positively) of which one course is worth a special trip. I've heard of all the top golf courses in Phoenix and read many magazine/biased reviews (Troon, We-ko-pa, Gold Canyon, Grayhawk)...and there are MANY others...so, THAT is the dilemma, and a good dilemma at that. This is a special round because after this I head back home to where it is colder and won't touch a club for at least another two months. However, I DON"T want to be swindled. I don't want to pay top dollar for a golf course and then realize it fell short of its price. I am 'reluctantly willing'/ financially wise to pay peak rates. I WANT a TRULY memorable golfing experience AND a place to recommend to my other business partners and friends when they come down here. Memorable as to mean everything from pulling up in the car to grabbing a beer at the 19th hole and tallying up the score. Unfortunately, I have no choice and will be playing by myself this time around, but that is not a concern. Again, my big concern is paying top dollar for a prestigious course, but feeling like they just want my dollar. Obviously, no one wants that and I don't want that either. Please, give me your helpful and friendly advice on a TRULY great course in the Phoenix area in terms of service, conditions, green maintenance, clubhouse/bar, and overall memorability. THANK YOU for your time and honest advice. :)

I am looking for a junk yard that will pick up my car and pay me !?
Question:
I am looking for a junk you in sun valley calif that will come and pick up my old car and pay me money for it. I want this done as soon as possible.

Answer:
Check the yellow pages of your phone book and ask around locally. Years ago I heard of junk yards that would pick up your vehicle and pay you $100, but in more recent years on the east coast, I only hear of them towing it away for you free. You could try selling it for a low price as is. I've also seen commercials for charities that will tow it for free and you can take the book value of the car off of your income taxes. good luck.

Is it worth it to keep this car?
Question:
My older brother never graduated high school. He went to the military, then was honorably discharged for medical reasons. He's had a car for years, and when he finally got back on course, he moved to Australia, leaving his car behind for me. It's a 2002 Mercury Sable LS, and I love it quite a bit. It's really fast, not quite like a Mustang or anything, but it's way faster than most people get for their first cars. It's also extremely comfortable, and looks good. Decent safety ratings, yadda yadda yadda lol. It was originally a great car, but there are several problems now. Looking at some other cars being sold locally, and cheaply for the economy lol, I'm thinking about losing my current one. However there seems to be some demand that I pay back $2000 to the company before I can legally sell it. So read the problems, please, and tell me your opinion if I should keep it or not. Problems: - A/C clutch needs to be replaced. 118 dollars. Until then, no A/C- a death sentence here in the Valley of the Sun. - Car frame bent from accident years ago. - Averages 12 miles a gallon now. - Needs new engine mounts... desperately. - Oil and gas leaking, not profusely, but at a healthy rate. - $2000 payment required before selling. - Costs us $300 a month- nearly as much as my mother's car, a brand new Hyundai Sonata '09, for crying out loud! - Tires need replacing... so do brakes... but they work well enough. - 125,253 miles totaled (just checked). Positives: - Nice ride, if fixed. - Really comfortable. - If I can fix the gas leak, it may get a few more mpg's out, not to mention if I got the A/C clutch on I wouldn't be dragging with all of the windows down. - Better than no ride to school, and far better than the bus (no A/C, but they won't even let you roll down the windows). - Keeping will prevent me from paying $2000, minimum, not to mention the extra for a new car ($1200 is the cheapest I've found yet). What do you think? My parents are supporting it as is, but if I sell it I have to get a job to pay the $2000. And my dad's worried about not being able to sell that piece of junk, especially if we fixed everything else except the frame.

Answer:
for all those costs sell the damn thing but if u want something to remember ur brother with...well then its worth the money right??

Can you suggest interesting places to visit via public transit or van/bus tour companies in Phoenix, AZ?
Question:
I no longer drive a car, but I enjoy exploring the area, and would appreciate some insight into places to visit in the Valley of the Sun. Thanks.

Answer:
I know there are tour companies that go all over Arizona. I'd put Sedona and Grand Canyon at the top of your wish list. There are numerous state parks and interesting things to see in Arizona. It's just beautiful. In Phoenix there is the light rail which will take you to the Heard Museum, Phoenix Art Museum and many interesting sites. There is a free trolley in Scottsdale which you should also use. It goes to old town Scottsdale, shopping malls, etc.

The CRAZIEST thing just happened!!!!!!!!?
Question:
This happened a few hours ago today. I was sitting outside the coffee shop with friends at a table about 10 ft from the street. The coffee shop is located here on Glenoaks blvd in Sun Valley, CA. Anyways we're looking towards the street and a car slowed down as it came our way. It was a convertible with the top down. As it slowed down the driver partially stood up while he was driving. He said hey really loudly while waiving at us. It was JAY LENO!!!! I was like WOW!! i felt like i entered the twilight zone or something. I looked towards my friends and asked them did that really just happen? I know this city is located next to Burbank, CA which is where his studio is located but still I couldn't believe it. He looks so different in real life. Much thinner! I thought he'd be in a limo or something with a bulletproof vest on. It turns out he takes his convertibles out for a spin regularly on Saturday afternoons. Has anything like this happened to you?

Answer:
Nothing like that ever happened to me, but I'd heard that about Leno before. I remember seeing a picture in the Enquirer or something, must be at least 6 years ago, he was at a gas station filling up one of his cars, think it was something from the early 1900's. >> After looking at the cars, I have a feeling it was a 1928 Bugatti, so maybe not quite early 1900's.

Smith & Wesson Knife Legal or Illegal to carry?
Question:
Howdy, Here is a Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Titanium 440Steel "CK42BS" Hammer Forged Surgical China, Designed by Morgan A. Taylor Knife. Here are http://img846.imageshack.us/g/img0955g.jpg/ pictures. If doesnt work please let me know how,(first time using yahoo answers). Also I live in Sun Valley, California,(Near LA). I am 18, Work part time with my dad, weld/car repair and part time school. Was just wondering if this is illegal or legal to carry on me, I also have its belt-strap Smith&Wesson case. Thanks in advance! http://img846.imageshack.us/g/img0955g.jpg

Answer:
It does not appear that this is a switchblade. It would thus be legal to carry folded in your pocket (it is not illegal to conceal it on your person unless it is locked open), or openly folded or locked open. From its length, it would be illegal to carry in a government building, school, airport. This is state law, there may be some local regulations (which may or may not be enforceable).

This I Believe Help!!! Please?
Question:
I believe in living life with gratitude. People spend their lives hoping and wishing for more. They don’t express their thankfulness for what they have in front of them. I was this kind of person until the summer of my seventh grade year. When I was around thirteen my family and me went on vacation to Tanzania. By living in Sun Valley, Idaho my whole life I never expected a life much harder than my own. We arrived in Africa on June 4 and begun our journey of this new world. We spent the first week on Safari exploring the new life around us. Then one day we arrived at a small village. We drove up to the tiny village of the Maasia where the young families waited for the strange people to arrive. They were wearing nothing but a cloth around their bodies, and most of them didn’t even have shoes on. Flies and dirt covered them in head to toe and all I could think was how unpleasant they looked, but they stood there with smiles on their faces waiting excitedly for our presence. I hopped out of the car with my family as we began walking around the small village. There were around fifteen small homes all in which were ten by ten feet big, and were made of mud and small sticks. Inside the small hut two small homemade sheets used for beds laid and a couple small eating utensils. After getting a small tour of the village we were introduced to the tribal members. My mother had brought along a small bag in which contained toys and other common day objects to pass out among the people. I received a couple of small toys in which I was planning on handing out to the children. Around six of the young kids from ages three to eleven huddled around me with excitement in their eyes. I began handing each one a toy and every time I placed the tiny object into their hand a hope and acknowledgement appeared in their eyes. At this moment I realized what kind of life I truly had. I had clothes to wear everyday, I had food to eat, a home to stay in, and most importantly I had a family that loved me, while some of these kids were raising themselves. With all of this, the young children of the Maasia still looked as happy so happy. At this moment I was grateful for the life I had. This experience made me spend my life looking at the world with a completely different meaning. Every time I receive something new I remember the children’s excitement over the smallest of toys, which makes me truly appreciate everything that much more. I believe in living life with gratitude. Any advice? Please help!! Thank you!!
