well mapquest says it's about 960 miles...if we round that up to 1000 and divide by 25 we get 40, meaning you'd need about 40 gallons of gas. assuming the price of gas is $4/gallon, the price of gas for a one way trip is about $160. if you eat 4 meals on the way (it's a 16 hr trip) and they're all fast food, budget about $30 for food. so altogether a one way trip might be about $200 (i rounded everything up to give the most conservative estimate, so the actual cost may be lower).

My friends in Michigan (they usually come to Canada to see me) have assured me that nothing will go wrong, but I am still concerned that my car will get shot up after clearing US customs. But anyway I am a 30 year old female and I hate my life and don't want to live anymore.The reason why is because I live in Novi Michigan I had friends but I don't anymore. Here's what happened back in 2008 I used to walk my dog alot and sometimes when I would walk my dog I would cut through a alley as a short cut but the alley was right next to a store and the stores outside cameras would show me walking back and forth through the alley.I was honestly just using the alley as a shortcut.Well the security who monitors the stores outside cameras must've contacted the police because I would see the police there in the store alot. Then I started noticing when I would walk my dog I would see police cars following me,so I stopped walking my dog that way I would take her to the park but then the police followed me there so I stopped walking her as much.The police found out what street I live on and they notified all my neighbors that I am a drug user....now everyone on my street hates me and basically everyone in my area hates me. I didn't have many friends at first but now I have none. My friends will see me and go the other way all because of me being accused of something I didn't do and don't intend on doing.My mother hates me she calls me stupid, dumb,witch,b**** etc,and says she wishes I would move out and get away from her. That hurts alot knowing she doesn't want me around anymore.My brother says he hopes someone kills me he hates me too. My ex-friends said they hate crackheads and they don't want me to be hanging around with them either. I feel hurt unwanted and unloved. I have nobody and I don't know what to do.I do know I don't want my life anymore,I have thought of ways to kill myself which I have picked out a way to kill myself. I mean honestly why shouldn't I do it who will miss me....NOBODY!!!! There's nothing wrong with your name, I think it's nice. I'm not much older than you (33). I used to feel scared and trapped in my life also. I've never taken drugs, but that didn't stop my family from hating me. People can be wicked and selfish. That is for sure, nomatter how "good" of a person you are, many people may treat you shamefully, for thier own, shallow and selfish reasons, so don't let that get you down. This all comes from the kind of world we live in. Sin is all around us and if we aren't exteemely careful, sin can take up residence within us. Some people think we are born sinners (on this point, I disagree) but misfortunes and propensities to sin that aren't even our fault, can occur. They can be generational (from our parents or ancestors) but those cycles can be broken by the power of God. Even though something isn't our fault things can still affect us and we are the ones having to deal with it. But taking on the world to change things singlehandedly, just isn't going to happen. Everyone needs some kind of help sometimes, so what you've got to do is get strong. Keep going to your therapist that diagnosed you and get on substance treatment. Keep walking your dog and hold your head up high. Do not let the thoughts that others think toward you become the thoughts that *you* begin to think toward you. Remember, that God is real and He cares about what happens to you. He loves you, even when everyone else abuses or betrays you. He is your strength and refuge. Believe and trust Him and you will see. All that matters is what God thinks of you and what you think of you. I'm sorry you have addiction, please get treatment for that as well. Know that just because you are struggling with addiction doesn't mean you are any less or any worse of a person than anybody else. You are God's creation and He loves you there is no changing that. Really seek Him and pray so that you'll really get to know Him. There are churches too and people that might be able to help. One place I know of is called: "Teen Challenge" it isn't just for teens, it's for everyone struggling with addiction and other life challenges.
