Help with Car radio buttons please.? Question: Just bought a new car, with a standard renault radio in it. Could someone tell me what the following buttons mean/do? LDN = SRC = ULM = TA = Traffic Announcement (I know that one) DX = Also there's a button that says 'code'. Will pressing this just tell me what my code is? or will it reset the radio and ask me to imput my code? Thanks I have the car manual, but not the audio guide. It's actually a 10 year old car, when i said new i meant new to me. Thanks Unfortunately i don't know what the code is, but its working fine at the moment. I was hoping that pressing that button might reveal what the code is, but i don't want to risk resetting it. Answer: Hello ULM Is Radio Band U (Ultra (VHF)) L (Long wave) M (Medium wave). Each time pressed changes band selected sequentially Letter should appear on display and may only show L&M and S for Stereo Reception for VHF Do not press the Code button it will not tell you it.
