Answer:
Recycle bottles, or just save money from birthdays and christmas presents. I made 38 dollars the other day by recycling 760 bottles :P also, during the summer, you can do the things you stated earlier like mowing lawns or babysitting during the summer cuz that's when parents likke to go out. You gotta do a little work to earn money

Grandma's arm going numb?
Question:
My grandma is 72 and after she rode the bus from michigan to minnesota her arm has been weird. When she arrived here her arm was pretty stiff and didn't hurt too bad. But today it is hurting her. She took Ibuprofen but it hasn't helped very much. In Michigan she also moved so furnature recently. And she is a senior companion so she has to lift some walkers into the car. I am concerned for her. Please answer this if you know what is going on. Is it just sore or what. If you are not exactly sure please dont answer.

Answer:
Grandma needs to check this out with a health care provider. If she is a caregiver, she might not be taking really good care of herself. It could be anything from a pinched nerve from positioning for a long time on the trip, to an inflamed muscle that would respond to some gentle stretches and possibly warm packs. It is important for her to get a proper diagnosis before she treats it and may overlook something important. Bless you honey for your love of Gramma. Hope this helps, Grandma is lucky to have you. Karen

Character name help fast please?
Question:
Ok so I'm starting another story just for fun over the summer. I kind of have the main plot down, but I'm stuck on some names for characters... The story takes place in a small town in northern Michigan on lake Michigan over the summer. Basically, the main character is a 16 year old girl, her family immigrated from a country but they are not allowed to tell her where yet (Because they worked for the Lithuanian gov. on a failed secret project), and a boat with a drunk driver crashes into her bedroom one night and she is taken to the hospital with multiple serious injuries... The main characters name is going to be Gwendolyn (Gwen) Walker, but her real name is Ona (like ah-nah)... What do you think? what should she look like? What color hair, eyes, tall or short, personality, etc. The last thing I need is a name for a 16 year old boy. His family has just moved into the small town in Michigan, he falls in love with Gwen the first day he meets her, his little sister (Vera) gets hit by a car and shares a hospital room with Gwen, so he gets to spend time with them both... I kind of liked the name Milo, but Im open to any suggestions... what should I name him? (Hes blond, tall, shy but very nice)... Please answer my questions and thank you so much!

Answer:
I like the idea of using the Lithuania flag Yellow-Top, Green-Middle, and Red-Bottom; as your guide, blonde hair, green eyes, and bright red lips, also pale skin. She should be tall and very religious, so when her parents secrets come out they will be in direct conflict of her beliefs. You should also make it where she'll have a scar from the boating accident, something that's really noticeably and she's always trying to cover it up but yet everybody already knows about anyway. It would be something that would weigh heavy on heart. I really like the name Milo as well, you should stick with it, but I would change his hair to black because when I hear the name Milo I automatically think of dark hair.

Answer:
I like Gwendolyn (Gwen) Walker, but I think that people will assume Ona is pronounced 'oh-nah'. Unless that doesn't matter to you, I would consider changing the spelling to Ana. I think she should be tall and skinny, with long brown hair and green eyes, has a nice and bubbly personality, likes nature/being outside and drawing/painting. Milo is very cute :) Also: Skyler Matt Sebastian Tyler Brennan Chase

Can local government laws usurp State laws...?
Question:
Michigan: A three county consortium regulates several local big metro lake parks. In two of the ones I go to, were auto driveways to parking cross the paved bike trail, there are stops signs on the bike trail stopping pedestrians and not stop signs for autos giving right of way to autos. State laws dictates that motor vehicles give right away to pedestrians. I got into a spat with an auto driver who purposely timed his crossing to intercept my crossing the intersection stopping me forcefully. I have never ever seen any bikers, skaters, walkers stop for the stop signs whether a car is approaching or not. He insisted that I was wrong… I insisted that he has not the right to threaten me with his vehicle whether I was in the wrong or right. (feel superior- prove point?) Later on the trail when we crossed paths, I needed to apologize for gesturing him rudely at the time of his forcing me to stop, I shared with him, "I rather be wrong and happy than right and miserable." RICHARD

Answer:
Each level of law can only be more-restrictive than the one above it, so federal laws cannot be overturned by the states; state laws cannot be overturned by counties, etc. Note that this means only that things usually get worse (more-restrictive), as they get more-local. The exception comes when a local law tries to step on some right guaranteed by a higher law, like a state declaring Presbyterianism to be the state religion, when there is a federal law that prohibits such an activity.
