macomb, oakland, wayne county. please do not tell me to just do a search, i've already attempted but there are simply too many dealerships and cars to sort though. so, i'm asking if someone already knows of any such offers thanks!

Even though dealerships might not be advertising sign and drive leases, most of them will work a sign and drive deal with you. Their main goal is to get you into a car off their lot, and especially not one from a competitor. I have leased 2 vehicles from dodge dealerships and both have been sign and drive even though thats not what the ads stated. As far as finding a dealer to go to, the best way to go about that is to call around and find the best deal on the car that you are interested in. The lease I am in now, I decided that I wanted an 07 grand cherokee, and I honestly called just about every jeep dealership from Kalamazoo all the way to metro detroit area up to the Port Huron area. I had easily called over 15 places getting quotes. The best deal I got was in Ann Arbor. at Cueter Dodge and Jeep. I think that is the best way to go about it, because every dealership gave me a different quote. Also if they tell you they cant give you a quote over the phone, thats BS, thats just their way to get you to go the them so they can try to sell you in person. If they want your business then they will give you a good estimate on prices. Also I just want to add that if you are interested in a Dodge or Jeep vehicle, you should call Cueter Dodge and Jeep and ask for Mike R. He is the one that helped me out tremendously. When my two daughters got their license, my insurance more than doubled. Be glad your daughter never had an accident or your policy would have been voided and the accident not covered. The price hike CAN be mitigated somewhat if the kids have taken drivers ed and your kids have at least a B average in school, along with a multi-car discount. Some companies will discount another 10% by having your homeowners policy with them as well as your auto insurance...Good Luck!

How far do we let my neighbor take this?

I need to know if there is anything my family can do. I don't live at home anymore, but my mom's neighbor is really getting out of hand. My parents had a fire pit, which the neighbor didn't like, which is what started this whole thing. They now have a video camera pointed into the dining room window, and when my 16 year old sister called the police because she was creeped out, they said there was nothing they could do. The man has approached my siblings (Ages are 10, 11, 13, 16 and 17) only when my mom is not at home, and has verbally abused my entire family. But the police say "It's your word against his". Now, I realize that compared to Mr. Clean Cut Business Man, my family of 6 kids with a mechanic dad and store clerk mom are not "up to par", but the police treat my family like white trash every time they come. This latest set of mishaps has to do with our cat. At our old house, she was allowed outside. So, yea, despite our best efforts, sometimes she slips out the door. I have WATCHED him swerve at her with his car (she got a big gash in her forehead), he's trapped her in a live trap. Two days ago she went missing, and when my mom tried to ask what he'd done with her, he didn't even acknowledge she was speaking to him. She posted an ad online and the humane society in the next county gave her this man's address and told her he had turned her in as a stray. She was scheduled to be put to sleep tomorrow, and this man knew it. He watched my 13 year old sister, who is slow, walk around the back yard for two hours yesterday calling and listening for this cat, who my little sister adores (carriers her around everywhere). And he said NOTHING. Never mind the cruelty to the cat, but causing pain like this to my siblings just sickens me, and if I could beat this man and avoid an assult charge I would. Is there anything at all, under Michigan/Wayne County Law, that we can do?

get two things: #1 a video camera kept at the ready to record him verbally abusing you the next time it happens. #2 a laser to shoot at his camera. I'd also consider floodlights pointed at his house to be kept on all night long.
