Take it to the dealer they have everything needed to fix it OR to any body shop.

i am applying to graduate school programs and all of the programs i am looking at are in the midwest except that i don't drive. i am look at east lansing (michigan state), ohio u, indiana u at bloomington, u kansas in lawrence and a few others.. are any of those places doable without a car?

You don't need a car at IU Bloomington if you live on campus or in an apartment near campus or a bus line. You can walk, bike or take a bus (free to students) just about anywhere you need to go. All students pay a mandatory transportation fee that covers the cost of campus or city bus transportation. You can take a shuttle (not free) to the Indianapolis airport when you want to go home. The university discourages freshmen by having cars on campus by assigning them parking spots near the athletic facilities and requiring that the cars be moved elsewhere when there is a home football or basketball game.

*Apt - gas heat should be included in most apt communities. In my experience electricity isn't usually included. Scarf, hat, very warm coat. Lansing has a nice outlet mall too. http://www.tangeroutlet.com/howell *IMO a car is best but you may do ok w/the bus system. *As others have stated - a very cold car may not start. However, I've lived in Michigan my whole life and can't remember a time my car didn't start due to the cold. *Health wise - wash your hands (a lot!), use those hand sanitizers. Take vitamins (especially C). Colds are more common in winter but not due to the cold. People are inside more which makes it easier for viruses to spread. Best of luck with your move!

It would be about a 33-hour drive IF you could go non-stop, or if you have several people to split the driving chores. Plan on AT LEAST $400 each way, depending upon what the fuel costs are averaging at the time of your trip and what kind of mileage your car gets.

I was driving to the Meijer store and thought I saw a plane at first. The light was constant and orange though, so I pulled over (since I was still in my apartment complex) and got out of my car. At that point I determined it definitely wasn't a plane, because the light was pretty constant and not flashing light the lights of a plane. The object moved relatively slowly across the sky, and then 2 more followed almost the exact same path. I just wanted to know if anyone else saw it if they live in the surrounding area! Did a little more research, and I think it may have been "space junk" or "debris" reentering the atmosphere. It was 3 separate objects, and they were definitely not orbiting satellites, I know what those look like. They were brighter than Venus and orange in color. All three followed the same path and were all within 20-30 seconds of each other.

Those sound more like satellites than meteors. It was not the ISS, which was last seen at your location at 4:50 a.m. August 7. If the lights were very slow, they might have been Chinese paper lanterns.
