I need a list of recommended car detailers. Can anyone assist me?
Question:
I am looking for detailers in the state of Michigan in surrounding cities like, Roseville, Eastpointe, Mount Clemens, Chesterfield, Fraser, Utica, Sterling Heights, Clinton Twp, Harrison Twp, Macomb Twp, Warren, Saint Clair Shores and Harper Woods.

Answer:
You are listing a lot of cities. I would just do a google search. That would be the best thing to do.

will my car insurance go up because i have a child with a driver's license?
Question:
Hello, I am writing from Tucson, Arizona and I have 2 teenage sons (16 & 17) that both live in Wayne County, Michigan (near Detroit). The boys live with my ex-husband and he wont let them get their driver's license because he claims 'his insurance rates will go up'. ???is this true???? (I have a 21 year old daughter and when she was 16 with her driver's license I just excluded her from my insurance with one company and when I switched to another company, I just ommitted telling them I had a teenage driver. Does anyone know who this works in Michigan, Harper Woods, Michigan, I believe he has just a local company with no-fault insurance, state basic minimim insurance. ???Or if the boys do have to get their own insurance when they do get their own car, does anybody know the best rates for new teenage drivers with a good record???? thanks

Answer:
When my two daughters got their license, my insurance more than doubled. Be glad your daughter never had an accident or your policy would have been voided and the accident not covered. The price hike CAN be mitigated somewhat if the kids have taken drivers ed and your kids have at least a B average in school, along with a multi-car discount. Some companies will discount another 10% by having your homeowners policy with them as well as your auto insurance...Good Luck!

Any advice of police officer dtinking and driving drunken driving crash that left another man severely injured
Question:
Will the police officer in this story be able to stay sober until his trail date or will he show up drunk ?This drunk police officer got special treatment. To this day I can only guess he is till drinking .A retired cop and court officer received 90 days in jail and six months house arrest Wednesday for a drunken driving crash that left another man severely injured. Advertisement The sentence handed down to Joseph Wojtas, 72, of Center Line, by Judge James Biernat of Macomb County Circuit Court upset family members and friends of the victim, Joseph Sengstock, because they believed it was too lenient. Wojtas pleaded no contest to the original charge, drunken driving causing serious injury, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Sentencing guidelines indicated a sentence range of only zero to 14 months, and probation officials recommended 18 months probation. "He should have gotten five years," said Sengstock's mother, Linda Sengstock, outside the courtroom. "He needs to have time to think about what he did. What he (her son) has been subjected to is beyond comprehension." She claimed that if the victim had been Wojtas' age and the defendant her son's age, 30, the penalty would be stricter. Joseph Sengstock Jr. of Sterling Heights will require around-the-clock care for the rest of his life. He remains bedridden with a closed head injury and multiple fractures in the head and face. Two arteries were torn, causing a stroke, and he is blind in one eye and partially blind in the second eye. "He's handicapped for life," Linda Sengstock said, adding she has been told the cost of his lifetime care will be $5 million to $7 million. The family has already filed a lawsuit against Wojtas in Macomb circuit court. Biernat, who also sentenced Wojtas to the longest probation term possible, five years, noted that Wojtas had no prior criminal record and a lifetime of helping charitable organizations. The judge noted he served more than 20 years as a "decorated member of the Detroit Police Department" and an officer at 37th District Court in Warren. Biernat received many letters from police officers, lawyers and judges attesting to Wojtas' good character. Still, the judge said, "A crime can destroy a lifetime of dedicated service and charity. This is something Mr. Wojtas will have to live with the rest of his life. "The court is mindful that the family is in ... agony over this sad and tragic event. Given the gravity of the offense, given the high level of alcohol involved, the court believes a 5-year probation term is appropriate." In asking the judge to exceed the probation department's recommendation, assistant Macomb prosecutor Jamie Wittenberg pointed out that the charge is too broad because a serious injury can range from "losing a finger" to the near-fatal injuries suffered by Sengstock. The victim's father, Joseph Sengstock Sr., said Wojtas should suffer greater consequences because of his former position as a police and court officer in which he saw firsthand the potentially dire consequences of drinking and driving. "He should have more respect for the law serving as a policeman," he said. Wojtas, whose blood-alcohol contest registered .19 percent following the crash, was speeding out of a parking lot about 4:40 p.m. Jan. 11 when his Mercury Marquis car hit a boulder, went airborne and hit Sengstock's 1976 Cordoba that was stopped for a traffic light at 10 Mile and Sherwood roads in Center Line, according to Center Line police. Sengstock's car was pushed into a semi-truck. Sengstock had finished working that day and was on his way to visit his grandfather, Anthony Bugliesi of Center Line, his family said. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Harper Woods and most recently worked making robots for Utica Enterprises in Shelby Township. He also worked part-time at a group of bowling alleys. He had lived on his own for several years but had moved back to his parents' home to be with his sister, Christina, for her senior year in high school. About two-dozen supporters of the Sengstocks attended the hearing. Wojtas spoke at the hearing but was inaudible to court spectators. His sister spoke and apologized to the family. "I wish to express my sorrow," she said. "Our family and friends continue to pray for this man." Wojtas' attorney, Albert Markowski, and a probation officer said that Wojtas has displayed sincere remorse about the incident. Markowski said Wojtas did not "publicly express his sorrow" due to legal reasons. Sengstock's family members had accused Wojtas of being unremorseful and continuing to consume alcohol, driven to bars by friends, despite daily alcohol testing at the Center Line police station. Biernat in June placed Wojtas on a tether due to the allegations. Markowski denied his client had been drinking. The 6-month tether that Wojtas will be required to wear following his 90 days in the Macomb County Jail will include a device that can detect alcohol use. Looking for more local content? Answer:
Wow this really hit a nerve. There is NOT MUCH JUSTICE IN MACOMB COUNTY. I have had Warren police beat my son so badly he had to be hospitalized, because he was ill and couldn't answer some of their questions. He was in for 5 years till we got the right attorney. It is horrible!! Just middle class people trying to do the right thing.

I got it from some black guy!!!!!!! =) @ Chris, come on man. @ Predizzle, you idiot. I'm white!

Answer:
It would take months to find out how many really were invented by black people, but the list is highly suspicious. Some of the items (shoes, hair brush, kitchen table) are so ancient that there is not the slightest possibility that anyone knows who the inventor was. I looked up a few of these more or less at random, those attributed to Granville Woods. Woods wasn't really black (part Australian aborigine, part Malaysian). He was an accomplished inventor who held 60 patents and was known in his life as 'the black Edison'. But he doesn't seem to have truly invented any of the items attributed to him on this list, although he did patent significant improvements for many of them, and perhaps others not listed. G. W. Carver was also a great inventor, and he may well have developed some useful new formulas for soaps and paints, but both existed for millennia before he was born. So I suspect that many of the other items, if checked, would also not check out,

Isn't it sad that this small list shows the full extent of Black American practical inventions?

Question:
Intro I sat on the swing, not swinging, just sitting. It was midnight and I hadn’t fed in three days. It was agonizing, this new life I wanted to lead. I had no clue what I was trying to prove to myself or the pain that it would cause. I thought back to when I became like this—a monster. I was swinging, not sitting, swinging. And then in an instance, I felt a rush of cold air. Then I saw a shadow. I was a coward, being ten and all, but still becoming this monster the shadow made me. It whispered, “Eighteen.” I figured out what it meant later on. That I would keep growing until the mature age of eighteen. I’m fifteen now, so I still have some growing to do. But when the clock strikes twelve on October seventeenth, I will become a full vampire. I sighed as I felt that breeze once more and I got off the swing, my brown hair blowing wildly in my face. I needed someone with me at that moment. Just—just someone to protect me. I caught the eye of someone walking by as he passed me; he walked backwards to make sure I was still there. He went to my school, in the same class, popular too. I saw his chiseled face and tousled brownish gold hair and gleaming green eyes. “Hey, don’t I know you?” I stuffed my hands in my jean pockets. I wasn’t one to talk and I went by with school with a breeze. I didn’t want to be bothered with these people, the people I despised because they still have normal lives. The people I could seduce and then eat. Ugh. “Maybe, maybe not,” I said almost inaudibly. “You’re Harper, aren’t you? Am I right?” “And you’re Chase.” He smiled and cracked his knuckles. “What’re you doing out in the park at midnight?” I looked around to make sure no one was watching. My parents were probably worried about me. My curfew was at ten. It was twelve o’ two. I puffed out a cold breath of air. He waited on me to answer. “I could ask the same for you,” I said stubbornly. I didn’t have time for twenty questions. “I’m sorry, I just thought—anyway, uh, I should be going. See you in class tomorrow.” He pivoted on his heel and turned back to make sure I didn’t disappear. “I will see you tomorrow, right?” I smiled and bit my lip. “Maybe.” “Okay, I’ll go now. Later.” I watched him leave. I wonder what he meant by that. I walked to the train and entered the last leave. I was the only passenger. I stopped at 5th Street Montgomery and took a left. My house was in the woods, not a long walk, but long enough. I lifted my hood unto my head. I ran 150mph and reached the house in two seconds. I appeared in my room, dressed in my pajamas like I never left. I had the ability to appear and disappear. I was thankful at times for that little power. I didn’t feel like going to school when I woke up. My Shih Tzu, Tyler, and my mother begging Tyler to get off the bed waked me up. I put on some random clothes out of my closet, took a shower, and made sure my clothes matched. My hair would dry into curls when I reached the parking lot. I ran to school without people noticing. My other hidden talents I just discovered. I saw Chase standing outside his car. I smiled to myself and ran behind his back. I felt a breeze from my speed ad he must’ve too because he turned around amazed. “Hey, I was looking for you.” “Why?” Now, I was concerned. “I need to ask— “Hey babe,” Susan Lincoln said before she kissed his cheek. She gave me a pity look and smiled at Chase. Her new little boy toy. “Hello, Harper.” I hinted a smile, but reluctantly said, “Hey, Susan.” This was one girl I could feed off of. She was one of those people who you slap and she laughs. “Harper, I guess I’ll see you later.” If I’m not mistaken, I thought I saw a little bit of sadness in his green eyes. “Um, whenever you get a chance. I don’t care,” I said leaving Susan with her man. I knew she would say something about it later or get payback for me talking to her boyfriend, but I didn’t care. I was a vampire. Vampires, (well I) don’t care about anything including drama. So I as I entered the doors to Ellington High, I had a huge grin as I saw my other vampire friends who went along with the crowd just as I did. Being what i like to call Invisible while trying to be normal.

Answer:
a lot of proof reading problems. "waked" isn't a word, by the way. The past tense of wake is woke. So let's go over this paragraph: I didn’t feel like going to school when I woke up. My Shih Tzu, Tyler, and my mother begging Tyler to get off the bed waked me up. I put on some random clothes out of my closet, took a shower, and made sure my clothes matched. My hair would dry into curls when I reached the parking lot. I ran to school without people noticing. My other hidden talents I just discovered. pretty much everything in this paragraph is poorly worded. The second sentence is too complex and confusing to understand on the first (and possibly second) reading, so you need to find a new way to say what you want. Then what you have is putting ON clothes after taking them out of the closet, then taking a shower (in the new clothes?) and checking to make sure they match. Does that make sense to you? Because it doesn't to me. But I think I know what you meant to say and I'm sure you can correct yourself. There was another really obvious mistype, but I can't remember where it was... I'm sure you'd find it if you read over this carefully. As far as the story goes. It seems interesting enough. You've made the narrator mysterious and interesting and you've immediately added conflict, so hurray. But Can you think of making your vampires a little more original. I don't read many vampire stories and I'm already really tired of hearing about their tremendous speed. Try something else.

Can You Critique Again(i think i fixed my mistakes and changed to werewolves)?

Werewolves, (well I) don’t care about anything including drama. So I as I entered the doors to Ellington High, I had a huge grin as I saw my other werewolf friends who went along with the crowd just as I did. Being what I like to call invisible while trying to be normal. I knew every face in the room…but one. He was tall, kind of muscular, and his hair needed a cut. He was trying to be a skater guy wannabe, but I could tell he had class. I saw Nicole, another one like me, looking at him with a smile. I knew what she was thinking, but I was trying not to be that person anymore. My fears were coming to haunt me and Nicole knew that. She knew what I did not want. I looked at him again, his eyes a hazel color reflected by the sun. He grinned at me and stared back at the window. My eyes averted back to Nicole. She already made up her mind. She was going in her pack to kill him. I was disgusted. My head rested in my hands. Four days without feeding. It just felt so wrong. But if I wanted to be as close to un-dog like as possible, I had to keep eating normal food. After school, I was going to try and stop Nicole. Today wasn’t really the first day of school; it was more like an introduction day for Ellington High. Fine with me, though, I knew it would go by fast. 1. Nicole waited on the steps. I shook my head as I passed her. What would I do? What would I say? “Not gunna join the party?” She asked humorously. “I don’t think so,” I said, turning to go. “Why?” she asked more content. “Because when I see all those missing people in the newspaper,” I turned to her. “I know it is because of me, and I cannot anymore, Nicole.” I tried to walk away, but she quickly grabbed my arm. Her face was serious and her blonde hair blew in the quick breeze, her blue eyes gleaming and staring me down…hard. “It wasn’t just you, Harper. It was all of us; the whole pack. Don’t upbraid yourself. “I haven’t eaten.” “Then, have your snack. Be at the alley for ten.” I yanked my arm away. “Nicole, I’m not going to anymore.” I left without another word. I knew what was going to happen and I had to stop it. As soon as I got home, I conjured up a plan to stop my friends before they actually hunt this innocent guy and kill him. I needed my strength to make them stop, even if they would hate me. I only had about three hours left and still no decent map out of what I was going to do. I yelled into my pillow. Why could I not do this? At that moment my cell rang. It was Chase. I couldn’t answer it, not when I was in the middle of trying to do the right thing. But I didn’t hesitate to pick it up the second time he called. “Finally, I got to you,” he said. It sounded like he was out of breath. “What do you want?” I asked, putting down my pen and rereading my sentences in my notebook. “What I was trying to ask you was, are you okay?” “Huh?” I was confused. “What do you mean, Chase?” “I mean what I asked. You never talk, you just don’t seem okay.” “I’m fine. I do talk, just not to you. What are you trying to imply?” “Nothing, I’m not trying to offend you. I just wanted to know, since you were out so late yesterday.” “You were too. What were you doing? Coming back from Susan’s bedroom? Look, I don’t need you watching after me like I’m some little kid, okay?” I was getting irritated. Having people treat me like I’m five or having someone force me to go to the alley at ten. I was not a little girl anymore! I can handle myself! “Yeah.” There was a long pause. “I’ll leave you alone. Bye, Harper.” I sighed and looked at the clock. Two and a half hours left. And still no plan. Fifteen minutes left. Fifteen minutes left. I have got to be kidding myself. There is no way in hell I could come up with some brilliant scheme to help this guy. I needed to get there quick. But he couldn’t know who I was. I couldn’t shape shift into the wolf form yet, because I wasn’t fully trained yet. I grabbed a black long sleeve turtleneck and some slim skinny dark washed jeans (of course with black converse). I pulled my hair into a ponytail and made sure I didn’t look like the girl he saw earlier, then suspicion would lead, and then doom for all of us. I ran all the way to the alley without any traffic. Not a lot of jaywalkers today in Manhattan, which was uncommon. But I didn’t care; I needed to get there fast. I saw Nicole and her group already watching out for him. He needed to take an opposite direction.
