I live in Southern California, and I am sixteen years old. What do I need to go on a road trip to Montana?
Question:
I'm sixteen years old, and this Summer I plan on going on a road trip. I live in Southern California, and I'd like to travel to Missoula, Montana. The actual drive there should take about two days. Since I'm only 16, I know I can't check into a hotel so I plan on sleeping in my car. I was just wondering what I'm going to need. Where are good places to sleep in my car etc. Please no comments on how I'm too young to be going on a road trip. Thank you so much! :) Or maybe if you live in Missoula, what some fun things to do would be. Thanks! :)

Answer:
Missoula sucks, Come to Bozeman! Anyway, You'll need: Lots of clothes (make sure to bring Winter clothes, Montana's known for cold and snowy weather) Lots of money (gas prices are skyrocketing) Food Pillows and blankets for sleeping in the car (or a sleeping bag) A good book Your laptop (if you have one) Ipod & cell phone Hygiene items (Razor, Hair products, hair brush, deodorant, tampons, blah blah blah) A good friend or sibling or just somebody to travel with camera First aid kit Good places to sleep in you car: Depending on the type of car, recline the seat. lay across the back seat. If you have a car where you can access the trunk without getting out of the car, put all your luggage in the back seat, then make a bed in the trunk with pillows. You could make a bed on the dashboard. The ground is always an option. MAKE SURE TO CHECK ROAD CONDITIONS BEFORE DRIVING! If roads are under construction, or dangerous to drive on, you should reconsider your route. Hope I helped, Emma

Answer:
Have you tried craigslist? Here are a couple I found there. I'm not familiar with Montana so I don't know if these cities are close to you or not but this at least gives you an idea of what's out there. They are in varying degrees of condition, too. Not sure how much restoration you want to do or can do. 1968 Olds Cutlass Convertible $1495 http://montana.craigslist.org/ctd/1168161810.html 1972 Duster for $2500 http://montana.craigslist.org/cto/1170394742.html 1965 Catalina for $400 http://montana.craigslist.org /cto/1170397875.html 1979 El Camino for $2800 http://montana.craigslist.org/cto/1170269311.html Be patient and keep looking. essayy! help please!!!?
Question:
Below is an article you've already read in class.  Using the voice of an environmentalist & an animal rights activist, respond with an angry editorial & convice the readers of the local newspaper of your view point or opinion in a 5-paragragh essay . I SERIOUSLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DOO :( LIKE REALLY. AND ITS DUE TOMORROW! Facts On Christmas morning, a large moose came into the backyard of Ms. Terry Hangerty of 519 East Spruce Street in Missoula, Montana. The Moose pushed open the door of the back porch & began chewing on Ms. Hangerty's pile of dirty laundry destroying approximately 11 pair of underwear, 4 T-shirts, 2 towels & a pair of corduroy jeans. Ms. Hangerty discovered the moose while she was filling stockings for Christmas morning & immediately locked the door between the porch & the main house.  She called 911. Firefighters from the #1 Station on Pine Street responded to the call.  They tried to shoo the moose out of the laundry room without success.  The moose kicked at one firefighter who tried to approach it carrying a portable fire extinguisher.  The firefighter was treated for a bruised arm at St Patrick's hospital. Animal Control experts were then called in.  Before they could arrive, the moose exited the laundry room & disappeared up Orange Street.  The Police are requesting information about the moose's whereabouts from Missoula citizens.   The moose population of West Montana has been increasing during the past 5 years. A harsh winter has been forcing the moose out of their usual homes in search of food. Moose can be very dangerous & unpredictable. Moose are the largest members of the deer family. Scientists believe that Missoula & many other cities in moose country are being built in prime moose habitat. Encounters between moose & people have risen 500% in the past decade.   Interview with Ms. Hangerty “I had just finished filling the stockings of my sons Cleo & Nigel when it happened.  Cleo likes those chocolate Santas you can get a ShopKo & Nigel has been collecting Matchbox cars.  Anyway, it must have been about 6 AM.  I know, because the weather had just come on T.V. & it was still dark out.  Usually I go out for a walk at this time of morning.  You know, I've got to work off a few of these Christmas pounds.  But today, you know, I just decided to stick around until the boys got up.” “That's when I heard a noise.  At first I thought it was coming from the kitchen.  But when I went in there, I didn't see nothing, so I opened the porch door.  Lord, I about had a heart attach.  This big dark shape was just standing there.  When I opened the door, I thought it was a Grizzly Bear.  You know, those darned environmental extremists want them to live everywhere & I'm  sorry I didn't keep a shotgun after the divorce.  Then, I realized it was a moose.  It must have, you know, been a girl moose because it didn't have horns.” “Needless to say, I slammed the door & called 911.  I'd forgotten to turn the water off for coffee in all the excitement.  I hope I didn't ruin my coffee pot, because all the water had boiled away.  I turned it off.  Then, I woke the boys up to look at the moose.  I guess this is the closest thing to reindeer they are ever going to see!”

Where should I move in the United States?
Question:
Long story short, I'm a 19 year old student who is attending college online. I'm free to live anywhere in the United States and I'm READY to get out of my house and be free from my parents. I know how to live on my own and I have enough savings to do it. My only requirements are 1) that the area is closer to liberal than conservative 2) I'll be able to at least have a fighting chance of finding at least a minimum wage job 3) I won't be forced to purchase/obtain a car 4) The housing can't be RIDICULOUSLY expensive, and apartments must be available So far I've been thinking about Seattle Washington or Missoula Montana. Denver Colorado, Boston Massachusetts, or Richmond Virginia. Questions: 1) Any insight on any of those places? 2) Where do you live? Do you like it? 3) If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? If I stay home, I'll never learn anything. Just because something is hard doesn't mean it isn't worth it. If living on my own doesn't work out, I can absolutely move back home at any time. As long as I don't go into any sort of debt, what would I lose?

Answer:
You stated that you are attending college online. Now, are you actually going to try to get into a "physical" college? If you are, then I'll recommend that you apply to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Thus, live on campus or in the area of "The Fan." (The area west of VCU.) Restaurants are big in this area if you want to work food service. However, further west is Carytown and there are a lot of retail out there. Pay attention to the bus routes, because if you live in the wrong spot you will have to take a transfer and that will add a lot of time to your commute. The bus routes tend to go "out from center" rather than a common sense loop. I also like the idea of Seattle. However, I can not tell you much about the public transpiration out there as I've always driven. I hope that this helped. Good luck!

Is the former militia leader David Burgert who's on the run more likely to be a Right Winger or Liberal?
Question:
He was part of anti-government militia group and had a it out with cops LAST WEEK! so why isn't his headline news every day? ====================== Massive manhunt in Montana for militia head David Burgert; radical is armed, 'extremely dangerous' Montana authorities are on a manhunt for an "extremely dangerous" former militia leader who triggered a shootout with cops and fled into the wilderness with a cache of weapons. David Burgert, 47, a former head of a violent anti-government militia group, traded gunfire with Missoula County deputies along a logging trail after a slow speed car chase near Lolo, Mont., on Sunday, cops said. The Marine Corps dropout and backwoods survivalist started the 30-mile pursuit after cops tried to pull him over for driving wildly at a rest stop, authorities said. After ignoring repeated commands to surrender, Burgert pulled his Jeep Cherokee onto a remote side road and started shooting, cops said. Officers returned fire, but Burgert managed to flee into the woods on foot with a pack of gear, Missoula County Undersheriff Mike Dominick said. Source: nydailynews.com
