Question:
I live in capitoal heights maryland and dont have a car,so i would like to find a Drawing class that feachers manga and anime.

Answer:
I don't think any classes actually teach you to draw strictly the anime style, and rightfully so - what you can do, however, is purchase one of the many MANY 'how to draw manga' books. Search it on Amazon.com. That'll help ya.

I would like to buy a car from a auction i live in maryland close to district heights?
Question:
but how much should i save im hoping to get something for 700$

Answer:
$700 will not buy you anything real new at the auction, but perhaps something decent. I use to buy all my cars at the auctions when I lived back on the east coast. I miss that they don't do that out here, I really think everywhere should have public car auctions. There wouldn't be so many old cars sitting beside the road with sale signs on them. I am guessing you are new to car auctions if you are asking about how much to save up. I would suggest you go and watch the auction for a couple of weeks. I wouldn't just buy at the first auction I went to. One thing you should know about these auctions though is how to pick out a decent car. Many people will do some really weird things to a car to make it run and sound better long enough to sale it. Here are some tips. [1] look at all 4 tires, run your hand to the inside tread of all 4 tires. if they are not worn evenly you are looking at a car that is out of alignment. This is usually due to a hard jolt, like running over curbs and running it through potholes hard, or even an accident. [2] Before you ever look under the hood, look at the exhaust pipe. If you see water coming out [more than a drop or two] it has a bad head or head gasket. Hold you hand up to the exhaust while it is running, then look at your hand. A wet hand also means a bad head gasket or cracked head, oily residue means it has bad rings or valves, either way it means you need at least a partial rebuild. Smell your hand as well. If it smells strongly of oil or coolant don't buy it. If it smells of gas really bad means it is burning rich and needs some attention, could just be a sensor. [3] Look under the car for oil, transmission fluid or coolant leaks. Of course many people make sure that is all washed off before going to the sale. Listen to the bids. If something comes through and just sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Remember, many of those people make a living using those auctions, if they are not bidding on something that looks really nice, they probably have seen it before and know what is wrong with it.

How do you get to the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore?
Question:
I have gotten many different responses from both people and websites on the easiest and fastest way to get to the Maryland Zoo. I am from Baltimore so I don't live too far, and I was wondering if anyone could share the best ways they have gone. I am bringing a child with me, but he is not my child, so although Park Heights Avenue seems like an easy enough way to go, it goes through some bad neighborhoods that I'm not comfortable driving through with a small child in tow. I have heard from some that taking 83 is best, and others say just go Northern Parkway. I am nervous about getting lost with this child in the car, and really all I want to know are people's experiences going different ways and which way they have found works best. Thanks so much for any and all help!

Answer:
I wish you would have said what part of Baltimore you're coming from. Since you're skeptical about Park Heights Ave. and other neighborhoods - I'll give you the best way since I know the neighborhood like the back of my hand. From the north or south - take I-83 to Exit 9, Cold Spring Lane West. At the second traffic light (there's a police station at the first traffic light), take a left onto Greenspring Avenue South. At the bottom of the hill - keep going straight into the park. Follow signs for the Maryland Zoo. Reverse procedure on the way out.

Car seat regulations.........Maryland?
Question:
Can someone tell me the when i should turn the carseat around, facing front? What weight and height must my son be? Thanks!

Answer:
The law is 1 year AND 20lbs (and not or!) But it is strongly recommended to keep your child rear facing until they reach the maximum rear facing limits of your convertable carseat(at least 30lbs). These limits are either the maximum rear-facing weight limit or when the top of their head is within one inch of the top of the seat shell, whichever comes first. It provides the best protection from injury. Here is a link with information about Extended Rear-Facing. http://www.cpsafety.com/articles/StayRearFacing.asp x

motorcycle or car?? which should i try to get?
Question:
im a sophomore in high school right now, im 15 and im about 5'6 in height -it is relevent i was wondering about buying a motorcycle or just driving the suv we have, we have a 2002 izuzu trooper and a 2008 saab 97x aero, but im not getting near that for like 6 years. i am very much into cars and bikes. since i could talk i was able to name all the cars on the street, and from time to time ill try to identify the cars i see on the highway ( oncoming traffic so its a speed challenge) i usually get all them right. Anyways i thought that it would be fun to get a motorcycle whenever the law permitted i think its 18 for maryland. im also a big biking fan i learned to bike when i was 4 ( 2 wheels) i bike around very fast ( top speed ever would be 30mph) and have come close to being hit a few times ( about 7-8 times) from stupid cars ( jk i love them) i have what you could call a dangerous attraction to speed. i can drive fine its just that i need to work on braking smoothness ( i dont slam on the brakes though) . if i were to settle for the car then i would just be as is and drive the SUV, or the bike. for the bike i would have to work a couple of summers and star saving up money. my parents are afraid for me because of the risk involved in biking, my uncle has had a few bikes. they are trying to keep me away i guess. if i got he bike id prob start with a 500cc or 250cc. but i was also thinking that i should save up for a nice car one im out of college. im only considering a bike because of its size, and power-to-weight ratio, which always beat car. if u read this whole thing thanks, so what do u think i should do, 1- get a bike 2-stay with that isuzu trooper till after college

Answer:
keep the trooper cause you can have all your friends with you, which is usefull in college and get a motorcycle when you graduate and PAY the insurance!!! So wait till you get a job, and get a 600cc till you get good, the get a 1000cc, but dont get a 250cc because you will get knocked over by the wind when cars pass by, and wait till motorcyycle season when the isnt snow, but wait because insurance is hella exspensive for 20 year olds driving.

Answer:
Not all of these are actual riots, like the Los Angeles riot (that was a REAL riot.) Some of these are mis-named either because of press hype or because of racism on the part of local officials. Most of these are blown way out of proportion by calling them a "riot". For example, I lived near Plainfield, NJ in 1968 and there was a disturbance there, but I wouldn't call it a riot. And you'll notice that there are many incidents that are not called a riot, but also involve mass mob violence in which WHITE people attacked black people. A good example is the town of Rosewood in Florida. In 1923 there was such a horrific event there that the entire black population was either murdered or forced to flee for their lives, and the town was wiped off the face of the map. There were many events like this from the end of the 19th century, right up through the civil rights era of the 1950s and even early 1960s. Why weren't they called "riots"? EDIT: I just noticed you included the Stonewall Riot. You really should look that up. It had nothing to do with race! Gay New Yorkers, tired of being beaten and abused by police, fought back in what is historically considered the beginning of the Gay rights movement. While I'm sure there were Black people there, most of the people fighting the police were White. Do you just think the word "riot" implies "Black people" is that how you accidentally included this one? That says a lot about where you're coming from.

Car seat regulations.........Maryland?
Question:
Can someone tell me the when i should turn the carseat around, facing front? What weight and height must my son be? Thanks!

Answer:
I've put a bunch of links for you to check out below, but I'll try and sum it up here. Babies should be left rear facing until you absolutely HAVE to turn them forward b/c they are too big for the seat. Don't turn them forward b/c they're big and its inconvenient, or b/c you think he may enjoy it more or be more comfortable or you want to be able to see him. Bottom line is (and ALL child safety experts agree, including American Academy of Pediatrics) they should stay rear facing as long as possible, until their 2nd year if they will still fit in a rear facing seat. Regulations shouldn't matter as much as safety, but most regulations say a baby has to be BOTH 1 year old AND 20lbs to turn forward facing. But this is the bare minimum as far as safety is concerned. Babies bones haven't gone through the ossification (hardening, bonding) process that adults have, and crashes are much more damaging to their weak little bones. Being rear facing allows their head neck and spine to be braced against the back of the seat in an accident. Since lots of kids are big, this may require purchasing a different seat. But that doesn't have to mean a big expense. One of the best seats for extended rear facing is a Cosco Scenera - $40 at Walmart/Kmart/Target. It will rear face to 35lbs, and forward face to 40lbs. All Cosco/Safety1st/EddieBauer/Dorel convertible seats will rear face to 35lbs. If you're looking to get more use out of your money, you can get : Britax Marathon - rear faces to 33lbs, then forward faces to 65lbs! more expensive, but sure lasts longer Fisher Price Safe Voyage Convertible - rear faces to 33lbs, forward to 55lbs. Sunshine Kids Radian65 or Radian80 - this one can be hard to install, but will rear face to 33lbs, and forward face to 65 or 80lbs!!! Great buy if it will fit in your car. 1)Kids should stay rear facing as long as possible, to the height/weight limits of the seat 2)Kids should stay in a 5 point harness as long as possible
