What is happening to my phone? (Please help!)?
Question:
I was with my mom in the car on my way to Waldorf, Maryland. I was playing with her phone when all of a sudden, the screen froze in the middle of opening an application. I tried returning to the home screen but nothing happened. I slid out the keyboard and the screen went black. It was defiantly not the battery, because the phone is only 2 weeks old and because it was connected to a charger at the time. I tried unplugging the charger and then plugging it back in but nothing happened. No matter how many times I hit the power button, nothing happened. So I just set it down and assumed we would deal with it later. On our way back, in the same area her phone got messed up, I opened a picture message and my screen froze. I tried shutting off my phone but the screen is stuck. It is the entire phone, not just the screen or the keyboard. I tried charging it but absolutely nothing happened. Unlike my mom's phone, my screen will not turn off. My mom's phone is an LG Ally and my phone is a Samsung Intensity II. We both have Verizon. When I connect them to my PC I get mixed results. Neither phone recognizes that it is connected. But with the LG, the computer asks to install software. When the Samsung is connected, I get an error message that says "There was a problem while installing software for you device. Your new device may not be working properly" I have no idea what I should do, and I can't find answers anywhere else. Please help. !Rachel!:D

Answer:
I'm not exactly sure what is going on with how you described things. If you are both using the SAME charger in the car - it's the charger. Both of these phones should not be acting this way and both of these handsets you indicated were plugged in charging in the car when this happened. You may need to download a driver for the Samsung Intensity II in order for your computer to recognize it. You can find the driver here: http://www.samsung.com/ae/consumer/mobile-phones/mobile- phones/infotainment/GT-I9000HKDXSG/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail& tab=support I know it shows a different phone but, do not worry with this... Click on the Samsung Kies download and the it will show the file on the right and you must download the exe file or do a right click, save as to download it. This should connect your phone to your computer. If a disk came with the phone, you could use that as well. Samsung Kies use to be Samsung PC Studio, just fyi. I would stop using the car charger and take it back to where ever you bought it and get a refund. Good Luck!!

How much would a paint job cost for my car?
Question:
I own a 1991 Toyota Corolla. Paint is very worn out and it's desperate to be re-painted. I live in Southern Maryland. Can anybody estimate the price & some auto shops near Waldorf, MD?

Answer:
Your probably looking at between $1500-2000 dollars for a decent paint job it also depends if any body work needs to be done. Most places like to put body putty over small dents and groves since its a 91 I'm suspecting there is also some rust which will need to be ground down and puttied or replaced with sheet metal. If you are not concerned about body work and you just want the paint replaced you may be looking at a considerable amount less but be sure to specify when looking for a local quote. Be warned most body and paint shops like to gouge so shop around and be specific.

Is there a company that ships animals ?
Question:
My sis was killed in a car accident on Dec 11 2008 in Maryland. My sis's had a mini pincher that her husband is no longer able to care for and would like to have something of my sisters so I am willing to take her pet. I have kids and unable to make the 10 hour drive without alot of planning and a good sitter for my kids. Is there a company that would ship the puppy to me? The dog is in Waldorf, Maryland and I am in Indianapolis, Indiana? I have asked around, none of the big names are willing ot do this. I am able to fly with her on any airlaine but again I cannot afford such a short trip nor the cost with three kids.

Answer:
Most airlines will fly pets via cargo, but I recommend Continental's Quick Pak program. They are who I use to ship dogs/puppies and have never had a problem with them. http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/content/travel/animals/r ates.aspx

We bought a used car for 700.00 need to know if we can get another car or money back?
Question:
My husband and I purchased a used mazda for 700.00 from a pic and pay dealership in waldorf md. We had to pay 500.00 monthly fees becuase the overall price for the car was I believe 2000.00. We only had the car for almost a week before it started to break down and the farthest place we drove it to was an airplane museum out in virginia somewhere. We were driving down the road and from behind us was a lot of white smoke. So we pulled over and called the guy to come fix the car and he had to tow it back to the dealer we got it from. The guy asked us for 500.00 to fix the car. (Keep in mind this is the same guy who sold it to us) Now I have never heard of a dealer telling us that we need to pay for a car we didnt even damage. We drove the car to dc from maryland and it just all of a sudden blows smoke out of it. What can we do to get this money back from the dealer or at least get a better car? We only had it for almost a week before it started acting stupid. Is it too late to file claims against them it happened last year. The car when we first purchased it didnt even have an antennae for the radio and the trunk wouldnt open and it had a broken key in the key hole of the trunk. We paid I believe 170.00 for insurance on the car. Sorry messed up the title. We put up 700.00 for down payment on the car. The car had a warranty of 90 days on it.

Answer:
I am not sure if you paid $700 or $2000 . If it was $700, you probably got your money's worth. If it was $2000 and then $500 to fix it , then I would hope for it to last a little longer. If this happened last year , why would you wait until now to make a fuss? You should have complained at the time. If the sale was made "where is, as is. no warranty", you would have no legal room to complain as soon as you signed the deal. After a year, I do not think you even have moral grounds
